Shut off gas to the appliance.
Extinguish any open flame.
If odor continues, keep away from the appliance and
immediately call your gas supplier or fire department.

please carefully read this entire manual. Failure to do so may
result in a fire, explosion, injury or death. This appliance can produce carbon monoxide which has no
odor. Using it in an enclosed space can kill you. Never use
this appliance in an enclosed space such as a camper, tent,
car or home.

flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any
other appliance. A propane cylinder not connected for use
shall not be stored in the vicinity of this or any other

WARNING: The installation of this unit must adhere to local
codes or Propane Storage and Handling Code, CSA B149.2.
WARNING: THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY!
This product shall be used outdoors, in a ventilated space
and shall not be used in any enclosed area.
WARNING: This unit is to be used with propane gas only!
(sold separately)
WARNING: Do not attach a remote gas supply to this unit.
WARNING: Only use propane gas for this unit.
WARNING: Solid fuels shall not be burned in this appliance.
WARNING: When igniting this unit, stay away from the
burner as the flame will light up and may cause injury.
WARNING: If the propane gas tank is leaking gas, you may
see or smell it, or hear a hiss. Do the following:
Disconnect the propane gas tank.
Do not attempt to fix the problem yourself.
Contact your gas supplier or fire department for help.
WARNING: Applying too much propane may result in gas
pooling and will not burn. Allow fresh air into the unit so
that the remaining gas may escape.
WARNING: Do not use a flame to check for gas leaks.
WARNING: Manifold pressure: 11 inch w.c. (2.74kPa).
WARNING: Use propane tanks with the following dimensions:
12 in. diameter, 18 in. height and 20-lb capacity.
WARNING: You must use a propane tank that has a collar to
protect the gas valve.
WARNING: DO NOT fll tank over 80 percent full.
WARNING: The tank system must be set up for vapor
withdrawal.
WARNING: Discontinue use if any part of the propane tank is
damaged.
WARNING: Rust and dents may be hazardous and should be
inspected by a gas supplier.
WARNING: Do not burn anything other than the provided
materials for this patio heater.
WARNING: Do not operate unit until all parts are fully
assembled.
WARNING: Do not paint or color any part of this heating
unit.
WARNING: Unit may be hot while in use, do not attempt to
move it while in use.
WARNING: Never leave this heating unit unattended while in
use.
WARNING: This unit is not intended for cooking.
WARNING: Keep any flammable items away.
WARNING: Keep a safe distance to avoid burning skin or
clothing.
WARNING: Do not sit or rest hands or feet on this heating
unit.
WARNING: Never place hands or fingers on upper portion of
this unit while in use.
WARNING: Keep all electrical cords and fuel supply hose
away from heated surfaces.
WARNING: Combustible material should not be within 24
inches of the top of the unit, or within 36 inches around the
entire unit.
WARNING: Keep the appliance area clear and free from
combustible material, gasoline and other flammable vapors
and liquids.

WARNING: If the flame goes out while burning, turn the gas
valve off.
WARNING: Wait for 5 minutes before repeating the initial
lighting procedure.
WARNING: Once you have a flame started, hold down the
control knob for 1 minute.
WARNING: Do not operate unit if any part has been under
water. Immediately call a qualified service technician to
inspect the appliance and replace any part of the control
system and any gas control that has been under water.
WARNING: Do not disconnect any part while unit is in use.
WARNING: Do not store a spare propane tank on or near this
unit.
WARNING: If the heating unit is indoors, detach the propane
tank and leave outdoors.
WARNING: Do not operate on a boat or vehicle. This unit
must be used on a flat surface and outdoors ONLY.
WARNING: Always remove protective cover before operating
(if applicable).
WARNING: Do not set the protective cover over the unit
until it is turned off and completely cooled down.
WARNING: Check for leaks after not using the unit for long
periods of time.
WARNING: Children should never operate this unit. Children
must be supervised while near this unit.
WARNING: Keep gas tank at least 5 ft away from unit when
lit (if external tank).
WARNING: The maximum gas supply pressure is 250 psi.
Min. gas supply: 10 psi.
WARNING: All installation and repair should be done by a
qualifed professional. This unit should be inspected annually
and cleaned regularly.
WARNING: Inspect all elements of this heating unit before
each use. If there is damage, the burner must be replaced.
WARNING: Be aware of the hazards of high temperatures
and stay away from the unit to avoid any burns or injury.
WARNING: The gas supply tank should be constructed and
marked with the specifcations for the LP gas tanks of the
U.S. Department of Transportation or the National Standard
of Canada CAN/CSA-B339, Cylinder, Spheres and Tubes for
Transportation of Dangerous Goods; and Commission.
WARNING: The LP gas tank must have a listed overflling
prevention device and a QCCI or Type I, (CGA791) LP gas
tank connection.
WARNING: This heating appliance should not be used on
plastic or artifcial wood decks.
WARNING: Children and adults should be alerted to the
hazards of high surface temperatures and should stay away
to avoid burns or clothing ignition.
WARNING: Young children should be carefully supervised
when they are in the area of the appliance.
WARNING: Clothing or other flammable materials should not
be hung from the appliance or placed on or near the
appliance.
WARNING: Any guard or other protective device removed
for servicing the appliance shall be replaced prior to
operating the appliance.
WARNING: Installation and repair should be done by a
qualifed service person.
WARNING: The appliance should be inspected before use and
at least annually by a qualifed service person.
WARNING: More frequent cleaning may be required as
necessary.
WARNING: It is imperative that the control compartment,
burners and circulating airways of the appliance are kept
clean.
WARNING: Storage of an appliance indoors is permissible
only if the cylinder is disconnected and removed from the
appliance.
WARNING: A cylinder must be stored outdoors in a
well-ventilated area out of the reach of children.
WARNING: A disconnected cylinder must have dust caps
tightly installed and must not be stored in a building, garage
or any other enclosed area.

NOTE: You must follow all steps to properly assemble
this heating item. Make sure the gas valve is turned
‘OFF’ before assembling. Do NOT attempt to assemble
without proper tools.
WARNING: Be careful when certain materials or
items are stored above, beside or under this
heater while in use, they will be subject to radiant
heat and could be seriously damaged.
Combustible materials should not be within 24 inches of the
top of the unit, or within 36 inches around the entire unit.

WHAT IS COVERED
If within one year from the date of original purchase, this item fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, we will replace or repair at
our option, free of charge.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty does not cover defects resulting from improper or abnormal use, misuse, accident, or alteration. Failure to follow all
instructions in the owner’s manual will also void this warranty. The manufacturer will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages,
or common erosion of outdoor products. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and
you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

WARNING: Place the dust cap on the cylinder valve outlet
whenever the cylinder is not in use. Only install the type of
dust cap on the cylinder valve that is provided with the
cylinder valve. Other types of caps or plugs may result in
leakage of propane.
WARNING: Installation of this appliance at altitudes above
2000 ft (610 m) shall be in accordance with local codes, or
in the absence of local codes, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54 or CSA
B149.1.
WARNING: Appliance may shut down in windy conditions in
excess of 3 miles per hour (4.83 kilometers per hour).
WARNING: Only use the regulator and hose assembly
provided with this unit. Replacement parts must be
supplied directly by manufacturer.

burner shows any kind of damage, do not operate the
