INSTALLATION IN VEHICLE:
1. Buckle the seat belt where the booster seat will be installed.
Clip Headrest Strap (a) to Headrest Strap Clips (c) on
sides of Skybox frame (g 4) and loop over the top of the
headrest. Use the Strap Adjuster (b) to select a suitable
height for your Skybox.
2. Wrap Seat back Strap (d) around the back of the seat and
clip buckles together. Pull strap to tighten. (g 5)
3. Follow instructions on back (g 6) to secure Skybox Tether
(e) once Fido is attached you are ready to roll.
INSTALLATION IN VEHICLE WITHOUT HEADREST:
1. Buckle the seat belt where the booster seat will be installed.
Clip Headrest Strap (a) to Headrest Strap Clips (c) on sides
of Skybox frame (g 4) and loop over the top of the seat.
Extend the length of the Headrest Strap (a) so the bottom
of Skybox Booster Seat rests on seat.
2. Wrap Seat back Strap (d) around the back of the seat and
clip buckles together. Pull strap to tighten. (g 5)
3. Follow instructions on back (g 6) to secure Skybox Tether
(e) once Fido is attached you are ready to roll.
Check with vehicle manufacturer
for air bag guidelines.
BASIC SETUP
1. Place bottom of U-shaped steel support brace into the bottom back of of the Skybox frame under the removable
liner, with the two ends facing up and toward the front at a 45º angle. (image 1)
2. Place ends of U-shape steel support through button holes at the top front of the Skybox frame, inside each of these holes is a
plastic tube which the ends of the U-shape steel support t into. (image 2 and 3)
3. Place the liner into the Skybox frame and fold edge over. You will nd three slits in the liner, one in the back that
the metal buckle for securing Skybox Tether (e) pulls through and one on each side for the Headrest Strap (a) to attach.
4. Place reversible Quilted Seat Pad in the bottom, on top of the liner.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
• Brush off loose dirt with a dry brush.
• As needed, wipe off with a damp sponge and mild soap. Skybox liner and pad machine washable, hang to dry.

Here are some of the most common issues owners have with the Skybox Booster
Seat and some training tricks I would recommend to solve the issues:
Problem: Anxious dogs stand up on the front of the booster seat,
and don’t stay seated.
Training Tip: Start when your dog is tired after exercise and ready to nap. Give any
rewards or treats in the bottom of booster. The dog will typically lay down to get the
treat, learning that treats come from inside the booster seat and providing more
reasons to stay put.”

USING THE TETHER WITH YOUR VEHICLE’S SEAT BELT
1. Loop strap around the seatbelt and pull through handle
2. Pull strap through slide located in the back of the
Booster Seat
3. Hook carabiner to strap and attach to Harness leash hook
WARNING: After clipping the Skybox Tether Strap to a dog
harness adjust the length of the strap to keep dog from jumping out.
Always use a harness with the Skybox, (Kurgo Tru-Fit Smart Harness
recommended) collars are not suitable for automotive restraint.
Never leave a dog unattended in the vehicle.
