 Checkthatthecorrectlter
 cartridgeistted.
 Whenthelterisduetobechanged,
the colour changes from dark red to
 lightorange.

2. CHANGING THE CARTRIDGE
 Inordertoensurereliablefunction,
 theentirecartridgemustbereplaced.
2.1 REMOVING THE CARTRIDGE
1. Applyopen-jawwrenchtoext.hex.
(alternatively: strap wrench on
 bottomsection).
2. Unscrewltercartridgefromthe
 bottomsectionoftheBDE
 anticlockwiseusingastrapwrench.
3. Examinebottomsection,especially
 sealingsurfaces,formechanical
 damage.
2.2 CARTRIDGE INSTALLATION
1. Whenttinganewcartridge,check
that the designation corresponds to
 thatoftheoldcartridge.
2. Screwinthecartridgefully
 manually.
3. Thenturnthecartridgebackagain
 slightly(max.1/8turn).

4. MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
4.1 USER INSTRUCTIONS FOR
FILTERS
Notice
It is the responsibility of the
owner to comply with the
water regulations of the
country concerned.
Caution
Statutory accident prevention
regulations, safety
regulations and safety data
sheets for uids must be
observed.
Caution
When working on, or in the
vicinity of, hydraulic
systems, naked ames, spark
generation and smoking are
forbidden.
Caution
Hydraulic oils and water-
polluting uids must not be
allowed to enter the soil or
watercourses or sewer
systems. Please ensure safe
and environmentally friendly disposal
of hydraulic oils. The relevant
regulations in the country concerned
with regard to ground water pollution,
used oil and waste must be complied
with.
Caution
The maximum storage
duration of BDE lters/BDE
cartridges is 2 years!
The following conditions
must be provided by the
customer:
- dry storage
- cool storage (≤40 °C)
- protection from UV exposure
Not suitable for cleaning with
high-pressure cleaner!

4.3 MAINTENANCE MEASURES

manufacturer.
zThis is always guaranteed for original
HYDACspareparts.
zTools,workingareaandequipment
aretobekeptclean.
zAfterdisassemblingthelter,
cleanallparts,checkfordamageor
wearandreplacepartsifnecessary.
zWhenchangingalterelement,
ahighlevelofcleanlinessmustbe
observed!
4.4 INTERVAL BETWEEN ELEMENT
CHANGES
Whenthelterisduetobechanged,
thecolourchangesreliablyfromredto
lightorange.
