IMPORTANT: Before you call for service, check the list of problems and solutions below:
1. Sparkling Beverage Maker does
not work:
• You might be out of CO2; replace your
CO2Cylinder by exchanging it for a
full SodaStream 60 L CO2Cylinder.
• Check that the carbonating bottle has
been lled up with water to the ll line.
• Ensure that the Sparkling Beverage Maker
is always in the upright position.
• CO2Cylinder may be loose. Do not use
tools. Detach the bottle, open the rear
cover, and retighten the CO2Cylinder.
Apply rm pressure but do not over
tighten. If the CO2Cylinder is already
rmly in place, it may be empty. Replace
with a full 60 L SodaStream CO2Cylinder.
WARNING: Use caution when removing
cylinder as it may be very cold.
2. Cannot pull bottle loader tab:
• Make sure Carbonation lever is in its fully
upward position.
• Pull bottle loader tab rmly towards you.
3. Cannot install the carbonating bottle:
• Make sure the carbonating lever is in its
fully upward position.
• Pull the bottle loader tab toward you
until it clicks.
• Insert bottle into Snap-Lock
• Push bottle up and back until it locks.
4. You hear CO2escaping from
the bottle during carbonation:
• Bottle may not be properly attached.
Allow the Sparkling Beverage Maker
to nish the carbonation process and
then you can detach the bottle and
reconnect it following the instructions
in the “Making sparkling water” section.
• It is normal to hear a small amount
of CO2discharge at the end of the
carbonating process.
5. You want to re-carbonate a drink
that was already carbonated:
WARNING: Never carbonate again
after you have added the flavour. You
may recarbonate only unflavoured
sparkling water.
6. If your Sparkling Beverage Maker
continues to release CO2after
carbonation is nished:
WARNING: Do not remove the cylinder
or the bottle. Leave the Sparkling Beverage
Maker in an upright position. Do not touch
it until you no longer hear CO2escaping.
When the Sparkling Beverage Maker is
no longer releasing CO2, remove the
carbonating bottle, and call for service.
