Zoals voor alle elektrische huishoudtoestellen, wees
voorzichtig wanneer u deze ventilator gebruikt om letsel,
brand en schade aan het apparaat zelf te vermijden. Voordat
u het voor de eerste keer gebruikt, lees deze
gebruikershandleiding grondig door en besteed aandacht aan
de veiligheidsvoorschriften en aanwijzingen die op het
apparaat zijn gedrukt.
BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
WAARSCHUWING –wanneer u elektrische apparaten
gebruikt, dient u altijd de standaard veiligheidsvoorzorgen in
acht te nemen om het gevaar voor brand, elektrische schok
en letsels te vermijden.
1. Dit toestel mag gebruikt worden door kinderen vanaf de
leeftijd van 8 jaar en door personen met verminderde
fysieke, zintuiglijke of mentale capaciteiten of met gebrek
aan ervaring of kennis, indien zij onder het toezicht staan
of gebruiksinstructies voor het veilig gebruik van dit toestel
gekregen hebben en de mogelijke gevaren begrijpen.
Kinderen mogen niet met dit toestel spelen. Kinderen die
niet onder toezicht staan, mogen dit apparaat niet reinigen
of onderhouden.
2. Dit apparaat mag enkel voorzien in een zeer lage
veiligheidsspanning zoals aangeduid op het typeplaatje van
het apparaat.
3. Dit apparaat op een verkeerde manier gebruiken kan

schade aan het apparaat of de producten waarmee het is
verbonden veroorzaken.
4. Haal altijd de USB-stekker van het apparaat uit de voeding
wanneer het volledig is opgeladen en voordat u het reinigt.
Neem altijd de USB-stekker vast en trek niet aan de kabel
om het te ontkoppelen.
5. Zorg dat de USB-kabel niet over scherpe randen hangt en
houd het uit de buurt van hete voorwerpen en open
vlammen.
6. Dompel het apparaat of de USB-kabel niet in water of een
andere vloeistof. Er is gevaar voor elektrische schokken!
7. Stop/haal de USB-stekker niet met natte handen in/uit het
apparaat.
8. Probeer nooit om de behuizing van het apparaat te openen
en repareer het apparaat niet zelf. Dit kan een elektrische
schok veroorzaken.
9. Laat het toestel niet achter zonder toezicht, als het in
gebruik is.
10. Dit apparaat is niet geschikt voor commercieel gebruik.
11. Gebruik het apparaat alleen waarvoor het is bestemd.
12. Hou het toestel uit de buurt van vochtigheid en bescherm
het tegen waterdruppels.
13. Bewaar het toestel op een droge plaats, ontoegankelijk
voor kinderen (in zijn verpakking).
14. Steek uw vingers of andere voorwerpen niet door de
beschermingsroosters van de ventilator als de ventilator
aan het werken is.
15. Neem het product nooit zonder correct gemonteerde
beschermende roosters in gebruik, aangezien dit ernstig
persoonlijk letsel tot gevolg kan hebben.
16. Wees voorzichtig met lang haar! Het kan in de ventilator
draaien door de luchtturbulentie.
17. Richt de luchtstroom niet te lang naar personen.
18. Zorg ervoor dat de USB-stekker van de ventilator uit de
voeding genomen is, alvorens u het beschermingsrooster
verwijdert.

BESCHRIJVING VAN DE ONDERDELEN
Het apparaat bestaat uit de volgende hoofdonderdelen:
1. Hoofdeenheid (beschermooster + ventilatorblad)

4. USB-laadaansluiting
5. Handvat
6. Voetstuk
7. USB-kabel
OPLADEN
1. Sluit een uiteinde van de USB-kabel aan op de laadaansluiting van het apparaat en sluit het ander uiteinde
aan op de USB-poort van een computer of USB-poort van een DC5V USB-adapter of USB-voeding. Zorg dat
het stevig vastzit.
2. Het controlelampje knippert rood wanneer het apparaat wordt opgeladen. Het controlelampje brandt
continu rood zodra de batterij volledig is opgeladen.
INGEBRUIKNAME / WERKING
1. Druk eenmaal op de aan/uit/snelheid-schakelaar, het apparaat werkt op de lage snelheid; druk tweemaal,
het apparaat werkt op de medium snelheid; druk driemaal, het apparaat werkt op de hoge snelheid; druk
viermaal, het apparaat wordt uitgeschakeld. Het controlelampje brandt continu blauw wanneer het
apparaat in werking is.
2. U kunt het apparaat op drie verschillende manieren gebruiken.
1) Houd de ventilator in uw hand vast.
2) Laat de ventilator op zijn voetstuk staan.
3) Leg de ventilator op zijn linkerzijde, zoals in onderstaande afbeelding weergegeven.
Opmerking:
Om overbelasting van een USB-computerpoort te vermijden, sluit de ventilator niet aan op een USB-poort
dat reeds andere apparaten van stroom voorziet.
De ventilator is na ongeveer 4,5 uur volledig opgeladen. Overschrijd deze laadtijd niet om de batterij niet te
beschadigen en de levensduur van de ventilator niet te verkorten.
Wanneer volledig opgeladen kan de ventilator 5,5 uur op lage snelheid, 4 uur op medium snelheid of 3,5
uur op hoge snelheid worden gebruikt. (Tijd dient alleen ter referentie.)
REINIGEN
1. Voor reiniging van de ventilator en na elk gebruik, schakel het apparaat uit en ontkoppel het van de voeding.
2. Dompel het apparaat nooit in water onder (gevaar voor kortsluiting). Om het apparaat te reinigen, veegt
de ventilator met een vochtige doek af en laat u het zorgvuldig drogen.
3. Zorg ervoor dat er zich geen overmatig stof in het luchtin- en uitlaatrooster ophoopt en reinig dit regelmatig
met behulp van een droge borstel of stofzuiger.
4. Bewaar het apparaat in de originele verpakking en plaats het in een droge en goed geventileerde ruimte
wanneer u het langere tijd niet denkt te gebruiken.

RECYCLING
Dit apparaat draagt het symbool voor gescheiden inzameling van afgedankte elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur.
Het valt hierdoor onder de bepalingen van richtlijn 2012/19/EU die voorschrijft dat het
gerecycled dan wel ontmanteld moet worden teneinde het milieu te sparen.
U kunt u voor nadere inlichtingen wenden tot uw gemeente.
Elektronische producten die niet gescheiden worden ingezameld vormen een potentieel gevaar voor het
milieu en de volksgezondheid wegens de gevaarlijke stoffen die deze apparatuur bevat.
KWALITEIT
HEMA hecht grote waarde aan veiligheid en kwaliteit. We beschikken over een eigen laboratorium. Dit
laboratorium beoordeelt vóór opname in het assortiment, alle apparaten op elektrische veiligheid en
gebruikseigenschappen. Daarnaast bewaakt HEMA samen met de fabrikant de productkwaliteit.
BEVEILIGING
Het is mogelijk dat dit HEMA-artikel voorzien is van een kunststof beveiligingsstrip. U vindt de strip dan aan de
onderzijde van het apparaat. Deze strip heeft geen invloed op de kwaliteit of werkwijze van het artikel en kan
zonder problemen worden verwijderd.
STORINGEN EN REPARATIE
Bij een defect toestel, het apparaat ter reparatie aanbieden bij een Hema-vestiging.
Voer zelf geen reparaties uit aan het toestel.
Ingeval reparatie nodig is, kunt u het apparaat goed verpakt, bij voorkeur in de originele verpakking, inleveren
bij een Hema-vestiging. Indien binnen de garantietermijn, de garantiebon meebrengen.
GARANTIE
Garantietermijn is 2 jaar na de datum van aankoop. Bewaar altijd goed uw bon. Het is handig als u een foto van
de bon maakt en deze ergens opslaat. Dan heeft u altijd een goed leesbare bon in het bezit.
GARANTIEBEPALINGEN
HEMA-kwaliteitsgarantie
HEMA garandeert dat het door u gekochte artikel aan de kwaliteit en eigenschappen voldoet die u ervan mag
verwachten. Deze garantiebepalingen gelden onverminderd de wettelijke rechten van de klant en zijn van
toepassing in alle landen waar HEMA-vestigingen heeft.
Aanspraak op garantie
Als u aanspraak wenst te maken op garantie dan dient u het artikel samen met het aankoopbewijs in een van
onze vestigingen aan te bieden. De betreffende vestiging bepaalt dan of het artikel (door hetzelfde of een
gelijkwaardig artikel) wordt vervangen, binnen een redelijke termijn wordt gerepareerd of u uw
aankoopbedrag terugkrijgt.
Verval van garantie
De garantie op het artikel vervalt indien het gebrek of defect is veroorzaakt door:
a) normale slijtage;
b) een gebeurtenis van buitenaf (bijvoorbeeld zand-, val- of vochtschade);
c) verkeerd of oneigenlijk gebruik; of
d) achterstallig of onjuist onderhoud, waaronder mede wordt verstaan een reparatie die niet op initiatief
van HEMA is verricht.

Extra zekerheid voor een goede keus
U mag het artikel binnen 30 dagen na aanschaf (mits onbeschadigd en met aankoopbewijs) ruilen of

éviter des blessures, un incendie et la détérioration de
l’appareil. Avant de l’utiliser pour la première fois, lisez
attentivement et intégralement cette notice d’utilisation, et
soyez attentif aux consignes de sécurité et instructions
présentes sur l’appareil.
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ IMPORTANTES

1. Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés de 8 ans
et plus et les personnes ayant des capacités physiques,
sensorielles ou mentales, ou un manque d'expérience et de
connaissances si elles ont été formées et encadrées pour
l'utilisation de cet appareil en toute sécurité et de
comprendre la risques impliqués. Les enfants ne doivent
pas jouer avec l'appareil. Le nettoyage et la maintenance ne
doivent pas être effectués par des enfants sans
surveillance.
2. Cet appareil ne doit être alimenté qu'avec une tension très
basse de sécurité correspondant au marquage présent sur
l’appareil.
3. L’usage incorrect de cet appareil peut provoquer la

4. Débranchez toujours la fiche USB après l’avoir
complètement rechargé et avant de le nettoyer. Pour le
débrancher, assurez-vous de saisir la fiche USB et non le
câble.
5. Veillez à ce que le câble USB ne pende pas sur des arêtes
vives et maintenez-le éloigné des objets chauds et des
flammes nues.
6. N'immergez pas l'appareil ou le câble dans de l'eau ou un
autre liquide. Il y a un danger de choc électrique mortel !
7. Ne branchez pas et ne débranchez pas l’appareil du port
USB avec les mains mouillées.
8. N’essayez pas d’ouvrir le boîtier de l’appareil ni de réparer
l’appareil vous-même. Cela peut provoquer un choc
électrique.
9. Ne jamais laisser l’appareil sans surveillance en cours
d’utilisation.
10. Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour un usage commercial.
11. N’utilisez pas l’appareil à un usage autre que celui prévu.
12. Tenir l’appareil à l’abri de l’humidité et le protéger des
éclaboussures.
13. Conserver l’appareil dans un endroit sec, hors de la portée
des enfants (dans son emballage).
14. Ne jamais placer les doigts ou autres objets à travers les
grilles (grilles de protection) lorsque le ventilateur
fonctionne.
15. N’utilisez jamais le produit sans ses grilles assemblées, car
cela pourrait provoquer de graves blessures corporelles.
16. Attention aux cheveux longs! Ceux-ci pourraient se coincer
dans le ventilateur en raison des mouvements d’air.
17. Ne pas diriger le flux d’air vers des personnes pendant de
longues périodes.
18. Assurez-vous que la fiche USB du ventilateur est
débranchée du secteur avant de retirer la grille.

COMMENT RECHARGER
1. Connectez une extrémité du câble USB à la prise de charge de l'appareil et l’autre extrémité au port USB de
l'ordinateur ou à un autre port USB de l'adaptateur CC5V USB. Assurez-vous qu'il est solidement branché.
2. L'appareil commence à se charger, le voyant clignote en rouge. Lorsque la batterie est pleine, le voyant reste
rouge.
PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
1. Appuyez une fois sur le bouton marche/arrêt/vitesse, l’appareil fonctionne à la vitesse basse. Appuyez deux
fois, l’appareil fonctionne à la vitesse moyenne. Appuyez trois fois, l’appareil fonctionne à la vitesse haute.
Appuyez quatre fois, l’appareil s’éteint. Lorsque l'appareil fonctionne, le voyant est toujours bleu.
2. Vous pouvez utiliser l’appareil de trois manières :
1) Tenez le ventilateur à la main.
2) Placez le ventilateur dans sa base.
3) Placez le ventilateur sur son côté gauche, comme illustré ci-dessous.
Remarque :
Pour éviter la surcharge d’un port USB de l’ordinateur, ne branchez pas le ventilateur dans un port USB
alimentant d’autres appareils électriques.
Le ventilateur sera complètement chargé en 4,5 heures environ. Ne dépassez pas cette durée de charge car
vous risqueriez d’endommager la batterie et de réduire la durée de vie du ventilateur.
Une fois complètement chargé, le ventilateur peut être utilisé pendant 5,5 heures en faible vitesse, ou 4
heures en vitesse moyenne, ou 3,5 heures en vitesse élevée. (Les indications de durée servent comme
référence uniquement).
NETTOYAGE
1. Avant d’entretenir le ventilateur et après chaque utilisation, éteignez-le et débranchez-le.
2. Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau (danger de court-circuit). Pour nettoyer l’appareil, essuyez
simplement le ventilateur avec un chiffon humide, puis séchez-le soigneusement.
3. Veiller à ce qu’aucun excédent de poussière ne s’accumule dans la grille d’entrée ou de sortie d’air et la
nettoyer de temps à autre à l’aide d’une brosse sèche ou d’un aspirateur.
4. Rangez l’appareil dans sa boîte d’origine et placez-le dans un endroit sec et bien aéré pendant toute période
d’inutilisation prolongée.

SÉCURITÉ
Il est possible que cet article HEMA soit pourvu d’une bande de protection en plastique. Cette bande se trouve
en dessous de l’appareil. Elle n’a aucune influence sur la qualité ou le fonctionnement de l'article et peut être
enlevée sans problème.
RÉPARATION
Si une réparation est nécessaire, vous pouvez rapporter l’appareil, bien emballé, dans un magasin HEMA. S’il est
toujours sous garantie, il doit être accompagné du bon de garantie et du bon d’achat. Vous pouvez porter votre
appareil à réparer dans tous les magasins HEMA. Vérifiez régulièrement si le cordon n’est pas abîmé. Lorsque le
cordon est abîmé, faites réparer l’appareil dans un magasin Hema. Ne pas remplacer le cordon soi-même. Pour
des raisons de sécurité, il est conseillé de ne pas réparer soi-même des appareils électriques.
GARANTIE
La période de garantie est de 2 ans à compter de la date d'achat. Gardez toujours votre reçu dans un endroit
sûr. C’est pratique de prendre une photo du reçu et de l’enregistrer quelque part. Vous avez alors toujours sur
vous un reçu facile à lire.
CLAUSES DE GARANTIE

HEMA garantit que l'article que vous avez acheté satisfait à la qualité et aux caractéristiques que vous pouvez en

Réclamation au titre de la garantie

Annulation de la garantie

damages to the device itself. Before you use it for the first time,
please read through this instruction manual carefully and pay
attention to the safety guidelines and instructions printed on
the device.
IMPORTANT SAFETY GUIDELINES

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning

7. Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the USB port with
a wet hand.
8. Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance, or to
repair the appliance yourself. This could cause electric
shock.
9. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
10. This appliance is not designed for commercial use.
11. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
12. Keep the appliance away from damp, and protect from
splashes.
13. Keep the appliance in a dry place for storage, inaccessible
to children (in its packaging).
14. Never put fingers or any other objects through the fan
guards when the fan is running.
15. Never operate the product without the fan guards in place,
as serious personal injury may result.
16. Watch out for long hair! It can be caught in the fan owing
to the air turbulence.
17. Do not point the air flow at people for a long time.
18. Ensure that the USB plug of the fan is removed from the
supply mains before removing the guard.

The device consists of the following main components:

HOW TO CHARGE
1. Connect one end of the USB cable to the charge jack of the appliance, and another end to the USB port of
the computer or other DC5V USB adaptor port. Be sure it fits tightly.
2. The appliance begins to charge, the indicator light will flash red. When the battery is full, the indicator light
will be still in red.
FIRST USE / OPERATION
1. Press the on/off/speed switch once, the appliance will work on low speed; press twice, the appliance will
work on middle speed; press three times, the appliance will work on high speed; press four times, the
appliance will be off. When the appliance is working, the indicator light is still in blue.
2. You can use the appliance in three ways:
1) Hold the fan in hand.
2) Stand the fan in its base.
3) Make the fan lie on its left side as below picture shows.
Note:
To prevent overloading a USB-computer port, do not plug the fan into a USB port that is servicing other
electrical needs.
The fan will be fully charged in 4.5 hours approximately. Do not exceed this length of time for charging as
you may damage the battery and shorten the lifespan of the fan.
After fully charged, the fan can be used for 5.5 hours in low speed, or 4 hours in middle speed, or 3.5 hours

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before servicing the fan and after each occasion of use, switch off the appliance and unplug the appliance.
2. Never immerse the appliance in water (danger of short-circuit). To clean the appliance, only wipe the fan
down with a damp cloth and then dry it carefully.
3. Take care that excessive dust does not build up in the air-intake and air-outlet grille, and clean it occasionally
using a dry brush or vacuum cleaner.
4. Pack the appliance in its original box and place it in a dry, well-ventilated place when it is not to be used for
a long period of time.

RECYCLING

QUALITY
Safety and quality is very important to HEMA. We have our own laboratory, which assesses all equipment in
terms of electrical safety and ease of use, before it is included in our range. HEMA also monitors the product
quality in collaboration with the manufacturer.
SECURITY
This HEMA item may be fitted with a plastic anti-theft strip. You will find the strip on the bottom of the product.
This strip does not influence the quality or the operation of the product and can be removed without a problem.
FAULTS AND REPAIRS
If this device needs to be repaired, you can hand it in at a HEMA branch after packing the product securely. Do
not try to repair this product yourself. For repairs that fall within the warranty period, you will need to show a
proof of purchase and the warranty document. Regularly check the power cord for damage. If there is any
damage to the cord set, please return the item to a HEMA branch for repair. Do not try to replace it yourself.
For safety reasons we recommend that you do not carry out any repairs to an electrical device yourself.
WARRANTY
The warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase. Always keep your receipt in a safe place. It’s handy if
you take a picture of the receipt and save it somewhere. Then you will always have an easy-to-read receipt in
your possession.

in terms of quality and product properties. These warranty conditions do not affect your statutory or consumer

Warranty claims
If you wish to make a warranty claim, please return the product with proof of purchase to one of our stores. The
store will determine whether to replace the product (with an identical or equivalent product), accept the product
for repair within a reasonable period of time or refund the price of the product.
Invalidation of warranty
The warranty on this article is invalidated if the fault or defect is caused by:
a) normal wear and tear
b) external damage (for example, damage caused by exposure to sand or moisture or due to falling of the
product, etc.)
c) improper or inappropriate use
d) overdue or incorrect maintenance, including repairs that were not authorised by HEMA
The above list does not exclude other possible reasons for defects not being covered by the warranty.

18. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der USB-Stecker des Ventilators
von der Stromquelle getrennt ist, bevor Sie das Schutzgitter
abnehmen!
