2 Safety instructions
• The device described is a subcomponent for integration into a system.
- The manufacturer is responsible for the safety of the system.

• Read this document before setting up the product and keep it during the entire
service life.
• The product must be suitable for the corresponding applications and environ-
mental conditions without any restrictions.
• Only use the product for its intended purpose (→ Functions and features).

3 Function and features
The pressure monitor detects the system pressure and generates 1 output signal.
• In case of increasing pressure the output closes when the Set1 value is rea-
ched.
• In case of decreasing pressure the output opens when the value „Set1 minus
hysteresis“ is reached.
The hysteresis is fixed (2% of value of measuring range).

Avoid static and dynamic overpressure exceeding the given overload
pressure.
Even if the bursting pressure is exceeded only for a short time the unit can
be destroyed (danger of injuries)!
If the cable length exceeds 30 m or if used outside buildings, there is a risk
of overvoltage pulses from external sources. We recommend to use the
unit in protected operating environments and to limit overvoltage pulses to
max. 500 V.
4 Installation
Before mounting and removing the sensor, make sure that no pressure is
applied to the system.
5 Electrical connection
The unit must be connected by a suitably qualified electrician.
Voltage supply to EN50178, SELV, PELV.
►Disconnect power before connecting the unit.

6 Setting / Operation
1: locking ring

4: process connection G¼ A; tightening torque 25 Nm

• To obtain the setting accuracy: Set the ring to the minimum value, then set the
requested value.
