SETTING UP THE INSTRUMENT

1. Press the DOWN arrow to select
STANDARDIZE from the MAIN
MENU. Press GO to select.
2. Remove the end cap of the
calibration cylinder that covers
the black glass (or light trap). Press
the nose cone ush againsts the
standard. Press GO to read.
3. Place the calibrated instrument
white tile at the port. Press GO.
4. When the standardization is
complete return to the MAIN MENU.
Now your instrument is ready
for Standardization.
Now your instrument is ready
to Read Samples.
5. Press DOWN arrow to SAVE the
reading to memory and PRINT the
reading to a USB printer.
1. Select READ from the MAIN MENU
and then press GO.
3. Place the standard or sample to be
measured at the port. Make sure
the item is at against the port and
completely covers it.
4. Press GO to read and the color
measurement will be displayed.
1. Install the 6 AA batteries into
the MiniScan EZ battery
compartment and close.
2. Activate the MiniScan EZ by
pressing the center button on the
button pad.
3. (Optional) Using HunterLab’s
EasyMatch QC software to control
MiniScan EZ
Connect the USB cable from the rear
Mini-B plugin on the MiniScan EZ
to a standard USB plugin on the PC.
Load EasyMatch QC on the computer
and connect to the MiniScan EZ
as a sensor.
2. Press the UP/DOWN arrow to select
a setup from the list. Press GO to
continue.
