whentheyarenotabletomoveawayfromthe
sourceofreorsmoke.Lightedmatches,lighter

wheelchairsurroundingsoronclothes.

3.2Intendeduse
Themediumactivewheelchairisintendedtoprovide
mobilitytopersonslimitedtoasittingposition,whoare
propellingthewheelchairthemselvesfrequently.
Thewheelchairisintendedforpersonsages12andup
(adolescentsandadults).Theweightofthewheelchair
occupantmustnotexceedthemaximumuserweightas
statedintheT echnicalDatasectionandontheidentication
label.
Theintendeduseristhewheelchairoccupantand/oran
assistant.
Theusershouldphysicallyandmentallybeabletousethe
wheelchairsafely(e.g.topropel,steer,brake).
Thewheelchairmaybeusedindoorsandoutdoorsonlevel
