4.4.1.1Circuit breaker
It isnecessarytoconnectacircuitbreakerwhichiscompatiblewiththecapacityof
inverterbetween3phACpowersupplyand powerinputterminals(R,S,T).The
capacityofbreakeris1.5~2 timestotheratedcurrentofinverter.Fordetails,see
<SpecificationsofBreaker, Cable,andContactor>.
4.4.1.2Contactor
Inordertocutofftheinputpowereffectivelywhen somethingiswrongin thesystem,
contactorshouldbeinstalled attheinputsidetocontrol theON-OFFofthemaincircuit
powersupply.
4.4.1.3ACreactor
Inordertoprevent therectifierdamageresult fromthelargecurrent, ACreactorshould
beinstalled attheinputside.It canalsopreventrectifierfromsudden variation ofpower
voltageorharmonicgenerated byphase-controlload.
4.4.1.4InputEMCfilter
Thesurrounding devicemaybedisturbed bythecableswhen theinverterisworking.

regenerativeenergygenerated bydynamicbraking,thebrakingresistorshouldbe
installed at(+)andPB terminals.Thewirelengthofthebrakingresistorshouldbeless
than 5m.
•Inverterof18.5KWandaboveneedconnectexternal brakingunitwhichshouldbe
installedat (+)and(-)terminals. Thecablebetweeninverterandbrakingunit shouldbe
less than5m.Thecablebetweenbrakingunitandbrakingresistorshouldbeless than
10m.
•Thetemperatureofbrakingresistorwillincreasebecausetheregenerativeenergywill
betransformed toheat. Safetyprotection andgood ventilationisrecommended.
Notice:Besurethattheelectricpolarityof(+)(-)terminalsisright; itisnotallowed
to connect(+)with(-) terminalsdirectly,Otherwisedamageorfiremayoccur.
4.4.3Wiringatmotorsideofmain circuit
4.4.3.1OutputReactor
Outputreatormustbeinstalledin thefollowingcondition.Whenthedistancebetween
inverterandmotorismorethan50m,invertermaybetripped byover-currentprotection
frequentlybecauseofthelargeleakagecurrentresulted fromtheparasiticcapacitance
withground.Andthesametimetoavoidthedamageofmotorinsulation,theoutput
reactorshould beinstalled.
4.4.3.2OutputEMCfilter
