Safety Guidelines.
> Avoid storing your USB modem in extreme temperatures.
> Store your USB modem in a dry and clean environment.
> Avoid spilling any liquid or immersing your USB modem in water.
> Do not place any labels on your USB modem or the SIM card as this could
interfere with the USB modem or SIM card slot when inserting.
> Do not force the USB modem into the USB port.
Warranty Information.
This warranty does not affect any other rights and remedies in respect of the
USB modem, which you as a consumer may have under the Trade Practices Act
and similar State and Territory laws.
Provided that you use your USB modem according to the Terms and Conditions
and the User Guide, you will have a 12 month warranty for defective product
from the date of purchase. During the warranty period 3 will provide a
replacement product after 3 have veried that the product qualies for warranty
services. If you have a warranty claim within the 12 month period your USB
modem will be replaced as there are no repair facilities.
If 3 replaces the product, the replaced product will have a similar warranty for
the remaining time of the original warranty period or for three months from the
date of replacement, whichever is longer.
This warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser and is not assignable
or transferable to any subsequent purchaser. Except for liabilities that cannot
be excluded by law, 3 is not under any liability to you in respect of any loss or
damage, including consequential loss or damage, howsoever caused which may
be suffered or incurred, or which may arise in respect of the USB modem.
This warranty does not cover:
> Defects or damages from misuse, abnormal conditions, improper storage,
exposure to moisture or dampness, modications, unauthorised repairs,
neglect, abuse, accidents, alteration, improper installation, blown fuses, food
or liquid spillage, acts of God, scratches or damage caused by normal use.
> Defects from the use of USIMs other than the USIM provided.
> Products that have had the serial number removed or defaced.
> Inability of the product to function, whether partially or wholly caused by
alteration or abnormality in 3’s network.
> Transportation costs associated with sending the defective product to and or
receiving the replacement product from 3.
> For warranty service, you must present the product along with the original
