Before You Begin
-Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
-Before installation, unpack the new faucet and inspect it for damage.
Return the faucet to the carton until you are ready to install it.
-Shut off the main water supply.
-Do not attach a dishwasher to the faucet spray outlet.
-Kohler Co. reserves the right to make revisions in the design of
faucets without notice, as specified in the Price Book.

1. Install the Mounting Stud
-Screw the mounting stud into the threaded hole at the bottom of the
faucet body. The mounting stud should extend slightly beyond the
threaded hole in the body.
2. Install the Escutcheon (optional)
NOTE:For installation on marble, do not use plumbers putty. Use
the self-adhesive gaskets provided. Remove the paper backing and
apply the gaskets (adhesive side down) over the outside holes.
-For 1-hole installations: The escutcheon, spacer, and O-ring are not
required. Slide the rubber washer over the faucet tubing and hose.
-Insert the faucet tubing and hose into the hole.
-For 3-hole installations: Apply a ring of plumbers putty to the
underside of the escutcheon.
-Insert the O-ring into the groove in the spacer.
-Slide the rubber washer, escutcheon, and spacer (O-ring side down)
over the faucet tubing and hose.
-Insert the faucet tubing and hose into the center hole, carefully
aligning the escutcheon. Press down on the escutcheon and remove
any excess putty.

3. Install the Faucet
-If you have not already done so, move the faucet into the install
position.
-From the underside of the sink, position the bracket, washer, and nut
onto the mounting stud. Position the faucet and escutcheon on the
sink to obtain the desired alignment. Tighten the nut securing the
faucet to the sink. For best access, use a ratchet wrench with 7/16”
deep socket.
NOTE:Theweightmustbeinstalledtoactasapullstop,andto
prevent kinking damage to the hose.
-For best performance, attach the weight to the hose 23” (58.4cm)
from the loose end of the hose. The weight may be moved to adjust
the pull-out length of the hose. Carefully tighten the weight screws.
Do not overtighten.
-Reconnect the hose to the hose connector.
4. Attach the Spray Hose (if applicable)
-Apply a bead of plumbers putty or other sealant to the hose guide
according to the putty manufacturer’s instructions.
-Insertthehoseguideintotheholeatthefarrightendofthesink.
Attach and tighten the hose guide nut.
-Insertthesprayhoseendthroughthehoseguidefromthetop.
-Secure the hose to the external threads on the spray tube.

5. Connect the Supplies
CAUTION: Risk of restricted water flow and product damage. Use
extreme care when bending the supply tubes to avoid kinking.
-Install the sink now, if necessary, using the sink manufacturer’s
instructions. Allow for required penetration of the supply tubes into
the supply stops. Cut the supply tubes as needed.
-Slide the coupling nut, then the ferrule, onto the copper tubing. Set
the compression fittings over the copper tubing. Handtighten the
coupling nuts.
-Slide a coupling nut, then a ferrule, onto each supply tube. Set the
compression fittings over the supply tubes. Handtighten the
coupling nuts.
NOTE:Do not apply torque to the supply fittings at the bottom of the
faucet while installing or tightening the compression fittings.
-Carefully bend the supply tubes to align them with the supply stops.
Slide a coupling nut first, then a ferrule, onto each supply tube.
Insert the supply tubes into the supply stop outlets. Tighten all
coupling nuts.
6. Installation Checkout
-Ensure that all coupling nuts are tight.
-Ensure that the lever handle is in the down position.
-Open the drain.
-Remove the aerator from the end of the spout.
-Turn on the main water supply, and open the valve for one minute to
flush the fitting.
-Reattach the aerator. Turn on the water and check for leaks. Repair as
needed.

7. Adjust the Temperature Setting
NOTE:Prior to adjustment, make sure the handle is in the
maximum hot position.
-Remove the setscrew, handle, and bonnet. Turn on the water to the
maximum temperature by pushing the valve stem up, and turning it
clockwise.
-Mark the current position of the temperature stop tab (top edge) on
the mounting nut with a marker or pencil. Lift the indexer and top
disc just enough to clear the valve splines and to allow rotation.
NOTE:Each spline notch is an average 9.5_F(5.3_C) change in
temperature.
-Turn the indexer, top disc, and valve stem counterclockwise until the
desired temperature is achieved. When desired temperature is
achieved, reinstall the indexer and top disc to the valve, making sure
the top disc is snapped fully into the indexer.
-Turn off the water by pulling the valve stem down. Reinstall the
bonnet, handle, and setscrew.

1. Installez les Montants de Support
-Vissez les tiges de support dans les trous filetés à la partie inférieure
du corps du robinet. Les tiges de support doivent dépasser
légèrement au-delà des trous et dans le corps du robinet.
2. Installez la Rosace (en option)
REMARQUE :Pour une Installation sur marbre, NE PAS utiliser
du mastic de plomberie. Utilisez les joints autocollants fournis.
Retirez le papier et appliquez les joints (Coté collant face vers le bas)
sur l’extérieur des trous.
-Installation Pour Évier Monotrous : La rosace, calles d’espacement,
et joint torique ne sont pas nécessaire. Glissez la rondelle en
caoutchoucsurletuyauestleflexibledurobinet.
-Insérezletuyaudurobinetetleflexibledansletrou
-Installation Pour Évier avec 3 Trous : Appliquez une bague de
mastic d’étanchéité à l’intérieur de la rosace.
-Logezlejointtoriquedanslarainuredelacale.
-Glissez la rondelle en caoutchouc, la rosace, le joint torique (face vers
lebas)surletuyauestleflexibledurobinet
-Insérez le tuyau et le flexible dans le trou central, alignez les rosaces
soigneusement. Appuyez sur les rosaces et enlevez tous excédents
de mastic.

3. Installez le Robinet
-Si cela n’est pas déjà fait, positionnez le robinet dans sa position
finale.
-Fixez les supports, rondelles et les écrous sur les montants du
support sous l’évier. Positionnez le robinet et la rosace sur l’évier
pour obtenir l’alignement désiré. Serrez l’écrou fixant le robinet à
l’évier. Pour un meilleur accès, utilisez une clé avec une douille de
7/16”.
REMARQUE :Les poids doivent être installés de façon à stopper le
coulissement extérieur, et pour prévenir le tuyau de se pincer.
-Pour une meilleur performance, attachez le poids au tuyaux 23”
(58,4 cm) à la boucle du tuyau flexible. Le poids peut être déplacé
pour régler la longueur du coulissage du tuyau flexible. Serrez
soigneusement les vis du contrepoids. Ne pas trop serrer.
-Reconnectez le tuyau à sa connexion.
4. Attachez le Tuyau Flexible (si possible)
-Appliquez du mastic de plomberie ou un autre produit d’étanchéité
au guide du tuyau suivant l’instruction de la notice du fabricant du
mastic.
-Insérezleguidedutuyaudansletrouàl’extrémitédroitedel’évier.
Attachez et serrez l’écrou du guide du tuyau.
-Insérez la fin du tuyau flexible par la partie supérieure du guide.
-Vissez le tuyau au filetage extérieur de la douchette.

5. Branchez les Arrivées
ATTENTION : Risque de restriction d’écoulement et
d’endommagement du produit. Faîtes très attention à ne pas trop plier
les tubes d’alimentation en les courbant pour éviter de les pincer.
-Installez l’évier maintenant en utilisant les directives du fabricant.
Prévoyez que les tubes d’alimentation d’eau doivent suffisamment
pénétrer dans les tubes d’alimentation des robinets d’arrêt. Coupez
les tubes d’alimentation comme nécessaire.
-Glissez l’écrou de raccordement, puis la bague de compression, sur
le tube en cuivre. Preparez le raccord de compression sur le tuyau en
cuivre. Serrez les écrous de raccordement à la main.
-Insérer un écrou de raccordement, puis bague de compression sur
chaque tuyau d’alimentation d’eau. Preparez le raccord de
compression sur le tuyau en cuivre. Serrez les écrous de
raccordement à la main.
REMARQUE :Nepasforcersurlesraccordsdelapartieinférieure
des robinets pendant l’installation ou le serrage des raccords de
compression.
-Courbez soigneusement les tubes d’alimentation pour les alignés
avec les robinets d’arrêt. Glissez un écrou de raccordement en
premier, puis la bague de compression sur chaque tuyau
d’alimentation. Insérez les tubes d’alimentation dans les sorties les
tuyaux d’arrêt. Serrez tous les écrous de raccordement.
6. Vérification de l’Installation
-Assurez-vous que tous les écrous de raccordement soient bien serrés.
-Assurez-vous que le levier du mitigeur soit en position abaissée.
-Ouvrez le drain.
-Retirezlebrisejetdel’extrémitédubec.
-Ouvrez l’alimentation d’eau général, et ouvrez les valves pendant
une minute pour remplir les tuyaux.
-Réinstallez le brise jet. Ouvrez les robinets d’arrivée d’eau principale
et vérifiez s’il y a des fuites. Réparez si besoin.
