ALIMENTATION
Le « Barbie Dance Mat Party » fonctionne avec 4 piles alcalines LR6 de 1,5V d'une capacité
de 2.25 Ah (non incluses).
Ce jeu doit être alimenté avec les piles spécifiées uniquement.
Installation des piles
1. S’assurer que le jeu est éteint avant d’installer les piles.
2. Ouvrir la porte du compartiment à piles situé au dos de l’appareil (voir
l’image à droite) en utilisant un tournevis.
3. Installer les 4 piles alcalines LR6 ou AA en
respectant le sens des polarités indiqué au fond
du compartiment à piles et conformément au
schéma ci-contre.
4. Refermer le compartiment à piles et resserrer la
vis.
Ne pas utiliser de piles rechargeables. Ne pas recharger les piles. Retirer les accumulateurs du
jeu avant de les recharger. Ne charger les accumulateurs que sous la surveillance d'un adulte. Ne
pas mélanger différents types de piles ou accumulateurs, ou des piles et accumulateurs neufs et
usagés. Les piles et accumulateurs doivent être mis en place en respectant la polarité. Les piles et
accumulateurs usagés doivent être enlevés du jouet. Les bornes d'une pile ou d'un accumulateur ne
doivent pas être mises en court-circuit. Ne pas jeter les piles au feu. Retirer les piles en cas de non
utilisation prolongée.
Quand le son s’affaiblit ou que le jeu ne réagit plus, pensez à changer les piles

Certaines personnes sont susceptibles de faire des crises d’épilepsie ou d’avoir des pertes de

médecin avant toute utilisation.
Nous conseillons aux parents d’être attentifs à leurs enfants lorsqu’ils jouent avec des jeux vidéo.
Si vous-même ou votre enfant présentez les symptômes suivants : vertige, trouble de la vision,
contraction des yeux ou des muscles, perte de conscience, trouble de l’orientation, mouvement
involontaire ou convulsion, veuillez immédiatement cesser de jouer et consulter un médecin.

DÉCOUVERTE DE « BARBIE DANCE MAT PARTY »
Composition
MISE EN ROUTE ET UTILISATION
1. Installation
Déballer le jeu et essuyer la poudre
non adhésive sur la surface du tapis de
danse.
Installer les piles comme énoncé dans
la section ‘alimentation’.
Déposer l’unité sur l’endroit désiré (voir
les instructions de sécurité).
Poser le tapis sur un plancher propre
en utilisant du ruban adhésif double
(5 rouleaux sont fournis). Apposer du
ruban adhésif sur chaque coin du tapis
comme indiqué sur l’image.
Note : de meilleurs résultats sont
obtenus en plaçant le tapis de danse
sur un plancher de bois, linoléum ou
tuiles. Poser l’unité sur un tapis pourrait
réduire la performance du jeu.

2. Branchement à un téléviseur
Vous trouverez à l’intérieur de la boîte
du jeu un adaptateur péritel (voir
l’image dans le coin supérieur droit)
permettant le branchement du jeu à
votre télé via la prise péritel si votre
poste n’a pas de prise RCA. Assurez-
vous que votre téléviseur est éteint lors
du branchement.
Branchement de l’adaptateur péritel
Branchez l’adaptateur péritel dans la
prise péritel située au dos de votre
poste télé. Assurez-vous d’aligner
les extrémités correctement. Ensuite,
branchez le câble audio vidéo à trois
branches dans la prise correspondante
de l’adaptateur. Mettre votre télé au
poste A.V. (Vidéo).
Branchement à la prise RCA
Branchez le câble audio vidéo à trois
branches sur le devant de votre télé.
Assurez-vous de correspondre les
couleurs de chacune des branches du
câble audio vidéo avec les couleurs sur
la prise RCA.
Mettre votre télé au poste A.V. (Vidéo).
3. Mise en marche
Assurez-vous que votre téléviseur est
allumé et mis au poste AV (Vidéo).
Mettre en marche l’unité en appuyant
sur la touche “POWER” (voir l’image
sur la gauche) et l’écran de départ
ainsi que la musique d’accueil suivront.
Appuyer “START” sur le tapis de jeu
pour accéder au menu de sélection.

4. Utilisation du tapis de danse
Les touches “START” et “SELECT”
sont situées respectivement dans les
coins supérieurs droits et gauches
du tapis. “START” est utilisé pour
commencer une partie sélectionnée
tandis que “SELECT” est utilisé afin
de retourner au menu de sélection
après une partie. Tenez-vous au centre
du tapis et utilisez vos pieds pour
appuyer sur “START”, “SELECT” et les
flèches de direction pour activer les
jeux sur la télé.
La touche “RESET” est située à la
droite de la touche “POWER” et
permet de réinitialiser la partie en
cours à tout moment.
Note: Il est conseillé de porter des
chaussettes pour jouer au “Barbie
Dance Mat Party” afin d’améliorer vos
pas de danse. Les chaussures peuvent
endommager les composantes à
l’intérieur du tapis de danse.
5. Sélectionner un jeu
Pour sélectionner un jeu, suivez le
menu à l’écran et utilisez vos pieds
pour appuyer sur les flèches áâ
du tapis pour déplacer l’icône ‘CD’.
Appuyez sur “START” pour entrer
dans un menu de jeu désiré.

6. Pour jouer au Jeu de Danse (Dancing Game)
Utiliser âá pour sélectionner
“Dancing Game” à partir du
menu de sélection et appuyer sur
“START”.
Appuyer ßà pour choisir une
chanson parmi les 8 choix offerts.
Vous pouvez aussi choisir un
niveau de difficulté en appuyant
sur les flèches âá. Vous avez le
choix entre 6 niveaux différents.
Les niveaux de difficulté sont
affichés par un icône de ‘petits
pas’. Le nombre de ‘petits pas’
augmente avec le niveau de
difficulté choisi. Appuyez de
nouveau sur “START” quand vous
êtes prêt à commencer la partie.
Après avoir appuyé sur “START”,
veuillez patienter quelques
secondes et des flèches
apparaîtront à l’écran. Ces flèches
se déplacent vers des flèches
fixes situées sur le cadre du haut
de l’écran. Suivez le rythme de
la musique et lorsqu’une flèche
mobile touche une flèche fixe,
appuyez avec vos pieds sur
la position correspondante du
tapis. Votre score sera affiché
en haut de l’écran pendant
que vous dansez. À la fin de la
partie, chacune de vos tentatives
sera évaluée selon les critères
suivants : parfait (‘perfect’),
bon (‘good’), mauvais (‘bad’) et
manqué (‘miss’).
Le score le plus élevé remporte
la partie.
Pour commencer une autre
danse, appuyez sur “START”
pour retourner à la liste des
chansons et puis “START” de
nouveau. Pour quitter le jeu,
appuyez sur
“START” et ensuite “SELECT”.

7. Jouer à K.O. (Knock Out)
Utilisez les flèches âá pour
sélectionner le jeu “Knock Out”
sur le menu à l’écran et appuyez
sur “START”. Appuyez à nouveau
sur “START” pour commencer la
partie.
Lorsqu’un petit animal sort
d’un trou, utilisez les flèches
correspondantes sur le tapis pour
piétiner sa tête. Votre rapidité à
bouger vos pieds déterminera
le niveau de difficulté. Quand
vous parvenez à franchir les
niveaux supérieurs, les animaux
bougeront plus rapidement et
parfois de façon simultanée.
Pour réinitialiser la partie, appuyez
sur “RESET” sur le tapis ou
appuyez sur ‘OFF’ et puis ‘ON’.
8. Jouer au “Pinball”
Utilisez âá pour sélectionner
le jeu “Pinball” dans le menu de
sélection et appuyez sur “START”.
Sur le tapis de danse, appuyez
sur â durant une seconde pour
relâcher la première balle. Utilisez
les flèches ßà pour manipuler
les barres de contrôle du côté
droit et gauche de l’écran. Après
avoir échoué trois tentatives, vous
perdez.
Pour réinitialiser la partie, appuyer
sur “RESET” sur le tapis ou
appuyer sur ‘OFF’ et puis ‘ON’.

ENTRETIEN
Pour nettoyer le jeu, utiliser uniquement un chiffon doux légèrement imbibé d’eau, à l’exclusion de
tout produit détergent.
Ne pas exposer le jeu à la lumière directe du soleil ni à toute autre source de chaleur.
Ne pas le mouiller ni le déposer sur un plancher mouillé.
Ne pas le démonter, ni le laisser tomber.
Retirer les piles si le produit ne va pas être utilisé pendant une longue période.

POWER SOURCE
The Barbie Dance Mat Party works with 4 alkaline 1.5V 2.25 Ah batteries type AA (not
included).
This game must be powered using only the specified batteries.
Installing the batteries
1. Make sure the game is switched off before installing the batteries.
2. Open the battery compartment cover located at the back of the
equipment (see the opposite picture) by using a screwdriver.
3. Install the 4 type LR6 or AA alkaline batteries
observing carefully the polarity indicated at the
bottom of the battery compartment, and as per
the diagram shown opposite.
3. Close back the battery compartment and
tighten de screw.
Do not use rechargeable batteries. Do not recharge the batteries. Remove the battery pack from
the game before recharging it. The battery pack should only be charged under the supervision of an
adult. Do not mix different types of batteries or battery packs. Similarly, do not mix new batteries or
battery packs with used ones. Batteries and battery packs should be installed observing carefully their
polarity. Worn batteries or battery packs should not be left in the game. Please remove them. Do not
short-circuit terminals from batteries or battery. Do not throw batteries into a fire. Remove the batteries
if you are not going to use the game for a long period of time.
When the sound becomes faint or the game does not respond, think about replacing the batteries.
WARNING REGARDING EPILEPSY
To be read before attempting to use a video game, either by you or your child.
Some people are susceptible to suffer epileptic fits or to loose consciousness when looking at certain
types of flashing lights or elements commonly present in our everyday environment. These people
are exposed to fits when watching certain images on television or they play some video games. This
phenomenon can become apparent even if the person has no previous medical history of such, or has
never suffered an epileptic fit.
If you or a member of your family has shown in the past any symptom linked to epilepsy (either a fit or
loss of consciousness) when exposed to “luminous” stimulation, please consult with your doctor prior
to any attempt to use this game.

DISCOVERING “BARBIE DANCE MAT PARTY”
Components
START UP AND OPERATION
1. Installation
Unpack and wipe off the non stick
powder on the surface of the dance
mat.
Install the batteries as prescribed in
the power source section.
Place the unit in the desired location
(see safety instructions).
Fix the mat on a clean, hard floor
using the double-sided tape (5
rolls are provided). Fix the tape at
each corner as shown on the picture.
Note: best results are obtained by
placing the dancing mat on wood,
linoleum or tiled floors. Placing the
mat on a carpet may reduce the
performance of the game.

2. Connection to a T.V.
You will find in the game box a scart
converter (see picture in the top right
corner) allowing the connection to your
TV set via the scart inlet if the TV does
not have R.C.A. sockets.
Ensure your TV is switched off during
the connection.
Connection to the Scart outlet
Plug the scart converter into the scart
socket on the back of your TV. Ensure
you align the pins correctly. Then plug
the 3 way colour coded cable to the
corresponding socket on the converter.
Set your TV set to the A.V. (Video)
channel.
Connection to the RCA outlet
Plug the 3 way cable (RCA) into the
three sockets on the front or rear of
your TV. Ensure you connect the colour
coded cable to the corresponding
colours on the socket.
Set your TV set to the A.V. (Video)
channel.
3. Starting up
Ensure your TV is switched on and set
to the AV channel.
Turn the unit on by pressing the
“POWER” button (see picture on the
left) and a welcoming screen and
music will follow. Press “START” on the
mat to access the selection menu.

4. Using the dancing mat
The buttons “START” and “SELECT”
are located on the top right and left
corners respectively on the mat.
“START” is used to start a selected
game, while “SELECT” is used to
return to the selection menu after
a game. Stand in the centre of the
mat and use your feet to press the
“START”, “SELECT” and arrow keys to
activate the games on TV.
The “RESET” button is located on
the right of the “POWER” button
and allows you to reset the game at
anytime.
Note: It is advised to wear socks while
playing “Barbie Dance Mat Party” to
improve your dance moves. Shoes can
damage the components inside the
mat.
5. Selecting a game
To select a game, follow the on screen
menu and use your feet to press the
âá on the mat to move the ‘CD’ key.
Press “START” on a game to enter.

6. Playing the “Dancing Game”
Use the âá to select “Dancing
game” on the selection menu and
press “START”.
Press ßà to select a song out of
the 8 choices.
You can also select a difficulty
level by pressing âá arrows.
There are 6 different levels to
choose from. The difficulty levels
are represented by feet icons.
The number of feet increases with
the chosen difficulty level. Press
“START” again once you are
ready to begin the game.
After you press “START”, wait for
a few seconds and arrows will
appear on the screen. The arrows
move towards a fixed arrow on
the top of the screen frame.
Follow the rhythm of the music
and when the moving arrows
touch a fixed arrow, step on the
matching position on the mat.
Your score will be displayed
on the top of the frame as you
dance. At the end of the game,
each of your attempts will be
evaluated using the following
scores: PERFECT, GREAT, GOOD,
BAD AND MISS. The highest
score wins.
To start another dance, press
“START” to return to the song list
and then “START” again. To exit,
press “START” then “SELECT”.

7. Playing the “Knock Out” game
Use the âá to select the “Knock
Out” game on the TV screen
menu and press “START”. Press
“START” again to begin the game.
When an animal peeks outside
its hole, use the corresponding
arrows on your mat to jump on
its head.
Your ability to move your feet will
determine the level of difficulty. As
you cross the different levels, the
animals will move more quickly
and sometimes simultaneously.
To reset the game, press “RESET”
on the mat or turn the game off
and then on again.
8. Playing the “Pinball” game
Use the âá to select the
“Pinball” game on the TV screen
menu and press “START”.
On the mat, step on â for one
second to release and shoot the
first pinball.
Use the ßà arrows to control the
right and left bars on the screen.
After three failed attempts, you
are game over.
To reset the game, press “RESET”
on the mat or turn the game off
and then on again.

MAINTENANCE
In order to clean the game, use only a soft cloth moistened with water; do not use any detergent
product.
Do not expose the game to direct sunlight or to any other source of heat.
Do not get the game wet and do not lay the mat on a wet floor.
Do not dismantle or drop the game.
Remove the batteries if the product is not going to be used for an extended period of time.

For any claim under the warranty or after sale service, please contact your distributor and present a
valid proof of purchase. Our warranty covers any manufacturing material and workmanship defect,
with the exception of any deterioration arising from the non-observance of the instruction manual
or from any careless action implemented on this item (such as dismantling, exposition to heat and
humidity, frequent and vigorous jumping on the mat, etc.). It is recommended to keep the packaging
for any further reference.
In a bid to keep improving our services, we could implement modification on the colours and the
details of the product shown on the packaging.
Not suitable for children under 36 months old, as it contains small detachable elements which could
be swallowed.

STROMVERSORGUNG
Die Barbie Tanzparty funktioniert mit 4 Alkali- 1.5V 2.25 Ah Batterien des Typs LR6 oder AA
(nicht inbegriffen).
Dieses Spielzeug darf nur mit den beschriebenen Batterien betrieben werden.
Batterien einsetzen
1. Schalten Sie das Spiel aus bevor Sie die Batterien einsetzen.
2. Öffnen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung an der Rückseite des Spiels
(siehe Abbildung), indem Sie einen Schraubenzieher benutzen.
3. Setzen Sie 4 Typ LR6 oder AA Alkali-Batterien
ein und beachten Sie dabei die Polaritätangabe
auf dem Boden des Batteriefachs bzw. auf der
nebenstehen-den Abbildung.
4. Schließen Sie das Batteriefach und ziehen Sie die
Schraube fest.
Bitte verwenden Sie keine wiederaufladbare
Batterien. Versuchen Sie nicht, normale Batterien
wiederaufzuladen. Entfernen Sie den Batterie-Pack aus dem Spielzeug, bevor Sie ihn aufladen. Der
Batterie-Pack darf nur unter Aufsicht Erwachsener geladen werden. Batterien oder Batterie-Packs
nicht mischen. Ferner, neue Batterien oder neue Batterie-Packs nicht mit gebrauchten mischen.
Batterien and Batterie-Packs unter genauer Beachtung ihrer Polarität einsetzen. Gebrauchte Batterien
oder Batterie-Packs sollten nicht im Spielzeug belassen werden. Bitte entfernen. Anschlußklemmen für

LERNE DEINE “BARBIE TANZPARTY” KENNEN
Komponente
AUFSTELLEN UND BEDIENEN
1. Aufstellen
Tanzmatte auspacken und das Anti-
Haft-Pulver abwischen. Die Batterien
einsetzen, wie oben beschrieben
(Stromversorgung).
Legen Sie die Matte dort hin, wo Sie
mit ihr zu spielen gedenken (Lesen Sie
hierzu den Sicherheitshinweis).
Die Matte auf einem sauberen, harten
Untergrund mit dem Doppelklebeband
(5 Rollen werden mitgeliefert)
befestigen.
Das Klebeband an jedem Ende
anbringen, siehe nebenstehende
Abbildung.
Bitte beachten: Am besten geeignet
ist hierfür ein Holz-, Linoleum- oder
Fließen-Boden. Bei Teppich kann sich
die Qualität des Spiels verändern.

2. Anschluß an ein Fernsehgerät
In der Spielzeugverpackung befindet
sich ein scart-Konverter (Abb. Rechts
oben), mit dem Sie das Spiel an Ihren
Fernseher anschließen können, falls
dieser keine RCA-Buchsen hat. Das
Fernsehgerät bleibt während des
Anschließens ausgeschaltet.
Anschluß an die scart-Buchse
Stecken Sie den scart-Konverter in
die scart-Buchse hinten an Ihrem
Fernsehgerät ein. Dabei auf die richtige
Anordnung der Stecker-Pins achten.
Stecken Sie dann das Dreifach-Kabel
den Farben entsprechend in die
Buchsen des Konverters.Stellen Sie
Ihren Fernsehr auf AV (Video)-Kanal
um.
Anschluß an die RCA-Buchsen
Stecken Sie das Dreifach-Kabel (RCA)
in die 3 Buchsen vorn oder hinten
am Fernseher ein. Achten Sie dabei
darauf, daß Sie der Farbkodierung
entsprechend vorgehen.
Stellen Sie Ihr Fernsehgerät auf AV
(Video-Kanal).
3. Es kann losgehen
Das Fernsehgerät ist eingeschaltet und
auf AV umgestellt (Abb. links). Schalte
das Spielzeug ein, indem Du auf
“POWER” drückst. Eine Anzeige heißt
Dich willkommen und es ertönt Musik.
Drücke auf “START” auf der Matte, um
ins Auswahl-Menü zu gelangen.

4. Benutzung der Tanzmatte
Die Tasten “START” und “SELECT”sind
jeweils in der rechten oder linken
oberen Ecke der Matte. Drücke auf
“START”, um ein ausgewähltes Spiel
zu starten. Mit “SELECT” kehrst Du
zum Auswahlmenü zurück. Stelle Dich
ins Zentrum der Matte und benutze
Deine Füße, um “START”, “SELECT”
und die Pfeile zu drücken und damit
die Spiele im Fernseher zu aktivieren.
Der “RESET”-Knopf befindet sich

5. Auswahl eines Spiels
Um ein Spiel auszuwählen, befolge
die Anweisungen auf der Anzeige und
verwende Deine Füße , um áâ auf
der Matte zu drücken und damit das
CD-Symbol zu bewegen. Auf “START”
drücken, um in ein Spiel zu gelangen.

6. Tanzen zum “Dancing Game”
Mit âá das Tanzspiel im Menü
auswählen und auf “START”
drücken.
Drücke auf ßà , um eines der
8 Lieder auszuwählen.
Der Schwierigkeitsgrad kann
ebenfalls verändert werden,
durch Drücken der âá -Pfeile.
Es gibt 6 Schwierigkeitsgrade.
Diese werden durch Fuß-
Symbole angezeigt. Mehr
Füße bedeuten höherer
Schwierigkeitsgrad. Auf
“START” drücken, sobald Du
zum Spiel bereits bist.
Nachdem Du “START”
gedrückt hast, warte bitte ein
paar Sekunden bis Pfeile auf
dem Bildschirm erscheinen.
Die Pfeile bewegen sich auf
einen feststehenden Pfeil auf
dem oberen Bildschirmrand
zu. Folge dem Rhythmus der
Musik. Sobald ein beweglicher
Pfeil einen fixen Pfeil trifft, trete
auf die entsprechende Stelle auf
der Matte.
Der Spielstand (score) wird
ganz oben auf dem Bildschirm
angezeigt, während Du tanzst.
Bei Spielende, wird jeder
der Tanzversuche wie folgt
bewertet:
PERFECT, GREAT, GOOD, BAD
AND MISS
(perfekt, super, gut, schlecht,
daneben). Es gewinnt der
höchste Spielstand.
Um den nächsten Tanz zu
beginnen, drücke auf “START”,
um zur Liederauswahl zurück
zu gelangen. Nochmals“START”
drücken. Zum Aussteigen,
bitte erst “START” und dann
“SELECT” drücken.
