1. Tools
- Tools must have insulated grips.
- Tools should have minimal exposed metal.
-Insulation tape should be attached on the exposed metal of the tools.
-Socket wrench & 10mm nut -Insulation shoes -Insulation gloves

2. Disassembling RESU 10H
Open the wiring box cover(about 2~10 degrees),
and pull to remove it
Make sure the internal battery breaker(also the AUX power switch
RESU10H-SEG models) is in OFF position.
Important : If the battery is connected to the inverter make sure
the inverter switch is off.

Remove the top cover prying up at the back corners
Remove the inside top cover using a socket wrench and a 10mm bolt. 6Nm torque for dis-and re-assembly

* Loosen 6 Hexagonal bolts (Marked red circles) * Disassemble the plug-in connector (Marked red circles)

3. Checking Battery Voltage
Set the Voltmeter to DC voltage

Measure voltage across the positive and negative of the fuses

4. Checking for Blown Fuse
Disconnect battery cable from DC/DC converter

Verify the resistance of the fuses (+) and (-).
The value should be 0.2 ±0.1 Ω

5. Using the Portable Charger
Plug in power cable for power supply and turn on breaker switch

Push on the power button

Voltage is pre-set to 151-153 volts. Verify voltage.

Adjust limited voltage if needed using two knobs on the right. This should not be necessary unless dials were moved after the charger was
shipped
Connect power cable to battery, then press green power button in. Do NOT connect to DC/DC converter.
Push the power button “off”

qVoltage will increase over time. Charging will take 30 mins to one hour. If
you have difficulty see the “troubleshooting” page which follows.
When plugged in to battery, charger will display current voltage of battery. This reading should increase, rapidly at first and then
slowly until the target voltage is reached. If voltage does not increase, turn the current knob (far left knob) slowly to the right, to five
amps.

Troubleshooting
Your charger should be ready to use out of the case. However, if difficulties arise,
try the following steps:
1. Turn unit off (green switch out)
2. Turn “O.V. Set” knob (second from left) all the way to the right
3. Turn “current” knob (far left knob) all the way left
4. Turn unit on (green switch in)
5. Turn far-left “current” knob approximately ¼ turn right
6. Using far right “voltage” knob, set charger to 151 volts
7. Turn charger off (green switch out)
8. Plug unit in to RESU battery
9. Turn unit on (green switch in)
10. Turn “current” knob right to approximately 5 amps
11. Battery should now be charging. As battery reaches 151 volts, amperage will
taper down.
