BLENDING
INSTRUCTIONS
T minimise the p ssibility f scalding when blending h t ingredients

p ssible burns. The f ll wing precauti ns must be bserved:
●CAUTION: Blend ng very hot l qu ds may result n hot
l qu d and steam be ng forced suddenly past the l d or
f ller cap .
●We recommend that hot l qu ds are allowed to cool
before blend ng.
●NEVER exceed 1200ml / 5 cups capacity if pr cessing h t liquids,
such as s ups (refer t the markings n the g blet).
●ALWAYS c mmence blending at a l w speed and gradually
increase the speed. NEVER blend h t liquids by using the Pulse
setting.
●Liquids which tend t f am such as milk, sh uld be limited t a
maximum capacity f 1000ml/4 cups.
●Take care when handling the blender as the g blet and its c ntents
will be very h t.
●Take particular care when rem ving the lid. The lid is designed t
be a tight fit t prevent leakage. If necessary pr tect y ur hands
with a cl th r ven gl ves when handling.
●Ensure the g blet is securely attached t the base and when
rem ving fr m the appliance, guide the base and ensure it is
rem ved t gether with the g blet.
●Ensure that the lid and filler cap are securely in place bef re every
blending perati n.
●Always ensure that the vents in the filler cap are clear bef re every
blending perati n .
●When fitting the lid t the g blet always ensure that the lid and
g blet rim are clean and dry t ensure a g d seal and prevent
spillage.

●Only use the goblet with the
blade assembly supplied.
●Never let the power unit, cord or
plug get wet.
●Never use a damaged
appliance. Get it checked or
repaired: see ‘service and
customer care’.
●Never use an unauthorised
attachment.
●Never leave the appliance
unattended when it is operating.
●When removing the blender or
mill from the power unit:
●●wait until the blades have
completely stopped;
●●don’t accidentally unscrew
the goblet or mill jar from the
blade assembly.
●Never run the blender empty.
●Never blend more than the
maximum capacity stated in the
recommended speed chart.
●To ensure long life of your
blender, do not run it for longer
than 60 seconds or the mill for
longer than 30 seconds.
●Smoothie recipes - never blend
frozen ingredients that have
formed a solid mass during
freezing, break it up before
adding to the goblet.
●Don’t use the blender as a
storage container. Keep it empty
before and after use.
●Always use the blender on a
secure, dry level surface.
●Never place this appliance on or
near a hot gas or electric burner
or where it could touch a heated
appliance.
●Misuse of your blender can
result in injury.
●This appliance is not intended
for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
●Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play

1 Fit the sealing ring into the
blade unit  - ensuring the seal
is located correctly in the
grooved area.
●Leaking will occur if the
seal is damaged or
incorrectly fitted.

2 Clip the blade unit  into the
base .
3 Screw the blade assembly onto
the goblet – ensuring the blade
assembly is fully tightened.
Refer to the graphics on the
underside of the blade unit as
follows:
- unlocked position
- locked position
4 Put your ingredients into the
goblet.
5 Fit the filler cap to the lid and
push down to secure.
6 Fit the lid by pushing down until
secure.
7 Place the blender onto the
power unit.
●The appliance won’t work
if the blender is
incorrectly fitted.
8 Plug in and the 2 pre-program
buttons will light up. Select a
speed (refer to the
recommended speed chart).
9 Choose one of the following
options:
●Select one of the 2 pre-
programmed buttons. When the
required program button is
pressed the light on the other
button will go out. The blender
will switch off automatically at
the end of the pre-set time. If
you wish to stop before the pre-
set time, press the selected
program button again.
●Select speed 1 (low) to 5 (High)
by turning the speed control. At
the end of blending return the
speed control to “0” before
removing the blender.
●(P) Pulse – operates the motor
in a start/stop action. The pulse
will operate for as long as it is
held in position.
NOTE: The pre-program lights
will flash under the following
circumstances
●The power unit is plugged in but
the goblet is not fitted to the
power unit.
●The goblet is removed from the
power unit without switching the
speed control to “0”.
●The power unit will not operate
until the control is turned to “0”
and a speed is reselected.

●To blend dry ingredients - cut
into pieces, remove the filler
cap, then with the machine
running, drop the pieces down
one by one. Keep your hand
over the opening. For best
results empty regularly.
●The processing of spices is not
recommended as they may
damage the plastic parts.
●When making mayonnaise, put
all the ingredients, except the
oil, into the blender. Remove the
filler cap. Then, with the
appliance running, add the oil
slowly through the hole in the
lid.
●Thick mixtures, e.g. pâtés and
dips, may need scraping down. If
the mixture is difficult to process,
add more liquid.

Fill it no more than half full.
2 Fit the sealing ring into the
blade unit  - ensuring the seal
is located correctly in the

4 Turn the mill blade assembly
upside down. Lower it into the
jar , blades down. Turn in a
clockwise direction to lock.
5 Place the mill onto the power
unit.
6 Select a speed or use the pulse
control (refer to the
recommended speed chart).
7 After milling, you can replace the
blade assembly with the mill lid
.

BELANGRIJK: INSTRUCTIES VOOR HET
MENGEN VAN HETE VLOEISTOFFEN
Om de kans op brandwonden te verkleinen bij het mengen van
hete ingrediënten, moet u uw handen en andere onbeschermde
huid uit de buurt van het deksel houden om eventuele
brandwonden te voorkomen.
De volgende voorzorgsmaatregelen moeten worden getroffen:
●VOORZICHTIG: Het mengen van zeer hete vloeistoffen
kan tot gevolg hebben dat hete vloeistof en stoom
plotseling uit het deksel of vuldop worden gedreven .
●We raden u aan hete vloeistoffen te laten afkoelen
voordat ze worden verwerkt.
●Overschrijd bij de verwerking van hete vloeistoffen, zoals soepen,
NOOIT de capaciteit van 1200 ml (gebruik de maatstreepjes op de
beker).
●Stel de blender in het begin ALTIJD op een lage snelheid in en
verhoog de snelheid geleidelijk. Meng hete vloeistoffen NOOIT
door de pulseerstand te gebruiken.
●Vloeistoffen die de neiging hebben om te schuimen, zoals melk,
mogen de maximumcapaciteit van 1000 ml niet overschrijden.
●Wees voorzichtig als u de blender vastpakt: de beker en de inhoud
zijn erg heet.
●Wees vooral voorzichtig als u het deksel verwijdert. Om lekken te
voorkomen is het deksel zo ontworpen dat het precies past.
Bescherm bij de hantering zo nodig uw handen met een doek of
ovenwanten.
●org dat de beker goed op het onderstel is bevestigd; wanneer u
de beker van het apparaat verwijdert, houdt u het onderstel vast en
zorgt dat hij samen met de beker wordt verwijderd.

●Gebruik nooit een beschadigd
apparaat. Laat het nakijken of

●Gebruik uitsluitend
goedgekeurde hulpstukken.
●Laat het apparaat nooit
onbeheerd terwijl het aan staat.
●Pas op dat u bij het verwijderen
van de mixer of de molen van
het motorblok:
●●wacht totdat de messen
volledig tot stilstand zijn
gekomen;
●●de beker of molen niet per
ongeluk van de
messeneenheid losschroeft.
●Laat de blender nooit leeg
draaien.
●Verwerk nooit meer dan de
maximum capaciteit die in de
tabel met aanbevolen snelheden

●Voor een lange levensduur laat u
de blender niet langer dan 60
seconden draaien en de molen
niet langer dan 30 seconden.
●Smoothie-recepten – verwerk
nooit bevroren ingrediënten die
tijdens de bevriezing tot een
vaste massa zijn geworden;
breek de massa op voor u hem
aan de beker toevoegt.
●Gebruik de mixer niet als
bewaarbak. org dat hij voor en
na ieder gebruik leeg is.
●Gebruik de blender altijd op een
droge, vlakke ondergrond.
●Plaats dit apparaat nooit op of in
de buurt van een hete gas- of
elektrische brander of waar het
in aanraking kan komen met een
heet apparaat.
●Misbruik van uw blender kan tot
letsel leiden.
●Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor
gebruik door personen (inclusief

lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of
geestelijke vermogens of gebrek
aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij ze
toezicht of instructies over het

9 Kies één van de volgende
opties:
●Selecteer een van de 2
voorgeprogrammeerde
knoppen. Als u de gewenste
knop indrukt, gaat het lampje op
de andere knop uit. De blender
schakelt automatisch uit aan het
eind van de vooraf ingestelde
tijd. Als u het apparaat vóór de
ingestelde tijd wilt stoppen,
drukt u nogmaals op de
geselecteerde programmaknop.
●Selecteer snelheid 1 (laag) tot 5
(hoog) door de snelheidsknop te
draaien. Draai de snelheidsknop
na afloop naar '0' voordat u de
blender verwijdert.
●(P) Pulseerknop - de motor
werkt in start/stop-modus. De
puls duurt zolang als de knop
ingedrukt gehouden wordt.
BELANGRIJK: De
voorgeprogrammeerde lampjes
gaan onder de volgende
omstandigheden knipperen

●Het motorblok is op het
stopcintact aangesloten, maar
de beker is niet op het
motorblok geplaatst.
●De beker is van het motorblok
verwijderd zonder dat de
snelheidsknop op '0' is gezet.
●De motor werkt pas als de knop
op '0' is gezet en u een snelheid
hebt geselecteerd.

●Droge ingrediënten mengen – in
stukken snijden, de vuldop
verwijderen, en de stukken één
voor één op het draaiende mes
laten vallen. Houd uw handen
over de opening. Voor het beste
resultaat het apparaat
regelmatig legen.
●De verwerking van specerijen
wordt afgeraden; dit kan de
plastic onderdelen beschadigen.
●Bij het bereiden van mayonaise,
alle ingrediënten, met
uitzondering van de olie, in de
blender plaatsen. Verwijder de
vuldop. Voeg de olie vervolgens
langzaam door het gat in het
deksel aan het draaiende
apparaat toe.
●Bij dikke mengsels, zoals patés
en dips, moet u de wand van
het apparaat misschien
schoonschrapen. Als het
mengsel moeilijk verwerkt kan
worden, voegt u meer vloeistof
toe.

gebruik de pulseerknop (zie de
tabel met aanbevolen
snelheden).
7 Na het malen kunt u de
messeneenheid vervangen door
het deksel van de molen .

We raden u aan hete vloeistoffen te laten
afkoelen voordat ze worden verwerkt.
Als u hete vloeistoffen toch wilt verwerken,
dient u de veiligheidsinstructies voor het
mengen van hete vloeistoffen te lezen.

IMPORTANT : INSTRUCTIONS POUR
LES PRÉPARATIONS CHAUDES
Afin de minimiser les risques de brûlure lorsqu’il s’agit de mixer des
ingrédients chauds, veuillez maintenir vos mains et autres parties du
corps exposées éloignées du couvercle, pour éviter toute brûlure
possible.
Les précautions suivantes doivent être observées :
●ATTENTION : le fait de mélanger des préparations
liquides très chaudes peut donner lieu à l’échappement
soudain de liquide chaud ou de vapeur à travers le
couvercle ou le bouchon de remplissage .
●Il est vivement recommandé de laisser refroidir au
préalable les préparations liquides chaudes avant de
les mixer.
●NE DÉPASSEZ JAMAIS la capacité de 1 200 ml / 5 tasses
lorsque vous effectuez des préparations à base de liquides chauds
telles que des soupes (veuillez vous référer aux graduations portées
sur le pichet).
●Commencez TOUJOURS par mixer à petite vitesse et augmentez
graduellement la vitesse. Ne MÉLANGEZ jamais des liquides
chauds en utilisant la commande Pulse.
●Les liquides qui ont tendance à mousser tels que le lait, doivent
être limités à une capacité maximale de 1 000 ml / 4 tasses.
●Faîtes très attention lorsque vous manipulez le mixeur, ceci dans la
mesure où le pichet et son contenu sont très chauds.
●Faîtes très attention lorsque vous retirez le couvercle. Il est conçu
pour procurer une fermeture hermétique afin d’éviter toute fuite. Si
nécessaire, protégez vos mains à l’aide d’un tissu ou de manilles
lorsque vous manipulez le couvercle.
●Veillez à ce que le pichet soit fermement fixé sur la base et lorsque
vous le retirez du robot, guidez la base et veillez à ce qu’elle soit
retirée en même temps que le pichet.
●Veillez à ce que le couvercle et le bouchon de remplissage soient
fermement mis en place avant de commencer toute opération de
mixage.

●N’utilisez jamais un accessoire
non adapté à cet appareil.
●Ne laissez jamais l’appareil sans
surveillance lorsqu’il fonctionne.
●Lorsque le mixeur ou le moulin
est retiré du bloc
d’alimentation :
●●attendez l’arrêt complet des
lames ;
●●évitez de dévisser
accidentellement le bol ou le
pichet du moulin de
l’ensemble porte-lames.
●Ne faites jamais fonctionner le
mixeur à vide.
●Ne mixez jamais plus de la
capacité maximale indiquée
dans le tableau de vitesse
recommandée.
●Afin de prolonger la durée de vie
de votre mixeur, ne le faites pas
fonctionner plus de 60
secondes ou plus de 30
secondes pour le moulin.
●Recettes pour smoothies – ne
mixez jamais d’ingrédients
surgelés qui ont formé une
masse solide pendant la
congélation. Brisez les
ingrédients avant de les placer
dans le bol.
●N’utilisez pas le mixeur comme
récipient de conservation des
aliments. Gardez-le vide avant et
après utilisation.
●Utilisez toujours le mixeur sur
une surface sûre, sèche et
plane.
●Ne placez jamais cet appareil à
proximité ou sur une plaque de
cuisson électrique ou un brûleur

1 Installez le joint sur le bloc
lames – en vous assurant est
que le joint est correctement
placé dans le sillon.

2 Fixez l’unité porte-lames sur
la base .
3 Vissez l’unité porte-lames sur le
bol – en vous assurant de bien
le serrer. Reportez-vous aux
représentations graphiques
suivantes, sur la face inférieure
de l’unité porte-lames :
- position déverrouillée
- position verrouillée
4 Mettez vos ingrédients dans le
pichet.
5 Insérez bouton de remplissage
dans le couvercle et appuyez
dessus pour le mettre
fermement en place.
6 Installez le couvercle en
appuyant jusqu’à ce qu’il soit
bien fixé.
7 Insérez le mixeur sur le bloc
d’alimentation.
●L’appareil ne fonctionnera
pas si le mixeur n’est pas
correctement installé.
8 Branchez l’appareil : les deux
témoins lumineux de pré-
programmation s’éclairent.
Sélectionnez une vitesse
(reportez-vous au tableau des
vitesses recommandées).
9 Choisissez l’une des options
suivantes :
●Sélectionnez l’un des deux
boutons de pré-programmation.
Une fois le bouton du
programme souhaité appuyé, le
témoin de l’autre bouton
s’éteint. Le mixeur s’arrête
automatiquement à la fin du
programme sélectionné. Si vous
souhaitez arrêter avant la fin du
programme, appuyez une
nouvelle fois sur le bouton du
programme sélectionné.

●Sélectionnez la vitesse de 1
(lente) à 5 (rapide) en tournant le
bouton de contrôle. Une fois le
mixage terminé, remettez le
bouton en position “0” avant de
retirer le mixeur.
●(P) Pulse – fait fonctionner le
moteur par à-coups. La fonction
‘pulse’ est enclenchée aussi
longtemps que le bouton est
maintenu appuyé.
NOTE : Les voyants lumineux de
pré-programme se mettront à
clignoter dans les cas suivants :
●Le bloc moteur est branché
mais le bol n’est pas fixé au
bloc moteur.
●Le bol est retiré du bloc moteur
sans avoir remis le bouton de
contrôle à “0”.
●Le bloc moteur ne se remettra
pas en route tant que le bouton
n’est pas remis sur “0” et une
vitesse à nouveau sélectionnée.

●Pour mélanger des ingrédients
secs – coupez-les en morceaux,
retirez le bouchon de
remplissage, puis, l’appareil
étant en marche, laissez-les
tomber un par un. Laissez une
main au-dessus de l’ouverture.
Pour de meilleurs résultats,
videz régulièrement.
●L’utilisation de l’appareil pour
mixer des épices n’est pas
recommandée. En effet, celles-ci
pourraient endommager les
pièces en plastique.
●Lorsque vous préparez de la
mayonnaise, placez tous les
ingrédients, à l’exception de
l’huile, dans le mixeur. Retirez le
bouchon de remplissage. Puis,
l’appareil étant en marche,
ajoutez l’huile doucement par
l’orifice du couvercle.
●Les mélanges épais, comme les
pâtés et les sauces, peuvent
nécessiter de racler les parois
de l’appareil. En cas de difficulté
à mixer, ajoutez davantage de
liquide.

bocal. Ne le remplissez pas à
plus de la moitié.
2 Installez le joint sur le bloc
lames – en vous assurant est
que le joint est correctement

3 Fixez l’unité porte-lames sur
la base .
4 Retournez l’ensemble porte-
lames. Abaissez-le dans le bocal
, les lames vers le bas.
Tournez dans le sens inverse
des aiguilles d’une montre pour
verrouiller
5 Placez le moulin sur le bloc-
moteur.
6 Sélectionnez une vitesse ou
utilisez le bouton Pulse
(impulsion) (reportez-vous au
tableau des vitesses
recommandées).
7 Après avoir moulu, vous pouvez
remplacer l’ensemble porte-
lames par le couvercle du
moulin .
