Before You Begin
CAUTION: Risk of back injury. The tank must be installed
prior to moving the toilet into place. Because the tank is installed
prior to moving the toilet into place, the risk of injury when
installers move the toilet into place is greater.
IMPORTANT! Two people are required to lift this toilet into place,
as the tank must be installed prior to moving the toilet into the final
installation location.
IMPORTANT! This toilet does not fit standard toilet rough-ins.
Rough-in for this product is 7-1/2″(19.1 cm).
NOTE: The waste tube is meant to be attached to PVC tubing. It
will not attach properly to cast iron waste pipes.
This toilet does not install to a typical flange. It is designed to
install directly to PVC outlets only. No flange is needed.
Shut off the main water supply.
The supply location is not standard. Install the supply following
the rough-in diagram.

1. Rough-in Information
IMPORTANT! This toilet uses a 7-1/2″(19.1 cm) rough-in. Standard
10″(25.4 cm) and 12″(30.5 cm) rough-ins will not work with this
toilet.
IMPORTANT! The supply location is not standard, and must be
installed at the location shown.
Locate the waste outlet following the diagram.

2. Install the Tank
Position the sealing ring on the valve nut.
Position two carriage bolts in the notches on the mounting plate.
Thread the supplied supply hose onto the water inlet on the
bottom of the tank.
Position the tank on the bowl, aligning the carriage bolts with the
corresponding holes in the bowl and running the supply hose
through the corresponding hole.
Slide a washer onto each carriage bolt and thread a nut onto each
carriage bolt.
Wrench tighten. Do not overtighten.

3. Mark the Installation Location
IMPORTANT! Make sure the toilet is correctly positioned before
marking the tank fastener location and installation. The toilet will
not install correctly if it is improperly positioned.
Position the toilet in the installation location.
Make sure the toilet is positioned directly over the waste outlet.
Trace the base of the bowl on the floor.
Remove the toilet.
Cut the template along the outside line with a scissors.
Lay the template on the mounting location, matching the outside
edge with the line on the floor.
Use masking tape to hold the template in place.
Drill two 9/16″holes, 1-1/2″(3.8 cm) deep minimum, at the
locations marked on the template.

4. Install the Waste Tube
NOTE: The waste tube is meant to be attached to PVC tubing. It
will not attach properly to cast iron waste pipes.
If needed, position the adapter in the waste outlet and secure
with PVC cement.
IMPORTANT! The center of the waste tube must be exactly 7-1/4″
(18.4 cm) above the floor or the waste outlet on the toilet will not
align properly with the waste tube.
Connect the supplied waste tube to the waste outlet in the floor
and secure using PVC cement.
Allow the PVC cement to fully cure following the manufacturer’s
instructions.

5. Position the Toilet
CAUTION: Risk of back injury. Because the tank is already
installed, making the toilet heavy and awkward, two people
should move the toilet into place.
Carefully lift the toilet up.
IMPORTANT! When lowering the toilet, it should be positioned
with the waste tubing near the back of the bottom opening.
Hold the toilet over the waste tube and carefully lower it into
place, taking care not to disturb the waste tube.
Connect the supply hose to the supply stop. Turn the water on.
(There is shut-off valve in the toilet that should already be in the
closed position. Turn it off if the tank begins to fill.)
Check the supply hose and connections for leaks.
IMPORTANT! If the waste outlet and waste tube are not properly
aligned, the waste tube may shift, resulting in leaks.
Position the toilet on the centerline so the waste outlet is aligned
with the waste tube.
Carefully push the toilet back until it is flush against the wall,
making sure the waste outlet on the toilet engages with the
gasket on the waste tubing.

6. Install the Floor Bolts
Make sure the plastic anchor on the end of the bolt is relaxed and
not expanded.
Carefully run the bolt through one of the seat holes near the basin
of the toilet.
When the end of the bolt is properly positioned, the top of the
bolt will seat firmly in the hole, slightly below the level of the
toilet. If the bolt sits higher than the toilet, it is not properly
seated in the floor.
Repeat with the second bolt.
Using the provided hex wrench, evenly tighten each bolt until the
toilet is firmly held in place (confirm by trying to rock the toilet).

7. Install the Seat Brackets
Position the base on the bracket.
Position the mounting bolt through the hole in the bracket.
Thread the bolt into the opening in the center of the floor bolt.
Position the cap over the bolt.
Repeat with the second bracket.

8. Install the Seat
Position the seat hinges over the seat bracket and set the toilet
seat in place.
Lift the seat up, keeping the hinge in place.
Tighten the setscrews until the seat is firmly held in place.
9. Install the Flush Button
Open the shut-off valve. Make sure the tank fills correctly.
Set the tank lid into place.
Align the flush button in the hole in the lid and thread it into the
flush valve until the tank is firmly held in place.

Avant de commencer
ATTENTION : Risque de blessures au dos. Le réservoir doit
être installé avant de mettre le W.C. en place. Parce que le
réservoir est installé avant de mettre le W.C. en place, le risque
de blessures est plus grand lorsque les personnes déplacent le
W.C.
IMPORTANT ! Deux personnes sont requises pour soulever ce W.C.
et le mettre en place, car le réservoir doit être installé avant de
déplacer le W.C. et le mettre à son emplacement final d’installation.
IMPORTANT ! Ce W.C. n’est pas conforme aux raccordements
standards de W.C. Le raccordement pour ce produit est de 7-1/2″
(19,1 cm).

REMARQUE : Le tube d’évacuation est conçu pour être attaché à
une tuyauterie PVC. Il ne s’attachera pas correctement à des tuyaux
d’évacuation en fonte.
Ce W.C. ne s’installe pas à une bride typique. Il est conçu pour
une installation directe sur des sorties PVC uniquement. Aucune
bride n’est nécessaire.
Couper l’alimentation d’eau principale.
L’emplacement d’alimentation n’est pas standard. Installer
l’alimentation en suivant le diagramme de raccordement.
Respecter tous les codes de plomberie et de bâtiment locaux.
Kohler Co. se réserve le droit d’apporter toutes modifications sur

1. Information du plan de raccordement
IMPORTANT ! Ce W.C. utilise un raccordement de 7-1/2″(19,1 cm).
Des raccordements standards de 10″(25,4 cm) et 12″(30,5 cm) ne
fonctionneront pas avec ce W.C.

2. Installer le réservoir
Positionner le joint d’étanchéité sur l’écrou de valve.
Positionner deux boulons de carrosserie dans les encoches de la
plaque de montage.
Visser le tuyau d’alimentation fourni sur l’entrée d’eau à la base
du réservoir.
Positionner le réservoir sur la cuvette, en alignant les boulons de
carrosserie avec leurs orifices correspondants dans la cuvette et en
passant le tuyau d’alimentation à travers l’orifice correspondant.
Glisser une rondelle dans chaque boulon de carrosserie et visser
un écrou dans chacun d’eux.
Serrer avec une clé. Ne pas trop serrer.

3. Marquer l’emplacement de l’installation
IMPORTANT ! S’assurer que le W.C. soit correctement positionné
avant de marquer l’emplacement de la fixation du réservoir et de
l’installation. Le W.C. ne s’installera pas correctement s’il n’est pas
proprement positionné.
Positionner le W.C. à l’emplacement désiré.
S’assurer que le W.C. soit positionné directement sur la sortie
d’évacuation.
Tracer la base de la cuvette sur le sol.
Retirer le W.C.
Découper le gabarit le long de la ligne extérieure avec des
ciseaux.
Étaler le gabarit sur l’emplacement de montage, en combinant le
rebord extérieur avec la ligne sur le sol.
Utiliser du ruban cache pour maintenir le gabarit en place.
Percer deux orifices de 9/16″, 1-1/2″(3,8 cm) minimum de
profondeur aux emplacements indiqués sur le gabarit.

4. Installer le tube d’évacuation
REMARQUE : Le tube d’évacuation est conçu pour être attaché à
une tuyauterie PVC. Il ne s’attachera pas correctement à des tuyaux
d’évacuation en fonte.
Si besoin, positionner l’adaptateur dans la sortie d’évacuation et
sécuriser avec du ciment PVC.
IMPORTANT ! Le centre du tuyau d’évacuationdoit être
exactement de 7-1/4″(18,4 cm) au-dessus du sol ou de la sortie
d’évacuation sur le W.C. ne s’alignera pas correctement avec le
tuyau d’évacuation.
Connecter le tuyau d’évacuation fourni à la sortie d’évacuation au
sol et sécuriser avec du ciment PVC.
Laisser le ciment PVC prendre en suivant les instructions du
fabricant.

5. Positionner le W.C.
ATTENTION : Risque de blessures au dos. Parce que le
réservoir est déjà installé, rendant ainsi le W.C. lourd et peu
commode, deux personnes devraient déplacer et mettre en place
le W.C.
Soulever avec précaution le W.C.
IMPORTANT ! Lors du rabais du W.C., ce dernier devrait être
positionné avec la tuyauterie d’évacuation près de l’arrière de
l’ouverture de base.
Maintenir le W.C. au-dessus du tuyau d’évacuation et le baisser
avec précaution en place, en s’assurant de ne pas perturber le
tuyau d’évacuation.
Connecter le tuyau d’alimentation à l’arrêt d’alimentation. Ouvrir
l’eau. (Il devrait y avoir une valve d’arrêt dans le W.C. déjà en
position fermée. Fermer si le réservoir commence à se remplir.)
Vérifier le tuyau d’alimentation et les connexions pour déceler
des fuites.
IMPORTANT ! Si la sortie et le tuyau d’évacuation ne sont pas
proprement alignés, ce dernier pourrait bouger, résultant en fuites.
Positionner le W.C. sur la ligne centrale de manière à ce que la
sortie d’évacuation soit alignée avec le tuyau d’évacuation.

Pousser délicatement le W.C. jusqu’à ce qu’il soit également
contre le mur, s’assurant que la sortie d’évacuation du W.C.
s’engage avec les joints de la tuyauterie d’évacuation.

6. Installer les boulons de sol
S’assurer que l’ancrage en plastique à l’extrémité du boulon soit
relâché et non étendu.
Passer délicatement le boulon dans un des orifices su siège à côté
du bassin du W.C.
Lorsque l’extrémité du boulon est proprement positionné, le
dessus du boulon reposera fermement dans l’orifice, à peine sous
le niveau du W.C. Si les deux boulons reposent plus hauts que le
W.C., il ne repose pas correctement au sol.
Répéter les procédures pour le second boulon.
En utilisant la clé hexagonale fournie, serre également chaque
boulon jusqu’à ce que le W.C. soit fermement maintenu en place
(confirmer en essayant de bouger le W.C.).
