Litepanels® 1x1 - Instructions
Litepanels power supply options
Attach the mounting bracket via the 2 captive screws to the bottom, at the back of the
Litepanels 1x1 fixture housing and insert the power supply. With the power switch in the
“OFF” position, attach the power supply (AC Adapter) at the lowest dimmer setting. The
right angle DC connector plugs into the power input jack at the back of the Litepanels
1x1 fixture. Connect the AC Adapter power cord to a 100-240VAC wall outlet or
extension cord. Set the power switch in the “ON” position and rotate the dimmer knob to
the desired light level.
***Do not power the AC Adapter through a dimming device***
Do not use 12 or 30 battery power input.
A 12V battery is an insufficient power source. With the fixture left on, the 1x1 control
board will overheat and cause damage to the electronic components.
A 12V power supply (AC Adapter) can experience similar circumstances. Use only the
24VDC power supply included in the kit. It is set at the optimum level.
A 30V+ battery input source will cause failure and damage to the 1x1 control board.
Backpack Power Cell - An optional 4amp/hour Litepanels battery will power the 1x1
for up to 2 hours; recharge takes 1:45 hrs. The battery is secured via the 2 captive screws
to the bottom, at the back of the housing. Attach the DC plug after mounting the
Litepanels battery.

D Battery Adapter Plates – Available in Anton Bauer Gold-Mount and V-mount
versions, the optional DV battery adapter plate mounts as the LP battery and contains
replaceable, current-sensing smart fuses. Attach the DC plug after mounting the battery.
14.4V Gold-mount and V-mount batteries will last until discharged at/near 12V and, at
this point, will cease to provide adequate voltage to power the 1x1.

Battery power – An optional 10ft./24VDC power cord with a 3-pin XLR connector can
be used to power the Litepanels-1x1 directly to any battery source from 1 -2 VDC.
Attach the right angle DC connector to the 1x1 fixture, then plug the XLR connector into
battery power.
Mounting brackets
An attached yoke is provided for mounting on a tripod stand or additional hardware. For
mounting without the yoke, screw a ¼-20 pin adapter to one of the four side positions on
the Litepanels 1x1 fixture and mount to tripod or hardware of choice.
Additional mounting hardware and frames for 2’ x 2’ and 4’ x4’ multi-panel
configurations are available to purchase or rent.
Gels/Filter/Diffusion
An optional 6pc. filter set is available for varying degrees of color correction and light
diffusion. Slide a diffusion or gel filter in the slot at front of the Litepanels 1x1 fixture.
Packaging
The Litepanels 1x1 is packed in a special cardboard carrying case with custom foam
inserts for protection and a handle for transport. An additional carton box is used for
shipping. It is advisable to purchase a stronger case for travel purposes. At this time,
Litepanels does not provide this option.
