GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE.
A misuse of t e appliance can damage it or urt t e user. Assure t at
you use t e appliance for t e use for w ic it is designed; we refuse
any responsibilities as for t e damages by an incorrect use or a bad
manipulation.
1. T is device is exclusively intended for a domestic use. Any
ot er use (professional) is excluded. Do not use outside.
2. Before use c eck t at t e voltage of your wall outlet
correspond to t e rated voltage manner.
3. Always connect your appliance on a wall socket connected
wit t e eart .
4. Appliances can be used by persons wit reduced p ysical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if t ey ave been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of t e appliance in a safe way and
understand t e azards involved.

appliance on water or any ot er liquid.

external timer or separate remote control system.

SPECIAL MEASURES
Warning:
- T is appliance must be used wit sliding feed table and t e
piece older in position unless t is is possible due to t e
size or t e s ape of t e food.
- Never touc t e blade w en t e slicer is operating! Danger of
injury!
- Always use t e Meat & Food Holder (except per aps w en
slicing very large pieces of food). Press t e piece of meat or
food to be sliced forward using t e Holder.
- Use t e slicer only for slicing normal ouse old foods and not
for ot er purposes. Do not use t e slicer for slicing deep-frozen
foods, bones, foods wit kernels or for slicing packaged foods.
- Never use t e slicer for more t an 5 minutes continuously.
- WARNING: T e cutting blade continues to rotate after t e
slicer as been switc ed off for a few seconds.
- For safety reasons the slice thickness must be returned to
“0” setting after each use.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Packaging materials are not toys. C ildren s ould not play wit t e packaging materials, as t ey
pose a risk of swallowing and suffocation!
2. C eck for t e presence of all parts and for transport damage. In case of damages or incomplete
delivery, please contact your dealer.
3. Clean t e appliance (Cleaning and care).
4. Do not place any part of t is appliance in a dis was er.
5. Danger of injury! Handle t e blade (2) wit care as it is very s arp!
6. Place t e appliance on a dry, flat, and steady surface.
7. Apply downward pressure onto t e appliance so t at t e suction feet get a good grip.
BEFORE PLUGGING IN THE APPLIANCE MAKE SURE:
1. T e electrical circuit is not overloaded wit ot er appliances.
2. T e blade (2) is properly engaged and tig tened.
3. T e on/off switc (8) is set to off position.
4. T e t ickness knob (10) is set to 0.
5. Do not slice:
-Hardly frozen foods
-Meat wit bones
-Food containing large stones or seeds
-Food in wrappers suc as aluminum foil or plastic film
USE:
1. Place t e food carriage (6) to t e left as far as possible.
2. Place t e food to be sliced on t e plate (6). Afterwards, put t e older (12) onto t e food guide
andle and adjust it until it olds t e food in place firmly.
3. Place a tray (not provided) be ind t e blade (2) to catc t e slices.
4. Turn t e t ickness knob (10) to desired slice t ickness (0 - 15 mm).
5. Connect t e power plug (4) to a suitable electrical outlet.
6. Set t e on/off switc (8) to on position to switc on t e appliance. T e blade (2) starts running.
NOTE: t is appliance is equipped wit a safety switc (9), first bring t e safety switc towards yourself
t en pus simultaneously t e on/off switc and t e appliance will start. By pus ing t e on/off switc
again t e appliance will stop.
7. Grasp t e food older (12) wit your rig t and w ile keeping your t umb protected be ind t e
slicing guard (7). Apply even pressure for best slicing results.
8. Slide t e slicing guard (7) towards t e blade (2). Move back and fort steadily wit even pressure.
Repeat for additional slices.
9. After use, set t e on/off switc (8) to off position and t e t ickness knob (10) to 0.
10. Allow t e blade (2) to stop running completely. Unplug t e appliance afterwards.
Attention! Do never touc t e blade, t e blade is very s arp and can injure you severely.
Attention! Never use t e device wit out t e older, you can seriously injure.
Attention! W en turning off t e device t e blade remains turning for a w ile, do not touc t e knife.

CLEANING AND CARE
1. Before cleaning, always switc off t e appliance, let t e appliance come to a complete stop and set
t e t ickness knob (10) to 0.
2. Disconnect t e appliance from t e electrical outlet.
3. Clean t e appliance after every use. T is appliance contains no user serviceable parts and requires
little maintenance. Leave any servicing or repairs to qualified personnel only.
4. Do not put any part of t e appliance in t e dis was er!
5. Never use corrosive detergents, wire brus es, abrasive scourers, or metal or s arp implements to
clean t ese parts.
6. Wipe t e appliance ousing wit a soft, damp clot .
7. Store t e appliance in a cool, dry and clean place, out of t e reac of c ildren and pets.
8. Please keep t e packaging for transporting t e appliance or for storing your appliance w en not in
use for a longer period of time.
