Charging the Battery Pack(BN-V856U)
Use the provided AC Power Adapter/Charger to charge the battery pack. The Battery Pack is rechargeable
even if it is not completely depleted.
For details on operation, refer to the notes on page 10 in the camcorder’s instructions.

SUPPLY POWER TO CHARGER
Plug the AC Power Adapter/Charger’s power
cord in to an AC outlet.The power lamp
comes on.

ATTACH THE BATTERY PACK
Attach while making sure the marks
are facing down and aligned with the
corresponding marks on the AC Power
Adapter/Charger.
•The Charger Indicator 1 begins blinking to
indicate charging has started. (Charger
indicator 2 does not blink.)
•When blinking of the Charger indicator 1
stops blinking and remains lit, charging is
finished.
•Charging time is approximately 6 hrs. 30
min. (When the Battery Pack is completely
depleted.)

DETACH THE BATTERY PACK
Slide the battery in the direction of the
arrow and lift off.
•When charging is finished, unplug the
Power cord from an AC outlet.
