The Environmental Protection Agency ENERGY STARrComputers program is a partnership effort
with manufacturers of data processing equipment to promote the introduction of energy–efficient
personal computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, and copiers to help reduce air pollution and
global warming caused by electricity generation.
