Beforepermanentlyinstallingthesystem,pleasemakesurethewirefromtheKeypadunittotheMagneticsensorislongenough
foryourinstallation,andthattheoppositemagneticsensorcanbeinstalledwithaspacingofnomorethan1/4"inbetween.The
alarmwillsoundwhenthespacebetweenthe2sidesofthemagneticcontactiswiderthen½”
Testthesystemcompletelyfollowingtheseinstructionstoensurethattheunitfunctionscorrectlyandtoyoursatisfaction.

Thesystemcanbeusedinthefollowingsituations/applications
1. Towarnwhengatetopoolhasbeenopened.
2. Towarnwhenwindowordoorhasbeenopened.
3. Towarnwhenchildrenoradultshaveenteredarestrictedarea.


FUNCTION
Whenthesystemisarmed,ifthedoororgateisopened,a105dBloudalarmwillsoundfor10seconds,thencycleonandoffat10
secondintervals.Inordertostopthealarmyoumustenteryourpasscodeandpresstheon/offbuttontodisarmthesystem.
PressingthepasscodeandBY‐PASSwillprovideyouwith15secondstoopenthedoorwithoutsoundingthealarm.Thealarmwill
resetitselfautomaticallywithin5secondsafterthedoorisre‐closedwhentheby‐passfeatureisused.Whenactivated,thealarm
willsound(for10secondsat10secondintervals)untiltheunitisdisarmed,oruntilthebatteriesaredead.


1. Removebracket(Fig1),openthebatterycover(Fig2),install9Valkalinebatterysupplied(Fig3).






2. Oncethebatteryisinstalledthesystemwillsoundabeep,indicatingthebatterywasinstalledcorrectly.Replacebattery
coverbutnotthebracket,gotonextstep.

INSTALLATIONOFSYSTEM

1. Chooselocationfortheinstallation.Thecontrolunitshouldbeinstalledataminimumheightof54”,buthighenoughto
avoidthereachofyoungchildren.Makesurethesensorwireislongenoughtoreachbetweenthemainunitlocationand
theedgeofthegate/door/window.
2. Installingthebracket:usingtemplateprovidedtomarkdrillholes.Usinga1/4"drillbit,drillholes,insertplugs(mayneed
touseahammertogentlytapintheplugsforatightfit),thenplacebracketoverplugsandusingscrewsprovidedto
securebracket,slidingbracketdownonscrewsforasnugfit.(Fig.4)Placetheunitintobracketandinstallfrontscrew.

Tochangebatteryjustremovebottomfrontscrew,removeunit,changebattery,andreplaceunitbackinbracket.
3. Mountthewiredmagneticsensortothedoor/gate/windowframe,andtheothersensortotheedgeofthe
door/gate/windowbyusingthedoublesidedtapeprovided(Fig.5)(makesuresurfacetobemountedoniscleanbefore
installing)Thetwosensorarrowsmustbefacingeachother,alignedandnomorethan1/4"apart.Otherwiseyoumayget
falsetriggers.(Fig.6)



HOWTOUSE

1. Changefactorydefaultpasscodeof123.(3digitsonly)
a. MakesuretheunitisinOFF/DISARMmode.
b. Pressandholdthe[1]keyfor2seconds,theunitwillBEEP.Release.Youarenowinpasscodechange
mode.
c. Enteroldpass‐code,theunitwillsoundtwoBeeps(ifwrongnumberenteredtheunitwillmakeaDU
sound).Enteryournewpassword;theunitwillsoundthreeBeepstoletyouknowthechangewas
successful.Ifunitdoesnotbeepthreetimesrestartfromstep[a].
d. Ifyouforgetyourpassword,takebatteryoutforafulltwominutesandunitwillresettofactory
defaultof123.

ToARM,DISARMandusetheBY‐PASS.
Armingthesystem:Enteryourpasscodethenpress[ON/OFF],theunitwillBEEPthreetimesafter3
seconds.TheunitwillbearmedandtheLEDwillflashonceeverythreeseconds.Anyoneopeningthe
DOOR/WINDOW/GATEwithoutfirstenteringthepasscodewilltriggertheunitandthealarmwillsoundfor10
secondsandcycleonandoffevery10seconds.Evenifthedoorisreclosed,oncethealarmhasbeentriggered,the
unitmustbedisarmedorsettoBY‐PASStostopthealarm.

Todisarmthesystem:Inarmmodeenterpasscodethenpressthe[ON/OFF],theunitwillsoundalong
BEEP.Theunitisnowdisarmed.
TousetheBY‐PASSmode:Whenthealarmisarmed,ifyouwishtopassthroughtheDOOR/GATEwithout
disarmingtheunit,enterpasscodeandpressthe[by‐pass]button.Thiswilldisarmtheunitfor15seconds
allowingyoutopassthroughthegateordoorandcloseit.Ifthedoororgateremainsopenfor15secondstheunit
willsoundtwoloudBeepstoremindyouthatdoororgateisnotclosed.TheunitwillsoundtwoloudBeepsevery
15secondsifthedoororgateremainsopen.Oncethedoororgatehasbeenclosedtheunitwillrearmitselfwithin
5seconds.Ifthedoororgateisthenre‐openedwithoutapasscodethealarmwillsound.

ALARM
Whenunitisarmed,ifDOOR/WINDOW/GATEisopenedtheunitwillsoundalarm,youmustenteryour
passcodeandeitherthe[ON/OFF]or[BYPASS]buttontostopthealarm.Ifyoupressthe[ON/OFF]button
youmustremembertorearmtheunit:ifyoupressthe[BYPASS]buttontheunitwillrearmitselfwithin5
secondsifitdetectsthattheDOOR/WINDOW/GATEisclosed.
IfatanytimeyouenterawrongpasscodetheunitwillsoundtwoloudDEDEsounds:re‐enterpasscode.

LOWBATTERY

Whenbatteryislowtheunitwillflashoncepersecond.Replacebatteryimmediatelytomaintainprotection.


retardéede15secondes.Lorsqueladésactivationtemporaireestutilisée,l'alarmeseréarmeautomatiquementaprèscinq
secondesunefoislaporteouleportillonrefermé.Lorsquel'alarmeestdéclenchée,elleretentitpendant10secondesets'arrête

1. Choisirunendroitpourinstallerlesystème.Lesystèmedoitêtreplacéminimalementà54podusol,maisassezhautpour
êtrehorsdeportéedesjeunesenfants.Confirmerquelefildudétecteurestassezlongpourraccorderlesystèmeetle
borddelaporte,delafenêtreouduportillon.
2. Utiliserlemodèlefournipourindiquerlestrousàpercerpourinstallerlapattedefixation.Avecunemèchede1/4po,
percerlestrousetinsérerlesancrages(lesfrapperlégèrementavecunmarteaupourgarantirunajustementserré).

Placerlapattedefixationsurlesancragesetvisserlapatteaveclesvisfournies.Glisserlapattedefixationverslebassur
lesvispourgarantirunajustementserré(Fig.4).Placerlesystèmesurlapattedefixationetinstallerlavisavant.
Pourremplacerlapile,enleverlavisavantinférieure,dégagerlesystème,remplacerlapileetremettrelesystèmeenplace
surlapattedefixation.
3. Installerledétecteurmagnétiquecâblésurlecadredefenêtre,porteouportillonetl'autredétecteursurleborddela
fenêtre,delaporteouduportillonenutilisantlerubandoublefacefourni(Fig.5).(Confirmeraupréalablequelasurface
demontageestpropre.)Lesflèchessurlesdeuxcapteursdoiventêtreorientéesl'uneversl'autreetalignées.

toucheONOFFaétéenfoncée.LorsquelatoucheBYPASSaétéenfoncée,lesystèmeseréarmeraaprès
cinqsecondess'ildétectequelaporte,lafenêtreouleportillonestfermé.
Lesystèmeémetdeuxavertissementsfortslorsquelemauvaiscodeestentré.Entrerlecodeànouveau.

PILEFAIBLE

Lorsquelapileestfaible,levoyantclignoteunefoisparseconde.Remplacerimmédiatementlapilepournepas
interromprelaprotection.

