constant. As a result of this, the light ill also cycle on and
off to indicate hen the appliance is heating the oil and
hen the desired oil temperature has been reached. For
best results, al ays ait until the appliance is at the correct
temperature before adding the food.
• Place the food to be fried carefully in the basket. Gently
lo er the basket into the oil. For “crisper” results, e
recommend using the fryer ithout the lid. WARNING: Be
careful of spitting hot oil. With the basket positioned on the
hook, place the food to be fried carefully in the basket. With
the handle attached to the basket, gently lo er the basket
into the oil. WARNING\: If using the deep fat fryer ithout
the dustcover, be careful of spitting hot oil.
• Al ays s itch off the appliance and unplug from the po er
supply after use or hilst unattended.
• This fryer is fitted ith overheat protection. Should you
accidentally s itch ON your deep fat fryer ithout oil or fat,
or ithout the minimum amount of oil/fat required, the
deep fat fryer ill automatically cut-out, to stop the
appliance overheating.
• If this should happen, firstly s itch-off and unplug the deep
fat fryer. Wait until the element cools do n. Locate the
reset hole on the bottom of the main housing directly under
the control panel, place your finger inside the hole area
and push up ard onto the small red button. This ill reset
the deep fat fryer. Your deep fat fryer is no ready to use.
To ensure this does not happen again, please read
instruction leaflet carefully.
• Should you ish to use solid fat, turn the temperature knob
to its lo est position. Cut the solid fat into cubes of size 15-
20mm. Ensure there is enough solid fat cubes to cover the
heating element. S itch on the deep fat fryer and rotate
the temperature dial until the light comes on. After the light
goes off, rotate the dial again until it comes on. Repeat this
