SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
MAINTENANCE AND WARRANTY
When unpacking, ensure that the following parts are included:
WARNING: All packaging materials, such as adhesive tape, plastic sheets, strings and labels are not part
of the product and should be discarded.

panion. Always at your side, he interacts with you,
puts you to sleep and wakes you up gently. He even
lights up in your room !
PLEASE READ BEFORE OPERATING THIS EQUIPMENT.
Before using the unit, be sure to read all operating instructions carefully. Please note that these are
general precautions and may not pertain to your unit.
1. Read this Instruction Manual before you attempt to connect or operate the appliance.
2. Keep these instructions in good condition. Heed all warnings. Follow all instructions.
3. Save this Instruction Manual for future reference.
4. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such
as vases, shall be placed on the product. Dry location use only.
5. No naked flame source, such as candles, should be placed on the product.
6. Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings.
7. Only use accessories, which are specified by the manufacturer.
8. Use replacement parts, which are specified by the manufacturer.
9. Install the unit in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
10. Place the unit where there is good ventilation. Place the system on a flat, hard and stable surface.
Do not expose to temperatures above 104°F. Allow at least 4 inches clearance from the rear and
the top of the unit and 2 inches from each side.
11. Press the players buttons gently. Pressing them too hard can damage the player.
12. Dispose of used batteries in an environmental-responsible manner.
13. Always ensure that the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet before moving or cleaning.
Clean it with dry cloth only.
14. Turn off the product during lightning, storms or when it will not be used for long periods of time.
15. This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair this product yourself. Only
qualified service personnel should perform servicing. Take the product to the electronics repair
shop of your choice for inspection and repair.
16. NEVER let anyone, especially children, push anything into holes, slots or any other openings in
the unit’s casing as this could result in a fatal electric shock.
17. Do not place the unit near TVs, speakers and other objects that generate strong magnetic fields.
18. Do not leave the unit unattended when it is in use.
19. Keep minimum distances around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation.
20. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as
newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
21. The use of apparatus in moderate climates.
22. Batteries should be disposed properly. Take them to the collection container in order to protect the
environment.

The alarm clock works with a mains adapter (included) of 5.0V 1000 mA

Power supply
1. Check that the unit is switched off.
2. Insert one end of the AC cable into the power socket on the back of the machine.
3. Connect the other end of the AC cable to a wall outlet.
Correct disposal of batteries in this product(Applicable in countries with separate collection systems)
This symbol means that the product contains a battery covered by European Directive 2013/56/EU which cannot be disposed of with
normal household waste.All batteries should be disposed separately from the municipal waste stream via designated collection facilities
appointed by the government or the local authorities. The correct disposal of your old batteries will help to prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment, animal and human health. Inform yourself about the local separate collection system for electrical and
electronic products and batteries. Follow local rules and never dispose of the product and batteries with normal household
waste. For more detailed information about disposal of your old batteries, please contact your city office or waste disposal
service center.
Note: This toy contains battery that is non-replaceable (CR2032).
WARNING: Malfunction or loss of memory may be caused by strong frequency interference or electrostatic discharge.
Should any abnormal function occur, unplug the AC adapter from the mains socket and plug it back in.
Warning: Disconnect the adapter if the game is not used for a long period of time to prevent overheating. When the game is powered by
an adapter, do not play outside. Check the state of
the adapter and the connection cords regularly.
If their condition is deteriorating, do not use the adapter until it has been repaired. The toy shall
only be used with a transformer for toys. The adapter is not a toy. The device should be disconnected from the power supply to be cleaned
if liquids are used for cleaning. The toy is not intended for children under 3 years old. Misuse of transformer can cause electrical shock.
Parental advisory: transformer and adaptor for toys are not intended to be used as a toy. The usage must be under parental advice.
Only use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the unit. Do not use detergent. Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight or any other
heat source. Do not immerse the unit in water. Do not dismantle or drop the unit. Do not try to twist or bend the unit.
Note: Please keep this instruction manual, it contains important information.

For any claim under the warranty or after sale service, please contact your distributor and present a valid proof of purchase. Our
warranty covers any manufacturing material and workmanship defect, with the exception of any deterioration arising from the
non-observance of the instruction manual or from any careless action implemented on this item (such as dismantling, exposition
to heat and humidity, etc.). It is recommended to keep the packaging for any further reference. In a bid to keep improving our
services, we could implement modification on the colours and the details of the product shown on the packaging.

Time setting :
Talking alarm clock function :
When snooze is enabled for an alarm, 'zZ' appears on the display to the right of the alarm 1 or 2 icon.
When the alarm is activated and the alarm time is reached, the alarm will automatically sound for one minute at the selected
ringtone and volume. To stop the alarm before the minute is up, simply press any button. However, this does not work if the
snooze option is enabled. The alarm will go off again the next day if you have left it in actif mode.

Press and hold button 8. The Coach Leon alarm clock offers a choice between 24-hour and 12-hour mode.
Press 2 or 3 to change mode. Press button 8 to select. The time setting is activated. Press 2 or 3 to set the hour and 8 to select.
Repeat the same procedure to select the minutes.
Press and hold button 7 (respectively 9.). Press buttons 2 or 3 to select the hour and press 7 (respectively 9.) to confirm. Repeat
this same procedure for the minutes. The Coach Leon alarm clock then asks you to choose the ringtone. Press buttons 2 or 3 to
change the ringtone and 7 (respectively 9.) to select. The alarm clock will then prompt you to choose the volume of the alarm.
Press on the ears 2 or 3 to change the volume and 7 (respectively 9.) to confirm. Then choose whether you want to activate the
SNOOZE option or not by selecting ON/OFF on the display using buttons 2 and 3 to change and 7 (respectively 9.) to select.
Having selected the alarm time, Coach Leon proposes to automatically select the bedtime by the same process. Use buttons 2
and 3 to scroll through the options and 7 (respectively 9.) to validate your choice. Leon then proposes to decide if you want to
activate the sunrise or sunset function by selecting ON or OFF with buttons 2 and 3 to change mode and 7 (respectively 9.) to
select. See the section 'Sunrise/Sunset Function' for more information
To activate alarm 1 or 2 for wake-up or bedtime, briefly press button 7 (respectively 9.) . The icon appears on the display
when the alarm is activated and disappears when the alarm is deactivated. Press button 7 (respectively 9.) again to deactivate
the alarm.
If the sunrise/sunset function is activated (ON), the Coach Leon alarm clock will progres-
sively decrease its brightness 30 min before the bedtime to simulate a sunset.
If the sunrise/sunset function is activated (ON), the Coach Leon alarm clock will progres-
sively brighten up 30 min before the alarm time to simulate a sunrise.
To deactivate this function (OFF), press 7 (respectively 9.) and return to the sunrise/sunset
time setting
To make the Coach Leon alarm clock speak, press both ears simultaneously (buttons 2 and 3), or press and hold button 1
To activate nap mode, briefly press button 6 . Then use the two ears (buttons 2 and 3) to select the desired nap time.
Press 6 again to confirm. You can choose between 15, 30, 45, 62, 90, 120 minutes.
The following icon then appears on the screen.
To stop the nap alarm once it has sounded, press any button. The nap mode is then deactivated.
To exit nap mode before the selected nap time has elapsed, simply press the 6 button
To activate the story mode, briefly press button 4.
You can choose from a catalogue of 62 stories.

You can choose 4 melodies to relax or have fun with.
To activate Melody mode, press twice on the Stories 4 button . A melody will then be played and the number of the
melody will be displayed on the digital display of the alarm clock. To change melody press button 3 for next and 2 for previous.
To exit the melody mode during playback, press the Story button 4 again. The alarm clock will exit the melody mode
automatically when the selected music is finished playing
If 12-hour is chosen: If 24-hour is chosen:
•To switch on the mood lights, press button 5 briefly . Leon then lights up and the colours alternate automatically
(alternative colour mode by default).
•To switch off the lights, press button 5 again briefly.
•To select the desired light colour, press the ears (Button 2 or 3). The selected colour will remain frozen until you select the
alternative colour mode again with buttons 2 or 3.
•To adjust the intensity of the light, keep button 5 pressed . The available intensity levels are then displayed on the screen
one by one. You can choose an intensity level from 1 to 4. Release button 5 when the desired intensity level is reached.
•Once the ambient light mode is activated, the desired lighting duration can be selected by briefly pressing button 1 at the top of
the product. It is possible to choose between 15, 30, 45, 62 minutes of lighting by pressing button 1 several times. Once the
desired lighting time is shown on the display, release button 1.

To change story, press buttons 2 and 3 briefly. To change the story from 10 to 10, press and hold buttons 2 and 3.
The number of the selected story is displayed on the screen. To 'Pause' a story, press button 1. Press button 1 again to return
the story to 'Play'.
To change the volume level, press and hold this same button 1. The 4 different volume levels will scroll on the screen.
Release button 1 when you have reached the desired volume level. If the story is paused during this operation, press 1 again
briefly to return to 'Play'.
To exit story mode, briefly press button 4. To select a story and bookmark it in favourites, press button 4 for a long time.
