SETTING UP THE INSTRUMENT STANDARDIZATION
2. Open the standards box and
place the black glass at the
port. Press GO.
3. Place the calibrated instrument
white tile at the port. Press GO.
1. Prior to standardizing, install the
sample cup port plate. Select
STANDARDIZE from the MAIN
MENU. Press GO.
Now your instrument is ready
for Standardization.
Now your instrument is ready
to Read Samples.
READING SAMPLES

5. Press DOWN arrow to SAVE the
reading to memory and PRINT
the reading to a USB printer.
1. Select READ from the MAIN MENU
and then press GO.
2. Press the UP/DOWN arrow to select
a setup from the list. Press GO to
continue.
3. Pour the processed tomato
product into a sample cup until
the cup is full. For best practice,
cover the sample cup with the
opaque cover. Press GO to
READ.
ABC
1. Connect the AC adapter to
the left port on the back of the
ColorFlex EZ Tomato sensor.
2. Plug the power cord into a wall
outlet.
3. If a printer or other USB device is
to be used, plug into one of the
two USB ports on the side of the
ColorFlex EZ.
5. (Optional) Using HunterLab’s
EasyMatch QC software to control
ColorFlex EZ Tomato
Connect the USB cable from the rear
Mini-B plugin on the ColorFlex EZ
to a standard USB plugin on the PC.
Load EasyMatch QC with CMR-3048
on the computer and connect to the
ColorFlex EZ as a sensor.
4. Turn on the ColorFlex EZ Tomato
by pressing GO ( )on the button
pad.

4. Press GO to read and the color
measurement will be displayed.
To view the next Tomato score, press
the UP arrow.
