Driver Assembly
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS: Make certain electricity is OFF before beginning maintenance procedures.
1. For opening and closing of the fixture, refer to instructions and diagrams on other side of sheet.
2. A regularly scheduled maintenance program should be established to retain optimum light output and reduce heat
retention. Dusting with a soft, clean, dry cloth is normally sufficient for the Any accumulation of dust or dirt
should be removed regularly from both sides of the lens during maintenance (using ammonia water).
Do not use alkaline or acid cleaners on reflector surfaces.

DRIVER INSTALLATION
Make certain electricity is OFF before starting installation.
1. Grasp driver driver

assembly with both hands and hook it onto hanger hinges inside the compartment.
2. Join the disconnect plug halves between the socket and the assembly. Then join the disconnect plug halves
between the power lead-in and the ballast assembly.
3. Swing the assembly into the housing and retainer spring tabs (make sure both retainer spring tabs are engaged
and assembly is properly seated on hinges).

FIXTURE ATTACHMENT TO POLE:
Tools Required:
)lat %lade Screwdriver 3 32" $llen Wrench Torque Wrench Ratchet with N" - or 12-point deep socket
Make certain electrical power is OFF before starting installation.
1. Remove lens frame from fi[ture (see diagrams at above).
2. Lay pole horizontal on padded supports to protect finish.
3. Pull field wires through pole and out the top. Tie-wrap wires to pole backing plate. Tie field wires in a knot or back-
loop through tie-wrap.
4. Hold pole backing plate inside pole and thread draw bolts into plate. Slide support arm over draw bolts. NOTE: $rm
will have a circular cut end to fit a round pole.
.)eed fi[ture wires through armpole backing plateand out pole top. Mount fi[ture to arm (see diagram on front) using
washers and thin jam nuts torqued to -2ft.-lbs. Secure with thick nuts over jam nuts. Make sure fi[ture is square
with pole before raising pole.

1. Push up on lens frame and hold.
2. Pull latch lever up and out of
keeper.

3. &arefully move lens frame to a 1°
to 4° angle with fi[ture.
1. Push up on lens frame
to seat gasket.
2. Push latch lever toward keeper.
3. Leverage latch onto keeper.

REMOVING AND REPLACING OF GLASS LENS:
1. In the event the glass lens or lexan shield should need replacing, remove the lens frame (see diagrams on other side of
sheet) and lay it on a padded surface.
2. Insert the tip of a large flat blade screwdriver under the lens clip legs and twist to remove (see diagram, below).
3. Remove all the broken pieces of glass and make sure no glass fragments remain on top of the lens gasket.
4. Lay the new lens on top of gasket and install the new lens clips by applying pressure, first by fingers and then using a
small block of wood and tapping on clips until the spring legs open to half their depth (see diagram above).
5. Attach lens frame to housing, close and latch (see diagrams on page 2).
