Before You Begin
CAUTION: Risk of back injury. The tank must be installed
prior to moving the toilet into place. Because the tank is installed
prior to moving the toilet into place, the risk of injury when
installers move the toilet into place is greater.
IMPORTANT! Two people are required to lift this toilet into place,
as the tank must be installed prior to moving the toilet into the final
installation location.
IMPORTANT! This toilet does not fit standard toilet rough-ins.
Rough-in for this product is 7-1/2″(19.1 cm).
NOTE: The waste tube is meant to be attached to PVC tubing. It
will not attach properly to cast iron waste pipes.
This toilet does not install to a typical flange. It is designed to
install directly to PVC outlets only. No flange is needed.
Shut off the main water supply.
The supply location is not standard. Install the supply following
the rough-in diagram.

1. Rough-in Information
IMPORTANT! This toilet uses a 7-1/2″(19.1 cm) rough-in. Standard
10″(25.4 cm) and 12″(30.5 cm) rough-ins will not work with this
toilet.
IMPORTANT! The supply location is not standard, and must be
installed at the location shown.
Locate the waste outlet following the diagram.

2. Install the Tank
Position the sealing ring on the valve nut.
Position two carriage bolts in the notches on the mounting plate.
Thread the supplied supply hose onto the water inlet on the
bottom of the tank.
Position the tank on the bowl, aligning the carriage bolts with the
corresponding holes in the bowl and running the supply hose
through the corresponding hole.
Slide a washer onto each carriage bolt and thread a nut onto each
carriage bolt.
Wrench tighten. Do not overtighten.

3. Mark the Installation Location
IMPORTANT! Make sure the toilet is correctly positioned before
marking the tank fastener location and installation. The toilet will
not install correctly if it is improperly positioned.
Position the toilet in the installation location.
Make sure the toilet is positioned directly over the waste outlet.
Trace the base of the bowl on the floor.
Remove the toilet.
Cut the template along the outside line with a scissors.
Lay the template on the mounting location, matching the outside
edge with the line on the floor.
Use masking tape to hold the template in place.
Drill two 9/16″holes, 1-1/2″(3.8 cm) deep minimum, at the
locations marked on the template.
Trace the base of toilet.

4. Install the Waste Tube
NOTE: The waste tube is meant to be attached to PVC tubing. It
will not attach properly to cast iron waste pipes.
If needed, position the adapter in the waste outlet and secure
with PVC cement.
IMPORTANT! The center of the waste tube must be exactly 7-1/4″
(18.4 cm) above the floor or the waste outlet on the toilet will not
align properly with the waste tube.
Connect the supplied waste tube to the waste outlet in the floor
and secure using PVC cement.
Allow the PVC cement to fully cure following the manufacturer’s
instructions.

5. Position the Toilet
CAUTION: Risk of back injury. Because the tank is already
installed, making the toilet heavy and awkward, two people
should move the toilet into place.
Carefully lift the toilet up.
IMPORTANT! When lowering the toilet, it should be positioned
with the waste tubing near the back of the bottom opening.
Hold the toilet over the waste tube and carefully lower it into
place, taking care not to disturb the waste tube.
Connect the supply hose to the supply stop. Turn the water on.
(There is shut-off valve in the toilet that should already be in the
closed position. Turn it off if the tank begins to fill.)
Check the supply hose and connections for leaks.
IMPORTANT! If the waste outlet and waste tube are not properly
aligned, the waste tube may shift, resulting in leaks.
Position the toilet on the centerline so the waste outlet is aligned
with the waste tube.
Carefully push the toilet back until it is flush against the wall,
making sure the waste outlet on the toilet engages with the
gasket on the waste tubing.

6. Install the Floor Bolts
Make sure the plastic anchor on the end of the bolt is relaxed and
not expanded.
Carefully run the bolt through one of the seat holes near the basin
of the toilet.
When the end of the bolt is properly positioned, the top of the
bolt will seat firmly in the hole, slightly below the level of the
toilet. If the bolt sits higher than the toilet, it is not properly
seated in the floor.
Repeat with the second bolt.
Using the provided hex wrench, evenly tighten each bolt until the
toilet is firmly held in place (confirm by trying to rock the toilet).

7. Install the Seat Brackets
Position the base on the bracket.
Position the mounting bolt through the hole in the bracket.
Thread the bolt into the opening in the center of the floor bolt.
Position the cap over the bolt.
Repeat with the second bracket.
