Introduction
Decide on a suitable location for your ClassBuddy Wall to be mounted. The unit
must be fixed to a solid wall or directly to studs if the unit is being fitted to a
non-solid wall. The use of hollow wall or plaster board type fixings are not
recommended. Allow space above and below the wall unit for ventilation.
Ensure that you check the wall prior to any drilling and fixing for electrical cables
or other services that may be in the wall/void. Make sure the the unit is at an
acceptable user height.
Choose a suitable fixing for the wall that you are fixing to and ensure that you use
a minimum of 8 of the possible 16 fixing positions available.
(Ensuring an even distribution as possible).
IMPORTANT Two persons are required to carry out the installation.
Tools required
• Power or battery type Drill (hammer required for solid walls)
• Drill-bit to suit your fixing type (refer to manufacturer’s instructions)
• Pencil/Pen (to mark hole positions)
• Spirit level
• Hammer
• Screwdriver/Power Driver
• Vacuum cleaner

Step 1: Stand Up
Once unpacked, stand the unit up and ensure you have a clear working space
around all sides.

Step 2: Open Doors
Open the le hand side door with the white key, and then open the right hand
side door with the blue key.

Step 3: Unscrew holding nuts
On the bottom right hand side of the unit there are two holding nuts that need to
be unscrewed, these are just finger tight. Once you have done this, lock the doors
back up.

Step 4: Unhook Mounting Bracket
Unhook the mounting bracket by tilting the ClassBuddy Wall forward and pushing
the mounting bracket down.

Step 5: Level The Mounting Bracket
Hold the mounting bracket up against the wall with the bottom lip facing towards
you and use a spirit level (or similar) to make sure the bracket is level on the wall
and ensure the hanging slots are at the top.
(You may need two people for this)
Step 6: Mark Drill Holes
Use a pencil or marker to mark all the fixing holes then remove the Mounting
Bracket.

Step 7: Drill Holes
Drill the required holes in accordance with the fixing manufacturers instructions.
(ensure an even distribution of fixings and use a minimum number of 8)
Step 7: Insert Fixings
Fit fixings into place in accordance to the manufacturers instructions.

Step 8: Screw Mounting Bracket
Place the mounting bracket back onto the wall with the bottom lip facing towards
you, and screw your fixings into place.
(In accordance to the manufacturers instructions)
Step 9: Hook ClassBuddy Wall
Once the mounting bracket is secured li the ClassBuddy Wall into place there are
six hooks along the sides that the unit should slide onto. (Two people are required to
li the ClassBuddy Wall.)
Ensure that ClassBuddy Wall is hooked correctly and that the three lower studs
are threaded through the fixing holes before gently releasing the unit.

Step 10: Secure
Once in place, open both doors again (Step 2) and screw the two holding nuts on
to the studs that you removed in (Step 3).
Complete
Your new ClassBuddy Wall should now be successfully installed onto your wall
and you are now ready to load your cables and devices. Please refer to your user
guide that supplied with your indigowall for further information and read our
health and safety guidance on page 9.
