1. Product Features
This unit is a state-of-the-art voltage regulator. Internal XMART voltage stabilizer is designed to
protect all your electronic, electric, and computer equipment, suppressing all power failures from
power main line. Among most common power failures to be suppressed: Transitory Overvoltage
(Spikes), High-Voltage, Low-Voltage, and others. Power protection offered by FUTURA-1000 is
designed to fulfil computer equipment, such as: Monitor, Modem, Router, External Hard Discs
Drives, etc. Your FUTURA-1000 can also protect your TV, Audio, and Video equipment, for as long
as the regulator capacity is not exceeded. FUTURA-1000 main features are listed below:
• Supplies clean and safe power. Suppresses transitory overvoltage (Spikes) of thousands of
volts which might appear in your power line (L-N), caused by storms, and lightnings. Also
stabilizes power line in case of high voltages, low voltages, or voltage fluctuations.
• Doble protection against overloads and short-circuits, thanks to an Input Breaker which can
be restarted in case of being tripped.
• Offers 2 groups of power outlets with 4 power outlets each one. Group identified as
“REGULATED+PROTECTED” includes voltage stabilization, as well as surge (spikes)
suppression. Second group, identified as “PROTECTED ONLY”, offers surge suppression
protection, without voltage regulation.

• FUTURA-1000 includes 2 RJ11 connectors to protect telephone line for routers.
• FUTURA-1000 includes a restart delay to avoid immediate power off and power on. During
this restart delay, FUTURA-1000 checks main line stability before powering output power
outlets. This delay can be configured to 2 Sec or 10 Sec, with a switch located on one side of
the unit. Recommended delay for computer equipment is 10 Sec.
• High Impact, Fire Retardant ABS plastic case. Includes an additive which extinguishes fire
applied to case.

3. Installation
1. Make sure the installation site for your FUTURQA-1000 complies with Tech Specs listed in
this manual and that it is not close neither to heat source, nor to humidity. This regulator
should nit be exposed to direct solar light.
2. This unit can be installed, either on a horizontal surface or fixed to a wall, both horizontally,
and vertically.
3. Plug your FUTURA-1000 to a main line power outlet.
4. Make sure, your equipment power switches are in OFF position.
5. Plug equipment to be protected, to regulator’s power outlets. Either Regulated+Protected or
Regulated Only, according to equipment priority.
6. Push FUTURA-1000 Power Switch to turn on. At this moment Green LED should light up and
the Protection Time starts counting. During this period, FUTURA-1000 makes sure the main
line stays within voltage and frequency appropriate range. After 10 Seconds, if AC line is
correct, power outlets are powered, as well as protected equipment.
7. To protect your Router, connect telephone line to one of FUTURA-1000 RJ-11 connectors,
and the other to the Router’s input port.
8. Put your equipment power switches to ON position to start enjoying protected power
supplied by your XMART FUTURA-1000.
4. Common Fault Check
• If you detect any failure in your FUTURA-1000, contract your supplier or XMART Technical
Service. This unit does not require any technical service, therefore, please do not open it.
Otherwise, you might be exposed to dangerous voltages.
• Is your FUTURA-1000 does not work, check the input breaker located in the power switch
(rear panel of the unit). If it is tripped, push the button to restart it. Before restarting it, make
sure the equipment connected to your FUTURA-1000 do not overload it. Breaker trips when
detecting power consumption higher than FUTURA-1000 capacity.
5. Warranty: Terms and Conditions
XMART guarantees that all products are failure free in materials, manufacture, and design, by
selling time. In case of any problem happens with this unit, the user must contact the supplier
company that sold the unit, which will process the product revision for either reparation, or
replacement (according to its own criteria) any unit considered to be defective. Check Warranty
