3. Mac OS Computer Settings
Ⅰ. Download Octoprint for Mac OS from kywoo3d.com. (The file is quite big, please be
patient.)
Ⅲ. Open the folder → select Octoprint Mirror file→ double-click balenaEtcher.dmg to
install the program.
Ⅱ. Insert the TF card into the computer, and format the TF card. (If necessary, please
backup relevant files before formatting.)
Ⅳ. Open the program after installed. Click Flash from file to upload img mirror file( which is in
the folder of Octoprint Mirror File).

Ⅴ. Click Select target, check the TF card in the pop-up screen and then click Select.
Ⅵ. Click Flash, and when it's finished loading, insert the TF card into the Octoprint
control board.
Ⅶ. Connect the Octoprint accessories as shown in the figure, insert the TF card into the
control board, turn on the 3D printer. The control board indicator and the network interface
lights on, and the fan works normally. Then wait for 3 minutes (for the mirror file to be
flashed into the board).

Ⅷ. Configuration of the board: Turning on the WiFi on your phone, and find the hotspot of
the board( name: MyAccessPoint, password: 12345678.)
Open the mobile browser, enter 10.0.0.1:8001 in the address bar, click Start, enter the
home WiFi name and password on the web page, and click Add to complete the network
configuration.

Ⅸ. Open App Store on the computer, search IP Scanner, and click GET.

Ⅹ. Open the IP Scanner, it will automatically search the IP addresses around you. After
searching finished, find “network camera”and click it. You can see the Local DNS is kywoo3d
in the right device info list. Please write down the IP address.

XI. Open the Google Chrome, input the IP address into the address bar, then it will enter the
Octoprint login page. Input the account and the password: kywoo3d, and click Log in, then it
will enter to the home page of the Octoprint.
XII. The home page is like below. After connecting the USB cable, click Connect to connect to
the printer.
