
6. Add the new device to the programme by pressing the „+” button.
• Select the type of the device: „Heater”.
• Press the „Finish network configuration” button.
• Keep holding the button of the device for more than 5 seconds, till it beeps.
• Tick the check box out, and press „Next: Connect device with Wi-Fi” button.
• Enter the Wi-Fi password, than press the „Confirm” button.
• Keep holding the button of the device for more than 5 seconds, till it beeps.
The unit will connect to the cloud-based application.
7. If the connection which has been described in point 6 was not successful, then „Failed to add” label will appear.
• Select the „Add device with other methods” option.
• Keep holding the button of the device for more than 5 seconds, till it beeps.
• Press the „Finish network configuration” button.
• Tick the check box out, and press „Next: Connect device with Wi-Fi” button
• Enter the Wi-Fi password, than press the „Confirm” button.
• Select the „Connect now” option on the appearing „Connect phone to device’s wifi hotspot” screen.
• Keep holding the button of the device for more than 5 seconds, till it beeps, till the „SmartLife-8266” network appears among WLAN networks.
Select this for connection. If the status is „Connected”, then press the button for step back on the phone.
• The „Connecting now” screen will pass off, and the device has connected to the cloud based application.
8. You can see the ambient temperature of the room through the application, you can turn on/off the device, you can select low (Low) or high (High)
heating stage, and you can activate the child lock, set the timer of on/off switching, and furthermore you can set the thermostat as well.
In the event of overheating, the overheating protection function will switch off the unit, for example when the air inlets and outlets are covered.
Power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet. Allow the appliance to cool (for at least 30 minutes). Check whether the air inlets and outlets
are obstructed or not, and clean them if necessary. Install the unit again. If the overheating protection activates again, power off the unit by unplugging
it from the electric outlet and contact the service facility.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
In order to ensure optimum functioning, the unit may require cleaning at least once a month, depending on the manner of use and degree of
contamination.
1. Switch off and power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet before cleaning.
2. Allow the appliance to cool down (for at least 30 minutes).
3. Clean the protective grill using a vacuum cleaner equipped with a brush accessory.
4. Use a slightly moistened cloth to clean the unit's outer surface. Do not use any aggressive cleaners. Avoid getting water inside of and on the electric
components of the appliance!
TROUBLESHOOTING
Waste equipment must not be collected separately or disposed of with household waste because it may contain components hazardous to
the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells
equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you
will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management
organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any
associated costs arising.
