TroubleshootingGuide
This guide is to help with a non-functioningpower recliner

Components:
•Switch –mounted on the side of furniture and controls all motors and functions (reclining, power headrest,
lumbar, etc.) via a direct connection with motors.
•AC wall plug –connectsthe powertransformer to the power outlet.
•DC cord –connects the power transformer to the DC socket (mounted on the rear bottom of LAF arm stump).
•DC socket –receives power from DC cord, then transfers to motors.
•Power transformer–A box-shaped unit to transfer110VAC powerto 25VDC power to supply forthefurniture.
•Y-cable w/junctionbox–splitter/extensioncordconnecting the power transformerto multiple motors.
•Junction box –connects the DC socket to the USB ports.
•Seat / Headrest/ Lumbar motor –motors mounted on mechanism to drivemovement on seat/headrest/lumbar via switch
control.
•Mechanism –themotion mechanical frame unit within the piece of furniture.
•USB ports- located on side switches (for sofa & loveseat & chair) / power strip (sofa) / console storage (loveseat) for
charging USB-supported devices.
•Power strip –located on the drop-downtable and supplies 110V AC power, also equipped with two (2) USB ports.
•Reading light –located inside the headrest of center seat, flip up the headrest to reveal.
•Touch- sensor switch –located on the drop-down table to control reading lights.

Quick Troubleshoot for Malfunctioning Motors
Below are some possible reasons to cause the motors to stop working:
1. Loose connection or wires not securely plugged in
2. Broken side switch
3. Broken DC socket
4. Broken power transformer (especially when ALL motors stop working on one unit)
5. Power cords damaged
6. Motor failure
NOTE: In some cases, a button on the switch might be stuck after being pushed, thus continuously
activating the motor. This can cause overheating or even damages on the power transformer.

working when pressing buttons on switch
1. Loose connection between motors and DC socket Check and secure connection
2. Switch failure (when happened to all motors of one same side
only) Replace switch
3. Motor failure (when happened to one certain function while
other functions work fine) Replace motor
4 Motor cannot be retracted after being reclined/raised
1. Power connection to motor came loose during movement Check and secure connection
2. Motor failure Replace motor
5 There is a loud noise when operating motors Internal parts of motors are rubbing during movement Replace a new motor
6Plugging iPad into USB ports on side switches does NOT
charge smart tablets
The output current of each USB port is 1A, while smart tablets
require a minimum current of 2A to charge N/A. This is NOT a defect, but feature by design.
7 USB port on switch does NOT supply power USB port on switch failed Replace switch
8 USB ports on the power strip cannot charge smart tablets The output current of each USB port is 1A, while smart tablets
require a minimum current of 2A to charge N/A. This is NOT a defect, but feature by design.

1. Loose connection between reading lights and touch-sensor
switch
Check and secure connection between reading light and
switch (cable can be found behind the back of center
seat)
