► Nach dem Einbau / after the installation
Mach dich auf eine Testfahrt und prüfe ob durch den Einbau der horntools Komponente keine ungewollten
Geräusche entstanden sind oder sich das Fahrverhalten anderweitig geändert hat. Make a test drive with the car
and check that no unwanted noise or other unwanted changes in the cars driveability or behaviour have occurred
since you’ve installed the horntools components.
Prüfe vor dem Einbau ob der Lieferumfang komplett ist und alle Teile unbeschädigt sind.
Sollten Teile fehlen oder beschädigt sein kontaktiere bitte deinen horntools Händler und warte mit dem
Einbau des Systems bis alle Teile unbeschädigt bei dir sind.

If something is missing or damaged contact your horntools dealer and don’t start the installation.

1. Im ersten Schritt muss das originale Trittbrett demontiert werden. Dafür müssen die Schraub-
verbindungen, pro Seite je 6 stück, gelöst werden. Die Schrauben / Muttern benden sich an den
markierten Positionen (Abb. 1), jeweils an der Unterseite des Fahrzeuges.
First, the original side step must be demounted. For this, you have to unscrew the 6 bolts/nuts per
sidestep. The bolted connections are located at the marked positions (Abb. 1), on the underside of the
vehicle.

2. Im nächsten Schritt werden die jeweiligen Haltern lose mit den Rockslidern verschraubt Abb. 2.
Verwende bei allen Schraubverbindung eine Schraubensicherung (Loctite 243 o. Ä.).
• HTOHIRSA01_bracket_front = vorderer Halter
• HTOHIRSA01_bracket_mid = mittlerer Halter
• HTOHIRSA01_bracket_rear = hinterer Halter
In the next step, the respective holders are loosely screwed to the rock sliders Abb. 2. Use a
threadlocker (Loctite 243 or similar) for all bolted connections.
• HTOHIRSA01_bracket_front = front bracket
• HTOHIRSA01_bracket_mid = middle bracket
• HTOHIRSA01_bracket_rear = rear bracket

3. Der neue Rockslider wird an den exakt selben Punkten (Schritt 1 u. Abb.3-5) wieder montiert.
The new Rockslider is mounted at the exact same points (step 1 and Abb.3-5).

5. Jetzt können die 4 Trittstufen, an den vorgesehenen Gewindebohrungen, platziert und verschraubt
werden.
Now the 4 entry steps can be placed and screwed to the provided tapped holes.
4. Die Muttern u. Schrauben ansetzen und laut Drehmomenttabelle (letzte Seite) festziehen.
Place the nuts and tighten them according to the torque table down (last page).
6. Bevor das Fahrzeug bewegt wird, kontrolliere ob alle Schraubverbindungen laut Drehmomenttabelle
festgezogen sind.
Before driving the vehicle, check that all bolted connections are tightened according to the torque table
