1. Basic Information
1.1. Brief Introduction
Thanks for selecting K84 color screen GSM digital mobile phone. Through
reading the manual, you can fully know how to use K84 mobile phone, appreciate
its complete function and simple operating method.
K84 color screen mobile phone is designed aiming at GSM network
environment; the phone is Two Card Two Standby, but you cannot call another
SIM card when one SIM card is on call. Besides basic call functions of K84 also
provides many kinds of practical functions, such as name card holder, scene mode,
message, audio and video player, camera and video, E-book, game, BT, alarm
clock, calculator,STK,time and date,auto power-on and shut-downetc., which will
beconvenient for your work and leisure activities. In addition, K84 adopts
personalized human-computer interface design. It's complete function can meet
your different requirements.
K84color screen mobile phone accords with GSM criterion, has obtained
the certification of competent authority.
The company reserves the rights to revise the contents of the manual

2. Before Use
2.1. Appearance Sketch Map
2.2. Install SIM Card and Memory Сага
2.2.1. SIM Card
Before using the phone, you must insert valid SIM (Subscriber Identity
Module) card in the phone. SIM card is provided by the network supplier.
When you subscribe to a cellular network, you will receive a plug-in SIM
card complete with your subscription details, such as your PIN, and available
optional services.
Caution: Do not bend or scratch your SIM card. Avoid exposing your SIM
card to static electricity, water or dirt.
Tips: Face the gold color contact point of SIM card towards the cell
phone and push the SIM card into the slot.
2:22: Memory Card
Aim at the T card slot and push the T card gently, and the card will be
inserted correctly.
Prompt: If the memory card is failed, please check whether it is correctly
placed and good contact of metal point.
2.3. Battery
2.3.1. Installing the Battery
ш Take off the rear cover of the mobile.
а Make one епа of battery with metal surface aim at the battery connector.
= Then gently press the battery downward using the finger and press the other

end to install the battery.
Prompt: Please operate correctly to avoid damaging the battery connector.
2:3:2; Charging
Insert the charger; the flash symbol on the charger plug must face upwards.
Connect the charger to a standard wall outlet and the battery power icon in
the up-right corner of the screen will start scrolling. When the battery bar stops
scrolling, it means the battery charge is complete. Press the two sides of the
charger plug and disconnect the charger from the phone.
Prompt: In order to ensure normal operation of the phone, please make sure
to use the designated charger.
2.4. Security Password

PIN (Personal Identification Number) is used to prevent your SIM card from
being used illegally. Default PIN is 1122. The PIN is usually provided with the
SIM card together. If you input the wrong PIN for continuously three times, please
input PUK to unlock it. Please contact the network operations company for more
details.
E PIN 2
You need to input PIN2 when entering some functions (such as call charge);
if you input wrong PIN2 for continuous three times, you need to input PUK2 to
unlock it. Please contact the network operations company for more details.
= PUK

When changing the locked PIN, you need to input PUK (Personal Unlock
Key). PUK is provided with the SIM card together. If it is not provided, please
contact your service provider. If you input the wrong PUK for continuously ten
times, the SIM card will be considered as permanently invalid. In that case please
contact your service provider to buy a new card. You can’t change the PUK. If you
lose the code, please contact your service provider for assistance.
E PUK2
When changing the locked PIN2, you need to input PUK2. If you input the
wrong PUK2 for continuously ten times, you can’t use the functions that need
PIN2. Please contact your service provider to buy a new card. You can’t change
the PUK 2. If you lose the code, please contact your service provider for assistance
3; Standby Interface
3.1. Standby Interface 1
The Phone screen 1display Airport, Bluetooth, backlight and Earphonr on/off.
Touch screen for three seconds then you can add applications.
3.2. Standby Interface 2
The Phone screen 2th display FM Radio.

3.8. Power on/off the Phone
In the standby mode, press and hold End key to power on/off the phone.
3.9. T-flash Card
Insert the T-Flash card into the phone from the background. This will expand
the Flash memory of the phone.
From the Tap Multimedia menu you can browse MP3, MP4, picture, video,
photograph etc.
4. Function Menu
4.1 Calendar
Access this menu, the calendar will be shown on the screen. Press the icon to
change the date, and the calendar shown on the screen will be changed
accordingly.
4.2 Music
Also it is called music player. Your K84comes with a music player to let you
enjoy any music of your choice through your TF card. You can easily transfer your
favorite music from your PC to the TF card and experience a whole world of
interesting and melodious music.
4.3 Video

Access the menu, you can enter film list and press “options” to choose a
movie clip to play, send, rename, delete, delete all files, view details. While
playing, long press right or left key to adjust the rate of progress, by pressing up
and down key to adjust volume, center key to play or pause.Avi,3gp and mp4
formats are supported.
4.4 Timer
Count the elapsed time using the timer.
4.5 KingMovie
If you want to use King Movie function, first in the memory
card“KingMovie” folder into the video file you can use the menu. It only
support .smv format.
4.6 Contacts
Through yourcontacts, you can access your existingcontacts as well as
organize groups, access SIM related services and blacklist undesired
numbers from calling you up.
The Contacts is organized into tabs for easy access and use.
You can access phone book from the main menu or by pressing the
Contacts icon.
Your Contacts allows you to organize your contacts into groups for
customizing call tunes and other preferences specific to those groups.
You can view the phonebook by Phone, SIM 1/SIM 2 memory and caller
groups.

Missed calls: Display the list of your recent missed numbers.
Received calls: Display the list of your recent answered numbers.
Dialed calls: Display the list of your recent dialed numbers.
Rejected calls: Display the incoming call records in the blacklist.
You can turn to Favorites, Alland Dial.
48 Dialpad
By this function, you can dial the number you want. Press the Volume Up/
Down keys to adjust the call volume.
You can turn to Call logs, Contacts and Favorites.
4.9 Settings

— — Time &date: You can set up the date and the time on the phone as well as
in the display mode.
— — Language settings: You can select phone language.
— — Input method settings: You can select displayand input language.
— — Auto Power on/off: You can set the time and repeat mode to power-on or
power-off.
— — Power saving mode: You can view the electric quantity of your battery.
— — Browser selection: You can set browser selection.
— — Restore factory settings: You can restore part of the phone settings as
factory settings. The default code of restoring factory settings is: 1122.

— — Animation effect: You can set as defaultpower on/off animation or as well

— — Wallpaper settings: You can set as default wallpaper images or as well as
other wallpaper images.
— — Screen saver settings: You can set as default images/animation or as well
as other images/animation.
— — Contrast: On the screen backlight interface you can set different
brightness of your phone by pressing the left/right direction key.
— — Backlight: You can set Backlight time.
— — Keypadbacklight time

— — PIN: You can start up shut down or modify PIN code.
The default PIN code is 1122.

network operator.
— — Phone locked: You can start up or shut down “phone password” or revise
it. The default phone password is 1122.

— — Call divert: When “call divert” function is start up, you can transfer the
incoming call to voice inbox or other phone number according to the task “ call
divert” conditions.

— — Call waiting: You can start up or shut down the function. When it is
selected even when you are on a call, you can also receive another call.
— — Call barred: All outgoing calls, incoming calls, roaming incoming calls,
international outgoing calls, roaming international outgoing calls are available.
— — Select line: There are two lines can be selected: line 1 and line 2. But the
function is just for the phone which has one SIM card and two numbers. If you are
not using that type of a phone please select line 1, because if you choose line 2,
dialing will be limited.
— — Reject call time: You can select the time to auto end the calling.
— — Hide ID: This function must be supported by the network.
— — Others

This function can let you select the network manually or automatically
when the phone is in the roaming state. You can use this function only after you
have made an effective roaming.
4.10 Lock Screen
You can choose your own style of lock screen.

4.14 Internet

Internet is an application platform integrating wireless communication and
Internet technology, which makes it possible for you to access to rich
Internet information source and e-commerce application etc.
4.15 Message
= Write Message
You could write new messages by using this function. When you input the
message to be sent clickleft soft key to send, to insert the templates, to add contact
person information and symbol, and to save etc.
ш Inbox
Store the SMS message you’ve received. The SMS message could be
differentiated by different icons. Theiconsbefore the message list means whether
this message is а SMS message and the place where it is stored. in ЗІМІ, SIM2 or
the in phone.
= Outbox
Store the SMS you’ve sent but not gone(Pending/que). The SMS can be
stored in SIM1, SIM2 or in the phone.
E Drafts
Store the SMS you’ve edited. The SMS can bestored in SIMI, SIM2 orin the
phone.

Store the SMS you’ve sent successfully. The SMS can be stored in SIMI,
SIM2 orin the phone.
= Templates
You could edit or delete the templates.
= Broadcast message
The area info services send different kinds of messages. Change the settings of
this service and inquire the area info by using this function.
= Voice mail server
This phone supports the function of the voice mail. You could choose either
SIM1 or SIM2. When you receive the calls from others, they could give you a
message in your voice mailbox. When you phone receives the message notice, you
could listen to the messages.Under the voice mail interface you can edit and set the
number of line 1, line 2, fax or data.
= Settings
There are seven options: SMS sign setting,SIM1 msg center, SIM2 msg center
center, message validity period, status report, save sent messages, preferred
storagemedium.
= Delete all
Delete all messages in Inbox/Outbox/Drafts/Sent box.
= Message capacity
You could view the capacity of the SMS and MMS.
4.16 Camera

The device is equipped with a webcam with high pixels. You can take a
photo at any time and save the photo in the device or SIM card. The photo
can be used as wallpaper of your device or you can send it to your friends
through BT.
4.17 Video recorder
The device is equipped with a video capture so that you can chat with
your friends through it. A driver is needed to be installed when the video
capture function is used. The details can be found in driver installation
guide.
4.18 Profiles
This phone provides several profiles, by touch, you can enter to set:
Activate, Customize.
4.19 Stopwatch
Use the stopwatch to count time elapsed and also view previously
recorded counts.
4.20 Ebook
Read txt format file. You can complete the following features: View,
delete, delete all, scroll style, language code and information. While
reading, press “Option” to do the work such as full screen, my bookmark,
scroll style, language code.
4.21 My files
You can check the specific content and service condition of the phone
memory via this function. Meanwhile, you can format the memory too.

4.22 Bluetooth
This mobile phone support Bluetooth wireless connection. You can
establish wireless connection between mobile phone and device to realize
voice communication, data exchange and synchronization.
4.23 Image
Enter the menu you can view the photos in phone memory or memory
card. Press the left soft key can be: View, set as , send, rename, delete,
delete all files, mark, slide show, view details. View pictures, the left soft
key can be: set as contacts, wallpaper and screensaver, send, delete, can
also see pictures of view details.
4.24 FM radio
You can listen as well as record your favorite FM channels using the
inbuilt FM receiver of your phone.
You can record your channels inAMR formats. You can set various radio
preferences from Options > Settings.
4.25 Calculator
Access this menu, the calculator will be shown on the screen. You can
use the numbers and operators to calculate.
4.26 Recorder
Touch to start recording, press the right soft key to stop recording. Press
the left soft key options are: play, new, delete, view files. All those files
recorded are AMR and WAV format.
4.27 World clock

Enter World clock submenu, to set the time where you are.
4.28 Local search
You can quick search what you want. Like: Contacts, message and so on.
4.29 Conversion
Weight calculation and the distance of the unit conversion.
4.30 Backup
You can backup or restore your call logs, contacts, SMS and calendar.
4.31 Alarm
Set the alarm time and it will remind you by alert tone or vibration when
the alarm time comes.
4.32 STK
Enter STK submenu, to use the additional services that the network service
operator provide.
4.33 Memo
You can record what happened at any time.
4.34 Facebook
Your device is supported Facebook.

5 Care and Maintenance
Maintenance of battery
-Your device is powered by а rechargeable battery. It is necessary to have the
battery charged before using. The full performance of a new battery is achieved
only when it is fully wore out.
‘Unplug Ше charger from the electrical plug and the device when not in use. Do
not leave fully a charged battery connected to a charger over a week, since
overcharging may shorten its lifetime.
‘Temperature tends to affect the limit of battery to be charged. Therefore, it is
necessary for the battery to be cooled or warmed before it is charged. If the
temperature of batter exceeds 40°C ,the battery cannot be charged.
‘Use the battery only for its intended purpose and avoid short-circuiting.
Accidental short-circuiting can occur when a metallic object causes direct
connection of the positive(+) and negative(-) terminals of the battery.
