2Open the tool.
Werkzeug öffnen.

3Press lever of locator down to
insert contact.

4Insert contact until it is ushed with
the upper crimpprole. Attention!
Beware of sharp edges on contact!
Kontakt einlegen bis er bündig mit
dem oberen Crimpprol abschließt.
Achtung! Scharfe Kanten an
Kontakt möglich!
5Pre-close the tool (1. ratchet) and
insert wire up to the wire stop.
Werkzeug vorschließen
(1. Rastung) und Leiter bis zum
Leiterstopblech einlegen.
6Close the tool.
Werkzeug schließen.

Open the tool and remove crimped
contact.
Werkzeug öffnen und gecrimpten
Kontakt entnehmen.

PREMATURE RELEASE/VORZEITIGES ENTRIEGELN
In case of incorrect handling the tool can be released prematurely:
Das Werkzeug kann bei falscher Handhabung vorzeitig entriegelt werden:
Turn the release screw in direction of
the arrow.
Entriegelungsschraube in Pfeilrichtung
drehen.
The tool opens automatically.
Das Werkzeug öffnet
selbstständig.
Do not use the crimp in case of a
premature release!!!
Crimp im Fall des vorzeitigen
Entriegelns nicht verwenden!!!
Close the tool slightly.
Werkzeug leicht schließen.

MAINTENANCE
The tool has to be kept clean and oiled occasionally. Referring to the results of the
life-time simulation we recommend the exchange of the locator after 1000 cycles at
the latest. Furthermore we recommend checking the tool regularly by measuring the
dimensions indicated in the specications of the crimp terminal.
WARTUNG
Das Werkzeug muss unbedingt sauber gehalten und gelegentlich geölt werden.
Gemäß den Resultaten des Lebensdauertests empfehlen wir den Austausch der
Locator nach spätestens 1000 Zyklen. Weiterhin empfehlen wir das Werkzeug in
regelmäßigen Abständen durch Messen, der in der Spezikation des Crimpkontaktes
angegebenen Maße, zu überprüfen.
