BattleBots combines science, sports, and scrap metal into the
coolest competition ever! Does your BattleBot have what it takes
to overcome all challengers in no-holds-barred robot combat? It's
time to kick some Bot and find out!
To get the most enjoyment from your BattleBot, we recommend
you read these instructions fully.
I. WELCOME TO BATTLEBOTS!
II. INSERTING THE BATTERIES
III. ASSEMBLING THE ARENA
Your BattleBots come with an arena that you
can assemble. You will need a smooth,
flat surface (such as countertop or glass
surface) where the suction cups will stick
down. Assemble the arena walls as shown
below.
You don't have to limit yourself to just the included arena! You can
use just about anything to make an arena for your BattleBots -
books, boards, bricks, whatever you like.
IV. HOW TO HAVE A BATTLEBOTS MATCH
Make sure your protective body shell is
firmly attached.
Each player should turn his Bot on.
Now stand back and
watch the action!
Hair entanglement may result if child's hair
comes in contact with moving parts of toy.
Adult supervision is required.
CAUTION:
Once your Bot is turned on, hold it above the arena and wait for
your opponent. On the count of three, both players should quickly
place their Bots inside the arena.
Using a Philips® screwdriver, loosen the screw
from the battery compartment door located on
the bottom of the Bot. Remove the battery
compartment door.
Insert 2 x AAA/LR03 batteries making
sure to align the “+” and “-” as shown
inside the battery
compartment.
Replace battery compartment
door and screw into place, then
replace the Bot outer body shell.
CAUTION: Batteries should be replaced by an adult.
Not suitable for children under 36 months, may
contain small parts.
To ensure proper function :
• Battery installation should be done by
an adult.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to
be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be
removed from the toy before being
charged (if removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be
charged under adult supervision (if removable).
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as
recommended are to be used.
• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
• The supply terminals are not to be short- circuited.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable batteries.
DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERIES IN FIRE, BATTERIES MAY
EXPLODE OR LEAK.
ONOFF
VI. FIGHT HARD, BUT FIGHT FAIR!
If your Bot gets caught on the side of the arena and can't move,
don't touch! If your opponent's Bot is still moving, you have to
give it a chance to kick your Bot!
If BOTH Bots get caught on the side of the arena and can't move,
both players should pick up their Bot and move them back to their
starting positions. Let go and resume the combat!
