Touch Pad Timer Switch with Remote Control
(No Neutral Required)

Features:
BRT-601 is a touch pad timer switch which is controlled by a micro controller unit. In addition to
a wall mount touch pad unit, it also has a handheld IR remote control. It is designed for easy
installation and retrofit, directly fit into standard wall box with no need for the neutral.
Control over up to 4 loads. Each load can have a delay-off time of 30 seconds or instant
on/off;
Easy to use. Four touch pads to turn on or turn off the load, and one touchpad operation to
turn off all the loads;
Good for all kinds of loads (resistive, inductive, or capacitive);
ABS-V0 flame resistance material; and
Classical 86 series design and high quality build.

As shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, BRT-601 touch pad timer switch set includes a wall mount unit and
an IR remote control. The wall mount unit has 4 control touch pads and an LED power indicator,
and wiring terminal blocks on the back. The remote control has five control buttons and a wall
mount bracket.

Wiring Diagram and Installation Guide:
BRT-601 touch pad timer switch only require two wires for installation:
Hot wire (ACL): Coming from the power line with 220V; and
Load wire: Going to the load.

Fig. 3 shows the wiring diagram and Fig. 4 shows the step-by-step installation instructions. There
are three easy steps:
Step one: Use a screwdriver to pry off the front plate in position A;
Step two: Wiring according to the diagram and the labelled ports of the switch; and
Step three: Install the switch to the wall box using screws and put back the front plate.

BRT-601 Operation Guide:
BRT-601 touch pad timer switch can be controlled either using the touch pads of the wall mount
unit or the remote control as shown in Fig 5. After BRT-601 is powered on, the LED on the front
panel will be on and the unit is ready to control the loads.

Control using wall mount unit: There are 4 touch pads on the front panel. Pressing each touch
pad will turn on or turn off the fan or the lamp.
FAN: Pressing once will turn on the fan, and pressing again will turn off the fan;
LAMP 1: Pressing once will turn on lamp 1, and pressing again will turn off lamp 1;
LAMP 2: Pressing once will turn on lamp 2, and pressing again will turn off lamp 2; and
LAMP 3: Pressing once will turn on lamp 3, and pressing again will turn off lamp 3.
Also, pressing a touch ypad to turn on a load will cause the touch pad to flash briefly.
One touch pad operation to turn off all the loads in the same time: Pressing and holding the
FAN touch pad for 2 seconds will turn off all the loads in the same time.
Control using remote: There are 5 buttons on the remote. Pressing each button will turn on or
turn off the fan, or turn on or turn off the lamp.
FAN: Pressing once will turn on the fan, and pressing again will turn off the fan;
LAMP 1: Pressing once will turn on lamp 1, and pressing again will turn off lamp 1;
LAMP 2: Pressing once will turn on lamp 2, and pressing again will turn off lamp 2;
LAMP 3: Pressing once will turn on lamp 3, and pressing again will turn off lamp 3; and
OFF: Pressing this button will turn of all the loads in the same time.
Set up delay-off function: Use a screwdriver to pry off the back cover to access the dip
switches as shown in Fig. 6. Switching a dip switch to on will set up the corresponding load for
delay-off operation respectively.

The delay-off time is set at 30 seconds at factory. Please talk to our sales representative if other
customized settings are required.
Activate delay-off function: Once the delay-off function is set up, touching the keypad once
will turn on the load, and touching the keypad the second time will trigger delay-off for the load.
The keypad will blink until he load is automatically turned off after 30 seconds.
During the delay-off time countdown, touching the keypad will turn off the load immediately.
