HRDE4X4 Front Panel Operator Guide

Only audio from the selected camera will
be heard. The Audio Out connection on
the back of the unit must be connected
to an amplified speaker to hear audio.
In single channel view only:
Press SEQ to automatically cycle
through each camera view.
Press SEQ again to stop cycling.
Press numbered arrow
key 1 – 4 to select and
display camera 1 – 4.
Press SEL to display 4
(quad) cameras
Press
Timeline Search is easiest.
Use Go To if you know the approximate incident time.
Use Event Search for motion or alarm video.
Use arrow keys
to select the
search method
To change the month, press
__REW,FF``. Days colored
red have saved video.
Use arrow keys to select the
day to play. Press SEL.
Use arrow keys to move
the vertical yellow bar to
the Hour and Minute to
play back. Press SEL.
Red line = Video recorded
Green line = Audio recorded

Select one
camera to
play. Audio is
only heard for

5A Locate an incident (steps 2, 3, 4).
Display a single camera to Archive.
Press ARCH, select STILL or VIDEO.
You will see the message VIDEO OK.
Press ESC to return to the Search screen.
5B Put USB Memory stick in the front panel.
Select ARCHIVE search and press SEL.
Select the day of the incident and press SEL.
Highlight the clip/still image name.
Press SEL to play.
Press ARCH, select YES to save.
When finished you will see the message SAVE SUCCESS.

Put the USB Stick in a Windows PC.
Double-click the AVI file to launch it.
Use Windows Media Player to play the clip.
The folder uses a YearMonthDay name
(20060203 = 2006 February 03).
The file uses a HourMinSecCamera name
(130808C1 = Starts at 13:08:08 Camera 1).
Playback using VCR-like controls.
Single images are saved in JPG format and
can be viewed with Internet Explorer.
AVI files are played with Windows Media Player.
It may be necessary to install a CODEC on your PC to play clips.
