The Hatco Mini-Compact electric specialty
water heater provides 180°F (82°C)
water for either hot water sanitizing
or point-of-use water dispensing.
FLEXIBILITY
The Mini-Compact can be installed
almost anywhere and comes with
standard 6" (152 mm) legs. Available
in two models, both with a storage
capacity of 3.2 gallons (12 liters).
QUALITY
The following features assure the finest
performance for years to come:
• Mini-Compact water heaters feature a
stainless steel tank and a fast recovery.
• Available in two models: 10kW
and 11kW.
• All models include stainless steel
front with powdercoated silver-gray
hammertone body, black base,
and 6" (152 mm) legs.
• Options include stainless steel body
and base, brass pressure reducing
valve, stainless steel adjustable legs,
or deck mounting legs.
•
Features include a temperature/pressure
relief valve, a pressure reducing valve,
two temperature/pressure gauges,
a high-temperature limit control, and
a low-water cut-off to prevent element
burnout due to a low water condition.
• Each booster has fiberglass insulation
to minimize heat loss.

WATER QUALITY REQUIREMENTS
Incoming water in excess of 3.0 grains of hardness per gallon (GPG) (.75 grains
of hardness per liter) must be treated and softened before being supplied to
water heater(s). Water containing over 3.0 GPG (.75 GPL) will decrease the
efficiency and reduce the operating life of the unit.
Note: Product failure caused by liming or sediment buildup is not covered
under warranty.

PRODUCT SPECS
Electric Specialty Water Heater
The Electric Specialty Water Heater to supply 180°F (82°C)
water shall be a Mini-Compact Model ....as manufactured for
commercial use by the Hatco Corporation, Milwaukee, WI
53234 U.S.A.
The Water Heater shall have the capacity to heat ....gph (lph)
from 120°F to 180°F (49°C to 82°C) and it shall be rated at
....kW, ....volts, ....phase.
The heater shall be complete with a stainless steel tank and all
internal plumbing, including 3/4" NPT pipe and fittings for inlet
and outlet. All controls shall be built-in, including contactors and
prewired in accordance with UL #1453 and NEC 422-27.
Proper surface mounting circuit breaker or fused disconnect
switch shall be provided by electrical contractor.
Electric heating elements shall be metal sheathed, controlled
by an ambient compensating immersion thermostat. The Water
Heater shall be protected with high-temperature limit switch
(ECO) and low-water cut-off.
The heater shall consist of stainless steel front and silver-gray
hammertone body with standard 6" (152 mm) legs.
