Close the tool slightly.
Werkzeug leicht schließen. Turn the release screw in direction of the arrow.

In case of incorrect handling the tool can be released prematurely:

The tool opens automatically.

MAINTENANCE / WARTUNG
The tool has to be kept clean and oiled
occasionally. Referring to the results of the life-
time simulation we recommend the exchange of
the locator after 1000 cycles at the latest.
Furthermore we recommend checking the tool
regularly by measuring the dimensions
indicated in the specifications of the crimped
contact.
Das Werkzeug muss unbedingt sauber gehalten
und gelegentlich geölt werden. Bezugnehmend
auf die Resultate des Lebensdauertests
empfehlen wir den Austausch der Locator
spätestens nach 1000 Zyklen. Weiterhin
empfehlen wir, das Werkzeug in regelmäßigen
Abständen durch Messen der in der
Spezifikation des Crimpkontaktes angegebenen
Maße zu überprüfen.

Remove locking lever from the locator.

Open the flap locator.

Insert the contact into the

Close the flap locator.

schließen.
Lock the flap locator.
Schwenkpositionierer
verriegeln.
Pre-close the tool.
Werkzeug vor-
schließen.
Insert the wire.
Leiter einlegen.
Close the tool.
Werkzeug schließen. Open the tool and the flap locator and remove the crimped contact.
Werkzeug und Schwenkpositionierer öffnen und
gecrimpten Kontakt entnehmen.
