AUTO SAFETY SHUT-OFF WITH CERAMIC
CONTROL
Thisheaterisequippedwithapatented,technologically
advanced,safetysystemthatrequirestheusertoreset
theheaterifthereisapotentialoverheatsituation.When
apotentialoverheattemperatureisreached,thesystem
willautomaticallyshuttheheateroff.Itcanonlyresume
operationwhentheuserresetstheunit.Forspecificreset
instructionspleaserefertotheunit.
Tip-over Shut-off (for HFH111T only):
Whentheunitisaccidentallyknockedover,itwillshut
off.Toreset,simplyplacetheheaterinanupright
positiononalevelsurface.
To Reset the Heater (for HFH110 and WF110
only):
1. TurnMODEtoOFF.
2. Unplugunit,wait30minutes.
3. PluginagainandturnON.

PRE-OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Carefullyremoveyourheaterfromthebox.Please
savethecartonforoff-seasonstorage.
2. MakesuretheunitisintheOFFpositionbefore
pluggingtheheaterintotheoutlet.
3. Placeheateronfirmlevelsurface.
4. Avoidoverloadingyourcircuitbynotusingother
highwattageappliancesinthesameoutlet.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. TurntheSelectorControltodesiredheatsettingLO
orHI.
2. Forfan-onlyoperation,withoutanyheatoutput,turn
theSelectorControltotheFANsetting.
3. ThePowerLightwillremainlitduringoperation.
SETTING THE THERMOSTAT
(FOR HFH111 AND HFH111T ONLY)
1. YouneedtosetthermostatonHItostartheater(See
Figure1).Allowheatertooperateandwarmupthe
room.
2. Whenthedesiredtemperature/comfortlevelis
reached,lowerthethermostatsettinguntilthe
fan/heaterstopsoperating.
3. Thecontrolwillnowautomaticallymaintainthepre-
settemperaturelevelbyturningtheheaterONand
OFF.
NOTE: ItisnormalfortheheatertocycleONandOFFas
itmaintainsthepresettemperature.Topreventtheunit
fromcycling,youneedtoraisethethermostatsetting.
CLEANING/MAINTENANCE
• Alwaysunplugtheheaterbeforecleaning.
• Lightlyrunavacuumcleanernozzleovertheheater
grilltoremoveanydustordirtthatmayhave
accumulated.
• Carefullywipetheheaterwithasoft,dampcloth.
Pleasebeverycautiousnearthemotorandheating
elements.
• NEVERuseabrasiveorflammablesolventstoclean
theheater.
• Aftercleaning,besuretocompletelydrytheheater
withaclothortowel.
• Storeyourheaterinitsoriginalcartoninacool,dry
location.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If your heater fails to operate, unplug
the heater and:
• Makesuretheelectricaloutletandcircuitbreaker
areworking.
• Checkforobstructions.Ifyoufindanobstruction,
turnOFFandUNPLUGtheheater.Carefullyremove
theobstructionandfollowtheresetinstructions.
• Checkthethermostatsetting;itmightbesettoolow.
Turnthethermostatdialclockwiseuntiltheheater
restarts.
• MakesuretheModeControlisinLoorHisetting.
