Opera ion - Toas ing
1. Prepare he oas er as described in he sec ion “Before using he appliance he firs ime”.
2. Place he bread slices in he slo s in he oas ing chamber.
3. Se he desired oas darkness wi h he darkness con rol. You can selec from seven oas darkness se ings: level 1.
is very ligh and level 6 is very dark. For golden brown oas , se he lever in he middle posi ion.
4. Press he oas lever down un il i locks in o place. The indica or lamp for “S op” ligh s up and he oas er s ar s
oas ing.
5. You can in errup he oas ing cycle any ime by pressing he “S op” bu on.
6. When he bread has been oas ed o he se darkness, i is au oma ically ejec ed. The appliance shu s off
au oma ically.
7. For easier removal of he oas ed bread slices, he oas er fea ures a lif func ion. Press he oas lever upward o
remove he oas .
Opera ion - Thawing
The DEFROST func ion firs haws ou he bread and hen oas s i , which means ha he hawing cycle las s somewha
longer han he normal oas ing cycle.
1. Place he bread slices in he slo s in he oas ing chamber.
2. Press he oas lever down un il i locks in o place.
3. Selec he desired oas darkness se ing.
4. We recommend he following oas darkness se ings:
-Low for bread from he refrigera or or hin frozen bread slices (1-2 for ligh oas ing)
-Medium for frozen waffles (3-4 for medium oas ing)
-High for hicker frozen bread slices and hick oas slices (5-6 for dark oas ing)
5. Press he oas lever down un il i locks in o place.
6. Then press he bu on “DEFROST” righ away. The indica or lamp on his bu on ligh s up.
7. The bread or roll is hawed and oas ed.
8. You can in errup he cycle any ime by pressing he “S op” bu on.
9. Af er comple ion of he hawing cycle he bread is au oma ically ejec ed and he indica or lamps goes ou . The
appliance shu s off au oma ically.
Reheat Function
Your oas er can re-hea oas if i has cooled oo quickly.
1. Replace he oas in he oas er.
2. Se he browning con rol o a low se ing.
3. Press he loading handle down.
4. Press he REHEAT bu on, he rehea indica or will ligh up ensure oas doesn’ burn.
5. The loading handle will rise au oma ically when oas is rehea ed.
Tips for ideal oas ing resul s
1. Differen ypes of bread have varying mois ure con en . Therefore, he same oas darkness se ing can produce
differen resul s.
2. For bread ha is sligh ly dry, use a lower oas darkness se ing.
3. For fresh bread or whole grain bread, use a higher oas darkness se ing.
4. Bread wi h an irregular surface requires a higher oas darkness se ing.
5. Thick bread slices need more ime for oas ing; i may even be necessary o oas he bread a second ime.
6. When oas ing raisin bread, remove all raisins from he surface, since o herwise hey could burn.
