Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LINDY HDMI 1.3b Switch Inc Remote Control. This high
performance switch allows you to connect either 2 or 4 HDMI or DVI devices to a single
HDMI/DVI equipped TV or projector.
Designed for Home Theatre/Cinema installations, the HDMI Switch Remote is fully 13.b &
HDCP compliant, supports digital multi-channel audio and HDTV resolutions of up to 1080p.
Switching between devices is achieved using the push button on the switch or the supplied
infra-red remote control.

Notes on using DVI equipped devices: To connect devices equipped with DVI
connections, you can use either modular DVI/HDMI adapters or DVI/HDMI adapter
cables. Be aware that DVI is a ‘video only’ interface – no audio signals will be switched
by the HDMI Switch Remote when using DVI devices!
Connection & Operation
Rear Panel Connections: This manual refers to the 4 port version of the HDMI Switch.
1. HDMI output: Using an HDMI cable, connect the HDMI OUT to the HDMI input on your
display
2. HDMI inputs: Use HDMI cables to connect the HDMI outputs of your source devices to the
four HDMI IN inputs.
3. Power input: Connect the supplied 5V DC power supply
Front Panel Operation and Indicators:
4. Remote control sensor
5. Input select: Press the SELECT button to cycle through the different input channels. The
appropriate LED will illuminate to indicate the selected channel
6. Power LED: Illuminates when the power is connected
7. Power button: Holding the SELECT button for 3 seconds will power up or down the unit
Remote Control Operation:
8. Power button: Press to turn the unit on/off
9. Input select: Press 1,2, 3 or 4 to select the source
10.Void buttons: Buttons 5 to 0 are not used

Dieser High End Umschalter erlaubt Ihnen zwischen 2 oder 4 HDMI bzw. DVI-Signalquellen
umzuschalten und das Bild auf Ihrem TV oder Projektor mit HDMI bzw. DVI Schnittstelle
auszugeben. Er wurde entwickelt für den Einsatz in digitalen Home Theater Umgebungen, er ist
voll HDMI 1.3 / HDCP kompatibel, unterstützt Multi-Channel Digital-Audio sowie HDTV
Auflösungen bis 1080p. Das Umschalten zwischen den Signalquellen erfolgt entweder über die
beiliegende Fernbedienung oder auch über die Taste am Umschalter.
Der HDMI Switch Remote baut zu jedem angeschlossenen HDMI und DVI mit HDCP Gerät eine
individuelle HDCP verschlüsselte Verbindung auf. Daher ist das Umschalten zwischen den
Quellen problemlos möglich, ohne dass die beteiligten Geräte zwischenzeitlich resettet oder
ausgeschaltet oder abgezogen werden müssen. Sollte dies mit irgendwelchen Geräten nicht
funktionieren, so ist dies ein klarer Hinweis darauf, dass sich das betreffende Gerät nicht
vollständig an die HDMI Spezifikationen hält.

HINWEIS zum Betrieb mit Geräten mit DVI Anschluss: Um ein Gerät mit DVI
Anschluss zu integrieren können Sie entweder Adapterkabel HDMI auf DVI-D oder kurze
HDMI/DVI-D Steckadapter verwenden. Beachten Sie aber unbedingt:
1. Steckadapter üben eine enorme Hebelkraft auf die HDMI Buchse aus und führen durch
wackeligen Sitz möglicherweise zu Bildproblemen! Verwenden Sie besser Adapterkabel!
2. DVI-Anschlüsse unterstützen kein Audio-Signal!
ANSCHLUSS & BETRIEB
Rückseitige Anschlüsse: (Dies Handbuch bezieht sich auf die 4 Port Version)
1. HDMI Ausgang: Schließen Sie hier Ihren TV oder Projektor an. Verwenden Sie ein
HDMI/HDMI oder HDMI/DVI-D Kabel
2. HDMI Eingänge: Schließen Sie hier bis zu 4 Signalquellen an. Verwenden Sie HDMI/HDMI
oder HDMI/DVI-D Kabel.
3. DC / Versorgungsspannung: Schließen Sie hier das beiliegende 5V DC Netzteil an.
Vorderseite des Gerätes:

5. Kanalumschalter: Drücken den INPUT Schalter so oft, bis die grüne LED des gewünschten

Introduction
Merci d’avoir choisi le switch LINDY HDMI 1.3b avec télécommande. Ce switch haute
performance vous permet de connecter 2 ou 4 sources HDMI ou DVI vers un écran HDMI/DVI
ou projecteur.
Conçu pour les installations home cinéma, le switch HDMI supporte HDMI 1.3b et le codage
HDCP, les multi canaux audio numériques et les résolutions HDTV jusqu’à 1080p. La
commutation entre les sources s’effectue via un bouton sur le switch ou via une télécommande
infrarouge.

Notes sur l’utilisation d’appareils DVI: pour connecter des appareils DVI, vous
pouvez utiliser un adaptateur DVI/HDMI ou un câble adaptateur DVI/HDMI. Notez que
le DVI est une interface distribuant uniquement de la vidéo – aucun signal audio ne
sera commuté par le switch HDMI (avec des sources DVI)!
Connection & utilisation
Connexion au dos: ce manuel se réfère à la version 4 ports du switch HDMI.
1. Sortie HDMI: en utilisant un câble HDMI, connectez le port HDMI OUT à l’entrée HDMI de
votre écran
2. Entrées HDMI: utilisez des câbles HDMI pour connecter les sorties HDMI de vos sources
vers les quatre entrées HDMI IN.
3. Entrée Power: connectez l’alimentation 5V DC

5. Sélection de port: pressez le bouton SELECT pour commuter un des quatre signal
d’entrée. La LED approprié s’allumera pour indiquer le canal choisi
6. Power LED: est allumée si l’alimentation est connectée
7. Bouton power: restez appuyer sur le bouton SELECT pendant 3 secondes pour éteindre
le switch
Télécommande infrarouge:
8. Bouton power: pour allumer/éteindre le switch
9. Sélection du port d’entrée: pressez 1,2, 3 ou 4
pour sélectionner la source
10. Les boutons de 5 à 0 ne sont pas utilisés.

Se si collegano dispositivi DVI:
per collegare dispositivi DVI, occorrono degli
adattatori modulari DVI/HDMI oppure cavi DVI/HDMI. In ogni caso l’interfaccia DVI
supporta solo segnali video, quindi non verrà commutato nessun segnale audio dallo
Switch HDMI Remote con dispositivi DVI!

Connessioni sul retro: questo manuale è riferito alla verisone da 4 porte
1. HDMI output: collegare il monitor HDMI alla porta HDMI OUT con un cavo HDMI
2. HDMI input: collegare i dispositivi HDMI alle quattro porte HDMI IN con cavi HDMI
3. Power input: collegare l’alimentatore da 5V DC incluso nella fornitura
