E General safety considerations
>Several strap-types and -sizes can be used with
this tool. Use the correct Josef Kihlberg products
for your application. If you need help, contact
your local Josef Kihlberg representative.
>Wear eye- and hand protection.
>Take good care of the tool. Inspect and adjust it
daily. Replace broken or worn parts. Clean and
lubricate it once a week.
>While tensioning or sealing the strap, position
yourself to one side of the strap.
>Retract the strap-end into the dispenser when not
in use.
Safety procedures for tool operation
>Place the strap properly around the package..
>Make sure the straps are properly inserted into the
tool.
>Follow the operating instructions for the correct
strap tensioning procedure.
>When applying the final tension, do not apply ex-
cess force on the handle as this may cause the
strap to break.
Safety procedure for cutting tensioned strap
>Hold strap against the package, above the cutter.
>Cut strap as shown. Stand clear of lower strap
which will spring out and down if under tension.
D Allgemeine Sicherheitsanweisungen
>Mit diesem Gerät können veschiedene Bandarten
und -abmessungen gebraucht werden. Setzen Sie
für Ihren Anwendungsbereich das geeignete Josef
Kihlberg Umreifungsstahlband ein. Sprechen Sie
bitte ihren Josef Kihlberg-Vertreter an, wenn Sie
Rat oder Hilfe benötigen.
>Benutzen Sie bitte die gebräuchlichen Schutzarti-
kel für Augen und Hände.
>Prüfen Sie täglich die Funktionsfähigkeit des Ge-
rätes. Verschlissene und defekte Teile bitte sofort
auswechseln. Reinigen und schmieren sie das
Gerät einmal wöchentlich.
>Achten Sie darauf, daß Ihre Standposition beim
Spannen und Verschließen grundsätzlich seitlich
des Umreifungsbandes ist.
>Ziehen Sie das Bandende in den Abroller zurück
wenn die Umreifungsarbeit beendet ist.
Sicherheitsanweisungen für den Einsatz
>Führen Sie das Band ordnungsgemäß um das
Packstück herum.
>Bitte die Bänder korrekt in das Gerät einlegen.
> Beachten Sie die Anleitung für die Ausführung
des Bandspannvorganges.
>Beim Anlegen der Endspannung den Spannhebel
nicht gewaltsam nach unten drücken. Dies könnte
zum Reißen des Bandes führen.

>Flera bandtyper och -dimensioner kan användas i
detta verktyg. Använd de rätta Josef Kihlberg
produkter för Er applikation. Om Ni behöver
hjälp, kontakta Er lokala Josef Kihlberg repre-
sentant.
>Använd skyddsglasögon och handskar.
>Vårda verktyget väl. Kontrollera och justera det
dagligen. Byt ut slitna eller trasiga delar. Rengör
och smörj det varje vecka.
>Vid spänning eller låsning av bandet, se till att stå
vid sidan om bandet.
>Rulla tillbaka bandändan i bandavrullaren när
utrustningen inte används.
Säkerhetsföreskrifter för handhavandet
>Placera bandet ordentligt runt godset.
>Försäkra Dig om att banden är rätt placerade i
verktyget.
>Följ instruktionerna för korrekt utförande av
bandspänningsproceduren.
>Vid slutspänning, lägg inte extra stor kraft på
handtaget, eftersom detta i så fall kan förorsaka
bandbrott.
Föreskrifter för avklippning av spänt band
>Håll bandet mot godset ovanför saxen.
>Klipp av bandet som visat. Se upp för det neder-
sta band, som fjädrar ut och ner under spänning.

>Plusieurs types et dimensions de feuillard peuvent
être utilisés sur cet outil. Utilisez le produit Josef
Kihlberg adapté à votre application.
>Si vous avez besoin d’aide, mettez vous en rap-
port avec le représentant local de Josef Kihlberg.
>Protégez-vous les yeux et les mains.
>Prenez soin de l’outil; contrôlez et ajustez le quo-
tidiennement. Remplacez les pièces usées ou cas-
sées. Nettoyez et lubrifiez le hebdomadairement.
>Pendant la tension et le matriçage, placez vous en
dehors du champ du feuillard.
>Après l’utilisation, rebobinez le feuillard dans le
dévidoir.
Règles de sécurité lors de l’utilisation
>Placez le feuillard convenablement autour du
colis.
>Assurez-vous que le feuillard est proprement
inséré dans l’outil.
>Suivez la mode d’emploi pour tendre le feuillard
correctement.
>Ne tendez pas le feuillard au delà de ce qu’il peut
supporter en appuyant trop fort sur la poignée lors
de la tension finale.

D Sicherheitsanweisungen für das Durchschnei-
den von gespannten Bändern
>Drücken Sie das Band oberhalb der Schere gegen
das Packstück.
>Stellen Sie sich seitlich vom gespannten Band,
wenn Sie die Umreifung durchschneiden. Das
wegschnellende Band trifft dann den Boden, ohne
eine Verletzungsgefahr zu verursachen.

>Tenez le feuillard contre le colis au-dessus des
ciseaux.
>En coupant le feuillard, tenez vous en dehors de
la partie inférieure du feuillard qui sautera du
colis et tombera en bas s’il est sous tension.

sition when using or handling the tool.

EFeeding the strap around
the package
Feed the strap around the pack-
age as shown in the figure. Hold
the end with your left hand and
pull the strap tight with your
right hand.
D Das Band um das Pack-
stück legen
Das Umführen des Stahlbandes
um das Packstück herum erfolgt
gemäß der Abbildung. Mit der
linken Hand wird das Banden-
ende gehalten, mit der rechten
zieht man das Band straffer.
S Placering av bandet runt
förpackningen
Lägg bandet runt förpackningen
så som bilden visar. Håll band-
ändan med vänster hand och
sträck bandet mot Dig med
höger hand.
F Positionner le feuillard
autour du colis
Positionnez le feuillard autour
du colis comme illustré. Tenez
l’extrémité du feuillard de la
main gauche et tirez celui-ci
vers vous de la main droite.
E Inserting the strap in the
tool
Lift the handle and insert the
double strap. Let the handle
down and check that the strap is
between the guides. Retighten
the upper strap with your right
hand.
D Einlegen des Stahlbandes
Die Spannrolle mit dem Griff
heben und die übereinander-
liegenden Bänder einführen.
Den Griff herunterlassen und
kontrollieren daß das Band
zwischen den Führungen liegt.
Das Band bei Bedarf nachstraf-
fen indem man das obere Ende
durchzieht.

Lyft manöverhandtaget och för
in det dubbellagda bandet.
Släpp handtaget och kontrollera
att bandet ligger mellan styr-
ningarna. Eftersträck bandet
genom att dra den övre parten
mot Dig med höger hand.
F Introduire le feuillard
Levez la poignée et introduisez
les deux épaisseurs de feuillard.
Faites descendre la molette de
tension et vérifiez que le
feuillard soit placé entre les
guides. Reserrez le feuillard
supérieur de la main droite.

E Tensioning the strap
Hold the tool with your left
hand on the sealing handle.
With small movements back and
forth on the tensioning handle,
tighten the strap to the desired
tension.

Das Werkzeug mit der linken
Hand am Verschlußhebel fest-
halten und mit der rechten Hand
den Spannhebel hin und her
bewegen, bis die gewünschte
Bandspannung erreicht ist.

Håll verktyget med vänster hand
på stansspaken. För
sträckspaken fram och tillbaka i
korta rörelser med höger hand
tills bandet är lagom spänt.
F Tension du feuillard
Tenez l’outil de la main gauche
au levier de fermeture. Serrez le
feuillard jusqu’à la tension
désirée par des mouvements
d’avant en arrière du levier de
tension.
E Sealing the strap
Hold the tool with your right
hand on the tensioning lever.
Push the cutting handle forward
until the strap is stamped and
cut.

Den Spannhebel mit der rechten
Hand nach hinten drücken und
den Verschlußhebel mit der
linken nach vorne drücken, bis
die beide Bänder zusam-
mengestanzt sind und das obere
Band abgeschnitten ist.

den nedtryckt med höger hand.

Tenez l’outil, en poussant le

que le feuillard soit matricé et la
part supérieure soit coupée.
E Removal of tool
Lift the handle with your right
hand and remove the tool
towards the right.

Zum lösen des Werkzeuges den
Griff mit der rechten Hand an-
heben und das Gerät nach rechts
vom Stahlband wegziehen.

Lyft manöverhandtaget med
höger hand och för bort

droite et dégagez l’outil vers la
droite.
