USING
When using electrical products, especially when children are present,
basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
IMPORTANT! Risk of product damage. Do not install this product
in a location exposed to excessive moisture where condensation
might form on the product surface. Provide adequate ventilation
when bathing to avoid damage to the electronic components due to
high humidity levels.
IMPORTANT! Risk of product or property damage. Pushing or
pulling on the water connection may cause water leakage.
IMPORTANT! Risk of product damage. Do not apply excessive
force to the spray wands.
IMPORTANT! Risk of product damage. In areas where water may
freeze in the pipes, make arrangements to keep the pipes warm.
Any water remaining in the seat may freeze during winter storage.
Allow the unit to warm to room temperature before reinstalling or
using.
IMPORTANT! Risk of product damage. Do not supply electrical
power to the unit until the plumbing installation work has been
completed, as it may cause the product to malfunction.
NOTE: The thermal protectors may trip during storage or
transportation in warm weather causing the unit to not operate.
Allow the unit to cool to room temperature before installation or
operation.
DANGER: To reduce the risk of electrocution:
Do not place or store this product where it can fall or be pulled
into a bath or sink.
Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
Do not reach for a product that has fallen into water. Unplug
immediately.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire,
or injury to persons:
Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by or
near children, the elderly, or invalids. Adjust the temperature of
the seat for the elderly, those who are incapacitated, or persons
with sensitive skin.
Use this product only for its intended use as described in this
manual. Only use attachments recommended by Kohler Co.
Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it
is not working properly, if it has been dropped, damaged, or
dropped into water. Return the product for examination and
repair.
Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
Never block the air openings of the product or place it on a soft
surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be
blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
Never use while sleeping or drowsy.
Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.
Do not use outdoors or where aerosol spray products are being
used or where oxygen is administered.
Connect this product to a properly grounded outlet only. See the
“Grounding Instructions” section.
This product conforms to applicable provisions of US 21 CFR,
Chapter 1, Subchapter J, Radiological Health.

NOTE: Make sure that three AAA batteries are installed correctly in
the remote control.
NOTE: Replace the batteries if the battery indicator display blinks.
A - Battery: Replace the remote control batteries when the low
battery indicator is lit.
B - Deodorize: The deodorize feature turns on automatically
when the seat is occupied. Press the ″DEODORIZER″icon a
second time to turn off the feature, or the deodorizer will turn off
automatically about 1 minute after the user leaves the seat.
C - Clean: Press the ″CLEAN″icon to start the nozzle and spray
wand cleaning cycle. During the ″CLEAN″cycle, the nozzle will
move back and forth three times, and stop in the fully extended
position. You can then manually clean the nozzle and spray
wand. See the ″Clean the Spray Wand″section for detailed nozzle
and spray wand cleaning instructions.
D - Eco: Press the ″ECO″icon to turn on the power-saving
setting. When the ″ECO″feature is selected, the seat and water
temperature will be turned off during periods when the seat is
not in use. The seat and water temperature will turn on
automatically when the seat is in use.
E - Power: Press the ″POWER″icon to disable the other remote
control icons. Press the icon a second time to enable the remote
control icons.
F - Stop: Press this icon to stop the front wash, rear wash, dryer,
massage, or nozzle cleaning features.
G - Rear: Press the ″REAR″icon once to activate the rear wash
feature for 2 minutes. The spray will begin at the pressure setting
from last use. Press the icon a second time to change the pressure.
There are three water pressure settings: Low, Medium, and High.
The water pressure setting last used will be saved for the next
use.
H - Front: Press the ″FRONT″icon once to activate the front wash
feature for 2 minutes. Press the icon a second time to change the
pressure. There are three water pressure settings: Low, Medium,
and High. The water pressure setting last used will be saved for
the next use.

I - Dry: Press the ″DRY″icon to turn on the heated air dryer
feature. The dryer will stop after about 5 minutes, or you can
touch the ″STOP″icon to turn off the dryer feature at any time.
With the dryer running, press ″DRY″icon again to adjust the
warm air temperature. You can adjust the warm air temperature
to one of four settings: Off, Low, Medium, or High.
J - Massage: Press the ″MASSAGE″icon to start the 1-minute
high-pressure rear massage feature.
K - Child: Press the ″CHILD″icon to activate the automatic child
user features. The water pressure, water temperature, seat
temperature, and dryer temperature will all operate at their
lowest settings. The child wash feature will run for 1 minute, and
the dryer will operate for 2 minutes. Except for water pressure,
you can adjust all the Child mode features during operation.
L - Water: With the front, rear, or massage features running, press
the ″WATER″icon to adjust the water temperature setting. You
can adjust the water temperature control to one of four settings:
Off, Low, Medium, or High. The setting last used will be saved
for the next use.
M - Seat: Press the ″SEAT″icon to adjust the seat temperature
setting. Press the icon again to change the seat temperature. You
can adjust the seat temperature control to one of four settings:
Off, Low, Medium, or High. The setting last used will be saved
for the next use.
N - Position: Press the ″POSITION″icon while the rear wash
feature is running to adjust the nozzle position. Press the icon
again to change the nozzle position. There are three nozzle
positions available. The setting last used will not be saved for the
next use.
O - Move: Press the ″Move″icon while either the front, rear, or
massage cleansing features are running to initiate back and forth
nozzle oscillation.
P - Stop: Press the ″STOP″icon to turn off the front and rear
wash features.
Q - Rear: Press the icon to activate the rear wash feature. Press
the icon a second time to start the spray wand oscillation feature.
Rear wash operation will stop automatically after 2 minutes, and
can be resumed by pressing the icon again. See the ″Remote
Control Operation″section to adjust the spray wand position.

R - Front: Press the icon to activate the front wash feature. Press
the icon a second time to start the spray wand oscillation feature.
Front wash operation will stop automatically after 2 minutes, and
can be resumed by pressing the icon again. See the ″Remote
Control Operation″section to adjust the spray wand position.

Clean the Spray Wand
Raise the lid and seat.
Press the ″CLEAN″icon. The spray wand will move back and
forth three times and stop in the fully extended position.
Use a soft and clean sponge, brush, or rag to carefully clean the
spray wand.
Press the ″STOP″icon to retract the spray wand. The seat is now
ready for its next use.
Clean the spray wand with a soft-bristled brush and hot water.

Clean the Filter Screen
NOTE: Clean the filter screen every 6 months or when there is a
reduction in the maximum water flow from the spray wand.
Turn off the water at the supply stop.
Flush the toilet to relieve water pressure.
Disconnect the water supply hose from the seat connection.
Clean the filter screen with a soft-bristled brush.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not cross-thread the hose
connection to the inlet.
Reconnect the water supply hose to the inlet, one-quarter turn
past hand tight.
Turn on the water supply.
Check all connections for leaks, and make any adjustments as
needed.

Remove the Seat
IMPORTANT! When removing the seat for cleaning, use care to
avoid exerting any force on the hose connections.
Press the release button.
Slide the seat forward to access the area around the mounting
plate. Avoid putting pressure on the hoses.
Clean the area as needed.
To reinstall, slide the seat back until it engages the mounting
plate.
Troubleshooting
This troubleshooting guide is for general aid only. A Kohler Co.
Authorized Service Representative or qualified electrician should
correct any electrical problems.
For warranty service, contact the Customer Care Center using the
numbers located on the back page of this manual.

Warranty
KOHLER Intelligent Toilet and C3 Cleansing Seat Three-Year Limited
Warranty
Kohler Co. warrants that its toilets with integrated cleansing
functionality (″Intelligent Toilets″) and electric cleansing seats will be
free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential
use for three years from the date the product is installed. This
warranty applies only to intelligent toilets and electric cleansing seats
installed in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico (″North
America″).
If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will, at its
election, repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make
appropriate adjustment where Kohler Co.’s inspection discloses any
such defect. Damage caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not
covered by this warranty. Improper care and cleaning will void the
warranty*. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided
to Kohler Co. with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible
for labor charges, installation, or other incidental or consequential costs
other than those noted above. In no event shall the liability of Kohler
Co. exceed the purchase price of the intelligent toilet or electric
cleansing seat.
If the intelligent toilets or electric cleansing seats are used
commercially or are installed outside of North America, Kohler Co.
warrants that the intelligent toilet or electric cleansing seat will be free
from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the
date the product is installed, with all other terms of this warranty

REMARQUE: S’assurer que trois piles AAA sont installées
correctement dans la télécommande.
REMARQUE: Remplacer les piles si l’écran de l’indicateur de piles
clignote.
A - Piles: Remplacer les piles de la télécommande lorsque
l’indicateur de piles faibles est allumé.
B - Désodoriser: La fonction de désodorisation se met en marche
automatiquement lorsque le siège est occupé. Appuyer une
deuxième fois sur l’icône ″DÉSODORISANT″pour désactiver la
fonction, sinon le désodorisant s’arrêtera automatiquement au
bout d’une minute environ après que l’utilisateur ait quitté le
siège.
C - Nettoyer: Appuyer sur l’icône ″NETTOYER″pour démarrer le
cycle de nettoyage de la buse et de la baguette de vaporisation.
Pendant le cycle ″NETTOYER″, la buse effectuera un mouvement
de va-et-vient trois fois, puis s’arrêtera dans la position
entièrement prolongée. La buse et la baguette de vaporisation
peuvent alors être nettoyées manuellement. Voir la section
″Nettoyer la baguette de vaporisation″pour obtenir des
instructions détaillées sur le nettoyage de la buse et de la
baguette de vaporisation.
D - Éco: Appuyer sur l’icône ″ECO″pour activer la configuration
d’économie d’énergie. Lorsque la fonction ″ÉCO″est sélectionnée,
la température du siège et de l’eau sera désactivée pendant les
périodes où le siège n’est pas utilisé. La température du siège et
de l’eau sera activée automatiquement lorsque le siège est utilisé.
E - Marche/Arrêt: Appuyer sur l’icône ″MARCHE/ARRÊT″pour
désactiver les autres icônes de la télécommande. Appuyer sur
l’icône une deuxième fois pour activer les icônes de la
télécommande.
F - Arrêt: Appuyer sur cette icône pour arrêter les fonctions de
lavage avant, de lavage arrière, de séchoir, de massage ou de
nettoyage de la buse.
G - Arrière: Appuyer sur l’icône ″ARRIÈRE″une fois pour activer
la fonction de lavage arrière pendant 2 minutes. Le vaporisateur
commencera au réglage de pression utilisé la dernière fois.
Appuyer sur l’icône une deuxième fois pour changer la pression.
Le dispositif comprend trois réglages de pression: Basse,
Moyenne, et Haute. Le dernier réglage de pression utilisé sera
sauvegardé pour la prochaine utilisation.

H - Avant: Appuyer sur l’icône ″AVANT″une fois pour activer la
fonction de lavage avant pendant 2 minutes. Appuyer sur l’icône
une deuxième fois pour changer la pression. Le dispositif
comprend trois réglages de pression: Basse, Moyenne, et Haute.
Le dernier réglage de pression utilisé sera sauvegardé pour la
prochaine utilisation.
I - Sécher: Appuyer sur l’icône ″SÉCHER″pour activer la
fonction de séchoir à air chauffé. Le séchoir s’arrêtera au bout de
5 minutes, ou il est possible de toucher l’icône ″ARRÊT″pour
désactiver la fonction de séchoir à n’importe quel moment. Avec
le séchoir en fonctionnement, appuyer de nouveau sur l’icône
″SÉCHER″pour ajuster la température de l’air chaud. La
température de l’air chaud peut être ajustée à l’un des quatre
réglages suivants: Désactivée, Basse, Moyenne, ou Haute.
J - Massage: Appuyer sur l’icône ″MASSAGE″pour démarrer la
fonction de massage arrière à haute pression de 1 minute.
K - Enfant: Appuyer sur l’icône ″ENFANT″pour activer les
fonctions automatiques d’un utilisateur enfant. La pression de
l’eau, et les températures de l’eau, du siège et du séchoir
fonctionneront à leurs réglages les plus bas. La fonction de lavage
enfant fonctionnera pendant 1 minute et le séchoir fonctionnera
pendant 2 minutes. Sauf pour la pression de l’eau, toutes les
fonctions du mode Enfant peuvent être ajustées pendant le
fonctionnement.
L - Eau: Avec les fonctions avant, arrière ou de massage en
fonctionnement, appuyer sur l’icône ″EAU″pour ajuster le
réglage de la température de l’eau. La commande de température

N - Position: Appuyer sur l’icône ″POSITION″pendant que la
fonction de lavage arrière est en marche pour ajuster la position
de la buse. Appuyer de nouveau sur l’icône pour changer la
position de la buse. Trois positions de buse sont disponibles. Le
dernier réglage utilisé ne sera pas sauvegardé pour la prochaine
utilisation.
