1. Install the Showerhead
Install a 1/2″pipe nipple to extend 5/8″(1.6 cm) beyond the
finished wall.
Apply a bead of plumbers putty or other sealant to the back of
the shower arm according to the putty manufacturer’s
instructions.
Thread the shower arm to the pipe nipple.
Use a clean strap wrench to securely tighten the shower arm.
Remove any excess plumbers putty.
Run hot and cold water through the shower arm to flush out dirt
and debris.
Apply thread sealant to the shower arm adapter.
Thread the showerhead to the shower arm.
Use a clean strap wrench to tighten the showerhead.
Check for proper operation.

Avant de commencer
Respecter tous les codes de plomberie et de bâtiment locaux.
Couper l’alimentation d’eau principale.

1. Installer la pomme de douche
Installer un mamelon de tuyau de 1/2″pour qu’il s’étende de
5/8″(1,6 cm) du mur fini.
Appliquer un lit de mastic pour plomberie ou un produit
d’étanchéité semblable à l’arrière du bras de douche selon les
instructions du fabricant du mastic.
Visser le bras de douche sur le mamelon du tuyau.
Fixer le bras douche avec une clé à sangle propre.
Retirer tout excédent de mastic de plombier.
Faire couler l’eau chaude et l’eau froide dans le bras de douche
pour évacuer tout débris.
Appliquer du ruban pour filetage à l’adaptateur du bras de
douche.
Visser la pomme de douche au bras de douche.
Utiliser une clé à sangle propre pour serrer la pomme de douche.
Vérifier la bonne opération.
