thoroughly recommends reading these instructions before using
the ipe Vice & Stand, even if you have used one before. Reading these
instructions carefully and understanding them fully will enable you to erect the
stand correctly and will prevent injury to yourself or someone else.
TOOLS NEEDED: 17mm socket or spanner
1) Open out the wooden base (A) so that it is flat on the floor. (fig. 1)
2) Remove the 17mm nut and bolt (B) holding the rear leg (C). (fig 2)
3) Turn the rear leg (C) upside down and refit. (fig. 3)
4) Raise the metal tray (D) into the horizontal position, lo ating the hooks onto the
bars on the rear leg (C). (fig. 4)

restraining strap (E). (Fig 5)
6) It is now ready for use with the Kennedy Pipe Vi e. (fig. 6) Be sure to keep the
stand on a level floor.
