(GFCI), Earth-Leakage Circuit-Breaker (ELCB), or Residual Current Device (RCD).
WARNING : Risk of electrical shock. The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid
a hazard.

been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their

WARNING : The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication can greatly increase the risk of fatal hyperthermia.
Prolonged immersion in hot water may induce hyperthermia.

the appliance.
Building materials and wiring should be routed away from the pump body and other heat-producing components
of the unit.
Grounding is required. The unit should be installed by a qualied service representative, and grounded.
NOTE : Install to permit access for servicing.

CAUTION : If the bath will be idle for a long term, make sure the water in pipeline is drained completely.
The residual water may freeze in winter or go bad in summer.
CAUTION: If you nd the water supply pipe has been frozen, do not use the bath. You will need to raise
the room temperature and use it after the water is thawed.
CAUTION : Before use after long term idle condition, make sure to wash it for several times and the inner
pipelines are clean.
Use this whirlpool bath only for its intended purpose as described in this manual. Do not use aachments not
recommended by the manufacturer.
Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
WARNING : Unauthorized modication may cause unsafe operation or aect performance of the whirlpool.
Do not relocate the motor, or make other modications to the system in the absence of kit instructions, as
this could adversely aect the performance and safe operation of the whirlpool. Kohler Co. shall not be
liable under its warranty or otherwise for personal injury or damage caused by any such unauthorized
modication.
Product Information
Electrical Requirements
The installation must have two Class A Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupters (GFCI’s), Earth-Leakage Circuit-Breaker
(ELCB), or Residual Current Devices (RCD’s). The GFCI’s, ELCB’s, or RCD’s protect against line-to-ground shock
hazard. Use a 220-240 V, 20 A (minimum), 50/60 Hz dedicated service for the bath with airjets.
Plubing Requirements
The minimum inlet water pressure for the faucet diverter is 0.05Mpa (0.5 bar).
WARNING : Risk of damp. Silicone sealant shall be applied to connections of the drain pipe and the drainage
pipeline.
The whirlpool bath must be connected only to a supply circuit that is protected by a residual current device
(RCD). Such a RCD should be provide by the installer and should be tested on a routine basis. To test the RCD,
press test buon. The RCD should interrupt power. Press the reset buon. Power should be restored. If the RCD
fails to operate in this manner, the RCD is defective. If the RCD interrupts power to the bath without the test
buon being pressed, a ground current is owing, indicating the possibility of an electric shock. Do not use this
bath. Disconnect the bath and have the problem corrected by a qualied service representative before using.
Factory installed components include whirlpool pump with power supply cord, drain, controller, piping, water
level sensor, user keypad, and keypad cable. Other than power wiring and plumbing, no assembly is needed.

Before You Begin
CAUTION : Risk of product damage. Do not lift the bath by the piping or pump, or use the piping or pump
for structural support of the bath.
This bath is designed for freestanding installation.
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
Inspect the bath for damage before you begin installation.
Position a protective covering or similar material in the boom of the unit. Be careful not to scratch the bath
surface.
To simplify future maintenance, make sure all plumbing connections around the bath are easily accessible.
 Install the bath to an adequately supported, level, nished oor.
Flush the water supply pipes thoroughly to remove debris.
The illustrations shown may not represent your actual product. The installation instructions still apply.
Install the Bath
CAUTION : Risk of product damage. Do not lift the bath by the piping or pump, or use the piping or pump
for structural support of the bath.
Carefully move the bath into position.
NOTE : Allow for minimum 10 mm height gap on all aprons from nished oor for removing the aprons. It will
need to be adjusted.
 Remove the screw cap and loosen the screw of the apron as illustrated.
Push the upper part of the apron inwards, pull down the apron and it can be removed easily.
Prepare the Site
NOTICE : Do not lift the bath by the piping or pump, or use the piping or pump for structural support of the
bath. To avoid damage to the bath, lift at the sides of the bath.
 Apply the nished ooring material prior to installing the bath.
 Make sure the ooring oers adequate support for your bath, and verify that the suboor is at and level.
Position the plumbing according to rough-in dimensions. Cap the supplies and check for leaks.
Protect the bath surface by positioning a clean drop cloth in the basin boom.
CAUTION : Risk of personal injury. This bath is extremely heavy. Obtain sucient help to carefully lift
and move it.

Adjust the feet under the bath to make it level.
 Keep clearance of minimum 10 mm from nished oor to apron for removing the apron. Be careful with
the drain hose to prevent it to be squeezed.
 Tighten the nut to x the height of the bath.
Make sure the bath is level all top edges.

Install Plumbing
CAUTION : Risk of property and product damage. Ensure a watertight seal on the bath drain connections.
Faucet Installations
NOTE: Install the faucet valve according to the installation instructions included with the faucet.
 Refer the faucet position according to illustrated.
Open the hot and cold water valves, and check the supply connections for leaks.
Drainage Installations
The bath drain has been installed onto the bath before it leaves factory.
 When the bath is securely positioned, connect the exible pipe to the drain trap.
 Run water into the bath, and check the drain connections for leaks.
 Apply silicon sealant between the exible pipe and the outlet pipe.
Make Electrical Connection
DANGER : Risk of re, electric shock, or injury to persons. To reduce the risk of electric shock, connect
the pump to aproperly grounded Earth-Leakage Circuit-Breaker (ELCB), Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter
(GFCI), or Residual Current Device (RCD).
WARNING : Risk of re, electric shock, or injury to persons. When using electrical products, basic
precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Switch Function and Operation
WARNING : Risk of electric shock. Make sure the power has been disconnected before performing the
following procedures.
WARNING : Risk of re, electric shock, or injury to persons. Ensure the grounding is connected to the
electric system. Improper insertion, no insertion or no eective grounding can result in electric shock, re
of damage to your bath
 The whirlpool controls and system have been prewired at the factory. A qualified electrician must install
Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI), Earth-Leakage Circuit-Breaker (ELCB), or Residual Current Device
(RCD).
 Provide a separate equipment grounding conductor for the earth lug located inside the junction box.
The grounding conductor must not be connected to any current-carrying conductor. Follow local electrical
codes. Bond in accordance with national and local codes.

Bath Operation
A. Fill the Bath
NOTE: Please read these steps carefully before you operate your bath. Troubleshoot any problems using the
“Troubleshooting” section.
Turn the drain controller counterclockwise to close the drain.
Fill the bath to a level above the top of the higher jet around 50 mm.
NOTE: Massage function may fail to start if water level is too low.
CAUTION : Risk of product damage. Ensure that the area around the blower motor is free of sawdust,
insulation, dirt, or other small loose debris. Such material could clog the pump motor ducts and reduce the
air ow through the pump motor.
B. Keypad and Operation
Power On/Off
Press the buon “ ” on the user keypad to start the system and enter to standby mode. The red light is on.
Press the buon “ ” again to stop the system.
LED On/Off
Press the buon “ ” on the user keypad to turn on the LED light.
Press the buon “ ” again to turn o the LED light.
Whirlpool Pump On/Off
Press the buon “ ” on the user keypad to start the whirlpool pump. The red light is on, the back jets
are activated.
Press the buon “ ” again to stop the whirlpool pump. The back jets are deactivated.
When the water level lowers than the seing value, the whirlpool pump automatic stops working, at the same
time the red light of the buon “ ” is o. When anytime the water level achieve the seing value, the red light
is on again and the pump start to work.
Blower Pump On/Off
Press the buon “ ” on the user keypad to start the blower pump. The red light is on, the boom jets
are activated.
Press the buon “ ” again to stop the blower pump. The boom jets are deactivated.
NOTE: When any function buon works, there is a “beep” indication sound.

Test Run the Bath
Check all electrical connections.
Make sure all piping connections are secure.
Temporarily remove the plastic drop cloth or other protective sheeting from the bath.
Fill the bath to a level above the top of the higher jet around 50 mm.
 Refer to “Bath Operation” to make sure that every function works well.
 Operate the bath. Check all piping connections for leaks. Repair any leaks.
Stop the massage and drain water. Check the drain connections for leakage.
 Return the plastic drop cloth or other protective sheeting to the bath.
NOTE: Your spa has been factory tested and approved. It is the responsibility of the installer to test run the spa check
all the ings for leaks and test the control functions.
NON OBSERVANCE WILL INVALIDATE FACTORY WARRANTY.
Complete Installation
Insert the top of the aprons into the enclosement.
 Tighten the screws to secure the aprons to the bath, then x the caps.
Seal the joints between the bath rim edge and the wall with silicone sealant.
Install the Removable Pillows
NOTE: For best aachment to the bath surface, moisten the back surface of the pillows at the suction cup locations.
Clean the bath surface. Moisten the suction cups on the back side of the pillows. Position the pillows as
illustrated. Check to make sure that the pillows are aached rmly to the bath.
 Detach the pillows by lifting them o the bath surface.
CAUTION : Risk of product damage. Do not submerge the pillows underwater or use them as seat cushions.

Care and Cleaning
Flush the System
NOTE : To restore dull or scratched units : Apply white automotive polishing compound with a clean rag. Rub scratches
and dull areas vigorously. Wipe o residue. Follow with a coat of white automotive paste wax. Do not wax areas
where you walk or stand.
Use a mild detergent such as liquid dishwashing soap and warm water for cleaning. Do not use abrasive
cleaners that may scratch or dull the surface.
Carefully read the cleaner product label to ensure the cleaner is safe for use on the material.
Always test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area before applying to the entire surface.
Do not allow cleaners to sit or soak on the surface.
Wipe surfaces clean and rinse completely with water immediately after cleaner application. Rinse and dry
any overspray that lands on nearby surfaces.
Use a soft, dampened sponge or cloth. Never use an abrasive material such as a brush or scouring pad to
clean surfaces.
Cleaning Your User Keypad
Use a soft cloth to wipe the keypad after each use. If the surface becomes dirty, use a non-abrasive soap and warm
water to clean.
Flush your whirlpool system twice a month or more, depending upon usage.
Fill the bath with warm water to a level above the top of the higher jet around 50 mm, or leave water in the bath
after using.
Add 2 teaspoons of a low-foaming, powder automatic dishwashing detergent and 20 ounces of household
bleach (5% to 6% sodium hypochlorite) to the water.
Run the whirlpool for 5 to 10 minutes. Then shut o the whirlpool and drain the water.
If desired, rinse baths surfaces with water and use a soft cloth to wipe the product dry.
Clean-Up After Installation
Clean the area around the blower motor of all dust and debris.
Use warm water and a liquid detergent to clean the surface of the bath with airjets. Do not use abrasive
cleansers, as they may scratch and dull the surface. Do not use powdered cleaners unless the cleaner is
fully dissolved in water. Solid substances could block the airjets. Do not use bleach or ammonia cleaning
solutions. Chemically active cleaning solutions can damage the bath surface. Refer to the Care and cleaning
for normal cleaning recommendations.

SYMPTOMS PROBABLE CAUSES RECORRECTIVE ACTION
