assessed for each use and may include impact-resistant glasses with side shields, goggles, or a full face shield over those glasses.
Always turn o the air supply, bleed the air pressure and disconnect the air supply hose when not in use, before installing, removing
or adjusting any accessory on this tool, or before performing any maintenance on this tool or any accessory.
Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Cause Action
Side heavy spray pattern 1. Debris in right or left side holes of air cap
2. Debris on uid tip
1. Turn o air supply
2. Clean using non-metallic object (i.e. toothpick)
3. Clean
Top or bottom heavy
spray pattern
1. Debris on uid tip
2. Air cap is loose
1. Turn o air
2. Clean
3. Tighten
Split spray pattern
1. Atomization air pressure is too high
2. Fluid ow is too low
3. Fan pattern open too far
1. Reduce air pressure
2. Turn uid control knob counter clockwise to
increase ow
3. Turn pattern control knob clockwise to reduce
fan width
Center heavy spray
pattern
1. Fluid is too thick
2. Atomization air pressure is too low
1. Thin uid
2. Increase air pressure
Fluttering spray
1. Fluid level too low
2. Loose or damage uid inlet connection
3. Vent hole in container is plugged
1. Rell
2. Tighten or replace
3. Clean vent hole
Excessive overspray 1. Too high atomization pressure
2. Improper movement of spray gun
1. Reduce air pressure
2. Move parallel to the surface at a moderate pace
Will not spray 1. No pressure at gun
2. Fluid control is closed
1. Check air lines
2. Turn counter clockwise to open
