Preparation
RequirementsfortheComputer
TousetheE156C,the computershouldmeetthefollowingrequirements:
nUSB TypeAReceptacle,Compatible with USB 2.0HighSpeed.
nWindows2000SP4,WindowsXPSP2,WindowsVista.
nYour computershardwaresystemshouldmeetorexceedthe recommended
system requirementsfortheinstalledversionof OS.
nResolutionforthe display: 800 ×600orabove.
GettingYourE156CReady
1. Removethe USIM/SIMcardslotfromthe E156C.
2. Insert the USIM/SIMcardintothecardslot.
3. Insert the cardslotintotheE156C.

InsertingtheMicroSDCard(Optional)
Insert the microSDcardintotheE156C,asshowninthe followingfigure.
Note:
Donotremovethe microSDcardwhen itisbeingused.Removingthecardduring
an operationmay damagethe microSDcardaswell asthe device,anddata
storedonthecardmaybe corrupted.

Ondifferentoperatingsystems(OSs),the installationandremovalprocedures
may differ.Followthe systempromptsduringoperation.
ConnectingtheE156Cwith aComputer
Note:
First,poweronthecomputer.ThenconnecttheE156C with the computer.
Otherwise,theE156C cannotbe installedasnormal.
1. Plugthe E156Cintothe USB interface ofthe laptopordesktopcomputer.
Youcanconnectthe E156CtoalaptopordesktopcomputerusingtheUSBcable
forbettersignals.

2. The OS automatically detectsandrecognisesnewhardware andstartsthe
installationwizard.
3. Followthe promptsoftheinstallationwizard.
4. Afterthe program isinstalled,ashortcuticonfortheE156Cmanagement
programisdisplayedonthedesktop.
StartingtheManagementProgram
AftertheE156Cisinstalled,themanagement programislaunchedautomatically.
Theneverytime the E156C isconnectedtothePC,the managementprogramis
launchedautomatically.
Youcanalsodouble-click the shortcuticononthe desktoptolaunchthe
management program.
RemovingtheE156C
Removethe E156Cdirectly.

2. Click ControlPanel.
3. Click Add/RemoveProgram toremove the managementprogram ofthe
