1. BEFORE YOU BEGIN
HOW TOUSE THESEINSTRUCTIONS
Please read these instructions carefully to familiarize
yourselfwiththerequiredtools,materials,andinstallation
sequences. Follow the sections that pertain to your
particular installation. This will help you avoid costly
mistakes. In addition to proper installation, read all
operating and safety instructions.
All information in these instructions is based onthe latest
product information available at the time of publication.

PREPARATION
Before starting the installation, lay out and identify all the
parts. Use the exploded view illustration on the following
page for reference.
Install shower receptor/module in accordance with instruc-
tions supplied with receptor/module. Finished wall material
should be completely installed at this time.
CAUTION: Risk of injury or product damage.
Tempered glass cannot be cut.
NOTE: For ease of installation,two peopleshouldinstall
shower enclosure.

3. INSTALLATION
A.REMOVEWALL JAMBS
Slide wall jamb off each return panel.
Place return panels out of way of installation on a clean
and non-abrasive surface (such as a drop cloth) to
prevent damage.

B. WALL JAMB INSTALLATION
Place masking tape along the top of the receptor curb.

Measurefromfinishedwallthespecificdimension“A”and
markapencillineonthereceptorledgeneartheadjoining
wall.
Repeat measurement for other side.
Align the outside edge of each wall jamb with the marks
madeon the receptor ledge. Using a level, plumb the wall
jambs and mark the four wall-mounting hole locations on
each wall with a pencil. “A” “A”

CAUTION: Risk of injury. Wear Safety Glasses.
Lightly center punch the four hole locations on each wall.
On ceramic tile, use a center punch to nick the surface
glaze. Tap the punch lightly with a hammer so as not to
crack the tile.
Drill all eight holes into the walls with a 5/16” drill bit. Use
a 5/16” masonry bit for ceramic tile.
After drilling holes, thoroughly clean the receptor ledge
and wall. Insert the hollow wall anchors into all four 5/16”
drilled holes. Repeat the procedure for the other side.
Install each wall jamb by aligning the wall jamb locator
holes with the holes in the wall. Secure wall jambs by
inserting four #8-18 x 1-1/4” panhead screws through
each wall jamb into the installed wall anchors.

C. INSTALL RETURN PANELS
Slide the return panels over each wall jamb as shown.

D.DETERMINE LEFT SIDEOR RIGHT SIDE
PIVOT
Determine whether the door will pivot on the left or the
right side. Make certain that the door path is free of
obstructions.
Toconvertbetweenaleft-handorright-handdoor,turnthe
door upside down.
All of the following illustrations are for a right pivot
door (panel swings open toward the right).

E. REMOVEGLASS PANEL FROM FRAME
NOTE: Two people should perform installation steps.
After determining if door is left or right sidepivot, carefully
lean door upright against a solid surface.
While supporting the glass panel, unscrew the top
capscrew with 3/16” hex wrench, and remove the pivot
insert, glass spacer and nut plate. The top pivot remains
inserted in the pivot body attached to the frame.

Carefully tilt the glass panel in and lift out of the bottom
pivot body - the bottom pivot will remain attached to the
glass panel.
Using care, place glass panel out of way of installation on
a clean and non-abrasive surface (such as a drop cloth)
to prevent damage. Do not set glass panel on its
corners.

Snap the frame cover/door seal out of each expander
jamb.
Set aside for later re-installation.

NOTE: Makesureleft-handor right-handpivothasbeen
determined (refer to step D. on page 4).
Remove the two #8-18 x 1-1/4” panhead screws located
at the outside edges at the top of each expander jamb
(inserted through the small spacer blocks).
Set all four screws aside for the next step.

H. INSTALL EXPANDERJAMB BRACKETS
Position one bracket inside the expander jamb with the
small bracket tabs facing downwards. Align the holes in
the tabs with the holes in the expander jambs and secure
bracketwithtwo#8-18 x 1-1/4”panheadscrewsremoved
in the previous step.
Eachscrewmustbeinsertedthroughthebracket,through
the small spacer block, and into the expander jamb.
Install second bracket repeating procedure for the
opposite expander jamb.

I. ATTACH PIVOT DOOR FRAME TO
RETURNPANELS AND ADJUST
Move the return panels forward and place pivot door
frame between the return panels.
Slide the corner post extrusions of each return panel into
the door frame expander jambs.
Fasten the corner posts to the door frame by tightening
the six nylon adjustment screws.
Adjust the door frame by turning the adjustment screws
located in the expander jambs. Turning the screws
counterclockwise increases door frame width. Turning
the screws clockwise decreases the width of the frame.
Expand the door/corner post evenly on both sides until it
is located at the desired position on the receptor/base.
Alternate turning the top and bottom adjustment
screws evenly on both sides to increase ordecrease
the door frame width.

J. FINAL ADJUSTMENTS
NOTE: The bottom of the door frame and return
panels should not be more than 1/8” out of
level over the entire width of the door and
panels. Shim if necessary.
Adjust the door frame and return panels for square, level
and plumb.
Make adjustments to the return panels by shifting panels
until level and square.
Use a level to insure that the door is plumb and square.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not
overtighten adjustment screws.
After the doorframe islevel, adjustthe middleadjustment
screws,beingcarefulnottoovertightenasthismaycause
the frame to bow.
K. SECURERETURN PANELS TO WALL
JAMBS
CAUTION: Risk of injury. Wear Safety Glasses.
From inside the shower enclosure, drill through the
internal panel frame and wall jamb extrusions (top and
bottom of each side), using a 1/8” drill bit.
Secure return panels to each wall using four #8-18 x 3/8”
panhead screws.

L.SECUREEXPANDER JAMB BRACKETS
After all adjustments have been made, secure the
expander jamb brackets on each side of the pivot door at
the top of the enclosure.
Insert two #8-18 x 3/4” panhead screws through the
bracket slots and into the corner post screwports and
secure. Repeat for other bracket.

M. RE-INSTALL GLASS PANEL
Insert the bottom pivot into the bottom pivot body of the
door frame and hold level. Re-assemble top pivot to top
pivot body, insert glass spacer into glass panel, insert
capscrew through glass spacer, re-attach nut plate and
thread capscrew into pivot insert.
Make small adjustments for squareness by shifting glass
panel and re-positioning until level.
After final adjustments have been made, hand-tighten
capscrew.
N. INSTALL HANDLES TO GLASSPANEL
Thread the 5/16-18 x 1-1/4” setscrew securely into the
inside door handle (round face).
Slide one of the glass inserts onto the setscrew with the
flatsidetowardsthehandleandplacesetscrewandglass
insert into hole of glass panel.
Slide the remaining glass insert over opposite end of the
setscrew (with raised side towards glass) and thread on
the outside handle until secure.
Removethe paper backing from the logo and apply tothe
outside door handle (flat face).

O.FRAMECOVER/DOOR SEAL
INSTALLATION
Pivot Side: Install the frame cover/door seal into the
expander jamb channel with the leg of the cover towards
the outside (dry side) of the shower.
Strike Side: Install the frame cover/door seal into the
expander jamb channel with the leg of the cover towards
the inside (wet side) of the shower.
NOTE: Make any final adjustments by adjusting the
centeradjustmentscrews(loosen/tighten)sothe
door panel will close firmly against the frame
covers/door seals. Refer to page 6, step I., for
adjustmentprocedure.Framecoverswillneedto
be removed to gain access to the adjustment
screws.

P. ATTACH DECORATIVE PIVOT COVERS
Place one of the O-rings into the groove located on the
capscrew of the top pivot assembly.
Place another O-ring in the pivot insert groove on the
opposite side of the glass panel.
DampenO-ringslightlyandpush a decorativepivotcover
into place on both sides.
Repeat procedure for bottom pivot assembly.

Q. INSTALL DRIP RAIL AND INSERT
The drip rail base should be on the bottom of the glass
panelwiththeflatsidetowardstheinside(wetside) of the
shower. If the drip rail is currently located at the top of the
glass panel, slide off both pieces and push onto the
bottom of the glass panel.
Slide the drip rail insert into the longer drip rail base,
through the length of base and into the smaller drip rail
base. Position insert cut-out around the edge of the
decorative pivot cover installed on the door panel.
Align each end of the drip rail insert with the ends of the
drip rail base and trim excess from each end. Trim the
short end of the insert back 1/2” (1.3cm) from the edge of
the glass to prevent interference with the door seal.

R.SEALING
Thoroughlycleanall dust,dirtandgreasefromthebottom
frameandshowerledgesurfacestobesealed.Makesure
surfaces are dry.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Apply
siliconesealant around the outside ofthe enclosure
only . Sealant applied to the inside of the enclosure
will cause leakage and damage.
Carefully apply a bead of silicone sealant around the
outside (dry side) of door where:
1) Bottom frame meets the shower ledge.
2) Wall jambs meet the shower walls.
