Before the First Use
• Remove all packaging.
• Wash cookware in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly using a soft cloth or paper
towel.
Use of Ro ster
• The ro ster h s ste m rele se system on the lid.
• Close supervision is necessary when young children or people with disabilities are nearby
when cooking with the roaster.
• Never leave roaster unattended when cooking.
• Never let roaster boil dry.
• Do not leave the roaster empty into the oven.
• Do not add cold water, ice or frozen food when the roaster is hot, as the steam eruption may
cause burns or other injury. Be especially careful when the roaster contains hot oil!
• Never heat fat or oil to the extent it smokes, burns or turns black.
• Avoid extreme temperature changes to the roaster.
• Hot roaster should be placed on heat-resistant surfaces only.
• Do not use sharp kitchen tools in the internal surface, and do not cut the food directly in the
roaster.
• Spots may be caused to the internal surface of the cookware due to overheating or thermal
shock. This is not a product defect. Avoid using the roaster for long periods at high
temperature.
• The m ximum oven temper ture for the ro ster is 230⁰C.
• For the best m inten nce of the cookw re, it is recommended to cook t 200°C.
• Use low or medium heat for the best cookware performance. High heat may damage your
cookware and this type of damage is not covered under the guarantee.
• When cooking with gas, make sure the flame does not climb to the side walls of the roaster.
• Do not slide or drag roaster across the cooker hobs, as this may cause damage to both the
roaster and the cooker hobs.
• Do not fill the cookware more than the 2/3 of its capacity in order to avoid splashing.
• Do not use the cookware to store acidic, salty or fatty foods before or after cooking.
• Do not attempt to repair damaged roaster.
C re nd Cle ning
• Let the ro ster cool down completely before cle ning to prevent w rping.
• If the food “burns” into the cookware, fill it with hot water and dishwashing liquid and let it
soak for about an hour. Then wash with a soft sponge.
• Wash after each use with hot water, liquid detergent and sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly
before next use or storage.
• Do not use metal sponges, wire or abrasive cleaners.
• Do not put cold water into the hot roaster. Do not immerse the hot roaster in cold water.
