designed to t today’s entertainment lifestyle by showcasing the iconic sound of a pair of JBL loudspeakers in a single cabinet system.

2. Determine Speaker Location

Set the bass contour switch based on the speakers proximity to side boundaries such as walls and inside a bookcase or cabinet.

When close to a boundary the switch should be in the -3dB position in order to maintain level bass response.

Away from side boundaries such as walls.

5. Connect to a Network

For a Wired Connection

Connect the Ethernet port on the rear to any of the open ports on your wireless router using a CAT-5e or higher cable.

For a Wi-Fi Direct Connection

1. On your mobile device, download the JBL Premium Audio App.

2. Power on the JBL L42ms Integrated Music System.

3. Open the app to discover it after the L42ms is Ready.

4. Select it and follow the prompts to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.

5. NET icon LED will illuminate WHITE once network is enabled and connected.

Alternatively, you can connect the JBL L42ms to your Wi-Fi network using Apple Airplay Speaker Setup in the Wi-Fi settings of your

Apple device.

Turning O󰀨 Network and Bluetooth

Network and Bluetooth functionality can be turned O󰀨 should it be desired to do so. The same button operation can be used to turn

Network and Bluetooth back On.

Press “Source Selection” & “Volume +” on the top control panel simultaneously. When OFF, NET LED icon will illuminate RED color.

When ON NET LED icon will illuminate WHITE color.

Note: When the Network and Bluetooth are O󰀨 the following conditions exist:

• Speaker cannot be used for Network or Bluetooth streaming.

• The handheld remote is inoperable and the unit can only be used via the top control panel buttons.

• Network icon on top panel with show Red indicating that Network has been turned o󰀨.

6. Connect a Source via Bluetooth

7. Listening to Sources & Control

The JBL L42ms can be connected to and stream audio content through the following apps and services:

• Spotify Connect

• Tidal Connect

• Apple Airplay 2

• Chromecast (requires acceptance of Google terms in the JBL Premium Audio App or additional setup steps in the Google

Home App)

• Roon Ready (requires setup on a Mac, PC, Roon Nucleus, or another server and the Roon Remote App)

• Works With SmartThings (requires setup with a SmartThings Hub and the SmartThings App)

From the JBL Premium Audio App you can access setup favorites and access other services including but not limited to:

• Internet Radio

• Podcasts

• Amazon Music HD

• Qobuz

The JBL L42ms can be connected to local analog and digital components via back-panel connections:

• 1x 3.5mm (1/8”) stereo mini connector

• 1x RCA stereo Left / Right inputs

• 1x HDMI-ARC connection

NOTE: The HDMI-ARC connection on the L42ms does not decode multichannel or Dolby 2ch audio formats. For the

L42ms to play content delivered to the HDMI-ARC connection the television’s audio output must be set to 2ch PCM.

Refer to the owners manual for your television on details about selecting 2ch PCM output.

9. Factory Reset

The L42ms can be reset to factory defaults should the need to arise. This will erase all settings for Network and Bluetooth requiring

that all connections be recongured.

2. Détermination de l’emplacement de l’enceinte

Réglez le commutateur de contour des graves en fonction de la proximité des enceintes et des obstacles latéraux tels que des parois et

l'intérieur d'une bibliothèque ou d'un meuble. Si un obstacle est proche, le commutateur doit être sur la position -3 dB an de maintenir le

niveau de réponse des basses fréquences.

5. Connexion à un réseau

Connexion câblée

Connectez le prise Ethernet située à l'arrière à l'une des prises libres de votre routeur sans l à l'aide d'un câble CAT-5e ou supérieur.

Pour une connexion Wi-Fi Direct

1. Sur votre appareil mobile, téléchargez l'application JBL Premium Audio.

2. Allumez le système audio intégré JBL L42ms.

3. Ouvrez l'application pour le découvrir une fois que le L42ms est prêt.

4. Sélectionnez-le et suivez les instructions pour le connecter à votre réseau Wi-Fi.

5. L'icône NET s'allume en BLANC une fois le réseau activé et connecté.

Vous pouvez également connecter le JBL L42ms à votre réseau Wi-Fi à l'aide de la conguration des enceintes Apple AirPlay dans les

paramètres Wi-Fi de votre appareil Apple.

Désactivation du réseau et du Bluetooth

La fonction réseau et Bluetooth peut être désactivée à votre gré. La même action sur les boutons permet de réactiver le réseau et le

Bluetooth.

Appuyez simultanément sur « Sélection de la source » et sur « Volume + » du panneau supérieur. Lorsqu’il est désactivé, l'icône NET s'allume

ROUGE. Lorsqu’il est activé l'icône NET s'allume BLANCHE.

Appuyez simultanément pendant plus de 2 s

Remarque : lorsque le réseau et le Bluetooth sont désactivés, le système fonctionne comme suit :

• L’enceinte ne peut pas être utilisée pour la di󰀨usion en réseau ou via Bluetooth.

• La télécommande est inopérante et l'appareil ne peut être utilisé que via les boutons de son panneau supérieur.

• L’icône du réseau du panneau supérieur est rouge pour indiquer que le réseau a été désactivé.

6. Connexion d’une source via Bluetooth

Sur le panneau de commandes supérieur,

sélectionnez la source Bluetooth.

Appuyez pendant plus de 3 secondes sur le

bouton de la source Bluetooth, le témoin clignote.

Sélectionnez L42ms dans le menu

Bluetooth de votre appareil.

REMARQUE : La connexion HDMI-ARC du L42ms ne décode pas les formats audio multicanaux et Dolby 2 canaux. Pour

que le L42ms puisse lire un contenu envoyé par la connexion HDMI-ARC, la sortie audio du téléviseur doit être réglée sur

2 canaux PCM. Reportez-vous au mode d’emploi de votre téléviseur pour savoir comment sélectionner la sortie 2 canaux

PCM.

9. Réinitialisation

La L42ms peut être réinitialisée à ses paramètres d'usine en cas de besoin. Tous les paramètres du réseau et du Bluetooth seront e󰀨acés,

Falls du der Meinung bist, dass ein Transportschaden vorliegt oder einer der oben genannten Teile fehlt, melde dies bitte sofort deinem

2. Bestimmen der Lautsprecherposition

Stelle den Schalter für die Basskontur so ein, dass die Nähe des Lautsprechers zu seitlichen Begrenzungen wie Wänden oder innerhalb

eines Regals oder Schranks dabei berücksichtigt wird. In der Nähe einer Begrenzung sollte der Schalter auf -3 dB stehen, damit der

Basswiedergabepegel aufrechterhalten wird.

Weg von seitlichen Begrenzungen wie Mauern.

2. Schalte die integrierte Musikanlage JBL L42ms ein.

3. Ö󰀨ne die App, um die Musikanlage zu nden, sobald die L42ms bereit (Ready) ist.

Ausschalten von Netzwerk und Bluetooth

Die Netzwerk- und Bluetooth-Funktionen können bei Bedarf ausgeschaltet werden. Mit der gleichen Tastenbetätigung können das Netzwerk

und Bluetooth wieder eingeschaltet werden.

Drücke auf dem oberen Bedienfeld gleichzeitig auf die Tasten für „Quellenauswahl“ und „Lautstärke +“. Wenn dies ausgeschaltet ist, leuchtet

das NET-LED-Symbol ROT. Wenn es eingeschaltet ist, leuchtet das NET-LED-Symbol WEISS.

Conecta el puerto Ethernet en la parte posterior a cualquier puerto abierto de un router inalámbrico con un cable CAT-5e o superior.

Para realizar una conexión Wi-Fi directa

1. En tu dispositivo móvil, descarga la aplicación JBL Premium Audio.

2. Enciende el sistema de música integrado JBL L42ms.

3. Abre la aplicación para detectarlo una vez que el L42ms esté listo.

4. Selecciónalo y sigue las indicaciones para conectarlo a tu red Wi-Fi.

5. El LED del icono NET se iluminará en BLANCO una vez que la red se haya habilitado y conectado.

De forma alternativa, puedes conectar el JBL L42ms a tu red Wi-Fi mediante la conguración de altavoces Apple AirPlay en la conguración

de Wi-Fi de tu dispositivo Apple.

Desactivar la red y Bluetooth

Puedes desactivar las funcionalidades de red y de Bluetooth cuando quieras. La misma operación con botones sirve para volver a activar la

red y Bluetooth.

Pulsa los botones «Selección de fuente» y «Subir volumen» del panel de control superior simultáneamente. En la posición «OFF», el LED

del icono NET se iluminará en color ROJO. En la posición «ON», el LED del icono NET se iluminará en color BLANCO.

Nota: Cuando las funciones de red y Bluetooth están desactivadas, se producen las condiciones siguientes:

• No se puede utilizar el altavoz para la red y la reproducción con Bluetooth.

• El icono de red del panel superior se ilumina de color rojo para indicar que la red está desactivada.

progettato per adattarsi alle tipologie di intrattenimento dello stile di vita odierno, mettendo in mostra l'iconico suono di una coppia

1. Vericare il contenuto della confezione

Se si sospetta che si siano vericati dei danni durante la spedizione o che non sia presente una delle parti di cui sopra, segnalarlo

2. Determinare la posizione dello speaker

Impostare l'interruttore per il bass contour (prolo dei bassi) in base alla vicinanza degli speaker a delimitazioni laterali, come le pareti

e l'interno di una libreria o di un mobiletto. Quando vicino ad una delimitazione, l'interruttore deve essere in posizione -3 dB per tenere

inalterata la risposta sui bassi.

5. Connessione ad una Rete

Per una connessione cablata

Collegare la porta Ethernet sul retro ad una delle porte libere del router wireless utilizzando un cavo CAT-5e o di categoria superiore.

Per una connessione Wi-Fi Direct

1. Sul proprio dispositivo mobile, scaricare l'app JBL Premium Audio.

2. Accendere il sistema musicale integrato JBL L42ms.

3. Aprire l'app per individuare l’ L42ms una volta pronto.

4. Selezionarlo e seguire le istruzioni mostrate per collegarlo alla rete Wi-Fi.

5. Il LED dell'icona NET (Rete) si illumina in BIANCO quando la rete è abilitata e connessa.

In alternativa, è possibile collegare il JBL L42ms alla rete Wi-Fi utilizzando la Congurazione Speaker Apple Airplay nelle impostazioni

Wi-Fi del proprio dispositivo Apple.

Disattivazione della rete e del Bluetooth

È possibile disattivare la funzionalità di Rete ed il Bluetooth se lo si desidera. È possibile utilizzare lo stesso pulsante per riattivare la

Rete ed il Bluetooth.

Premere contemporaneamente "Selezione sorgente" e "Volume +" sul pannello di controllo superiore. Quando è SPENTA, l'icona

LED NET si illumina di colore ROSSO. Quando È ACCESA, l'icona LED NET si illumina di colore BIANCO.

Premere contemporaneamente > 2 secondi

Nota: Quando la Rete ed il Bluetooth sono spenti, si vericano le seguenti condizioni:

• Lo speaker non può essere utilizzato per lo streaming in rete o via Bluetooth.

• Il telecomando palmare non è utilizzabile e l'unità può essere utilizzata solo tramite i pulsanti del pannello di controllo superiore.

• L’icona Rete sul pannello superiore è rossa ad indicare che la Rete è stata disattivata.

6. Collegamento di una sorgente tramite Bluetooth

7. Ascolto delle sorgenti e controllo

Il JBL L42ms può essere collegato a, e riprodurre in streaming contenuti audio, tramite le seguenti app e servizi:

• Spotify Connect

• Tidal Connect

• Apple Airplay 2

• Chromecast (richiede l'accettazione dei termini di Google nell'app JBL Premium Audio o ulteriori passaggi di congurazione

nell'app Google Home)

• Roon Ready (richiede la congurazione su un Mac, PC, Roon Nucleus o un altro server e l'app Roon Remote)

• Funziona con SmartThings (richiede la congurazione con un Hub SmartThings e l'app SmartThings)

Dall'app JBL Premium Audio è possibile accedere alla congurazione dei servizi preferiti e ad altri servizi, tra cui, a titolo

esemplicativo ma non esaustivo:

• Radio Internet

• Podcast

• Amazon Music HD

• Qobuz

Il JBL L42ms può essere collegato a componenti analogici e digitali locali tramite i collegamenti sul pannello posteriore:

• 1x connettore mini-jack stereo da 3,5 mm (1/8")

• 1x ingressi stereo RCA sinistro/destro

• 1x connessione HDMI-ARC

NOTA: La connessione HDMI-ARC sul L42ms non decodica i formati audio multicanale o Dolby a 2 canali. A󰀩nché

l’ L42ms riproduca i contenuti inviati al collegamento HDMI-ARC, l'uscita audio del televisore deve essere impostata

su PCM a 2 canali. Per informazioni sulla selezione dell'uscita PCM a 2 canali, fare riferimento al manuale utente del

televisore.

9. Ripristino alle impostazioni predenite

In caso di necessità, è possibile ripristinare le impostazioni predenite di fabbrica del L42ms. In questo modo tutte le impostazioni di

Rete e Bluetooth verranno cancellate e tutte le connessioni dovranno essere ricongurate.
